Lol I literally avoided the pizza in the cafeteria because I feel like a pizza face....that's what this has come to!
Lets just start off with a brief history if my seemingly never ending battle with acne
Ok so I used to just have oily skin and pimples on my forehead, and the rest if my face was flawless! Like I had a great complexion and my pimples weren't even that bad! Haha those were the good old days!
Now my forehead has pimples and stuff but my acne is all over my entire face! Like recently, my nose and all around it have been just awful! It's red and there are all these zits under the skin and little tiny zits and it's horrible! It's just so blotchy and disgusting! I literally cry when I see my face in the mirror now!
Even my cheeks are breaking out and I've never had any issues there!
Please help!!! I don't know what to do but I've cut back on irritating products but that's not doing too much! Like they are forming above my lip and my dream is to be able to leave the house without having to put on concealer, but right now that's not an option at ALL!
I'm literally dying here please help! I'd really appreciate any advice you may have!
Thanks a bunch!
Try Clearasil Ultra Rapid action face wash along with Neutrogena Rapid Clear lotion. If your skin can handle those then I would also add Neutrogena Rapid Clear Toner to that. This should help with the oiliness. They are around 7-8 dollars each in Walmart. I know they sound pricey but they last a good while. Those where my go to items when I was younger. Worked like a charm. Hope this helps!! Good Luck!
I know how you feel. I used to have really bad acne on my forehead area, ONLY on my forehead. The pimples were arranged in a symmetrical way that made it look like a big red disgusting triangle on my forehead, my cousin called it "the bermuda triangle". I know how people say that putting on concealer is okay as long as its oil free and has minerals or sth like that, but personally in my experience, putting any form of makeup on your face will probably cause a higher chance of having breakouts. It sucks to have shitty skin, covering it up might be the preferred option for the moment but its doing no good to your skin. So I guess my point is, try to avoid wearing concealer all the time. I have this daily regiment that really helped me a lot, if would like to try it:
Morning:(after washing your face)
1. Apply Green Tea Toner with a cotton ball all over face: basically, its green tea that you store in the fridge. It can be used for 2 nights. (So, if you have green tea, you just have to dip the tea bag in hot water as per normal. When its done, you pour some in a container to keep in the fridge. As for the leftovers, you can freeze it up in ice cube moulds and refrigerate when needed.)
2. Use your daily acne medication. Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment works best for me.
This is if you choose not to apply makeup. If you want to, use it maybe before using your acne medicine..? idk, its up to you....
Same thing works for at night. Tomato face masks help a lot too, so basically, u mash tomato up till its all mushy and spread it all over your face. Wait for 15 minutes and then wash it off.
I guess that's all.. I hope that you'd find this helpful..
p.s. i know its irrelevant to all this, but i want u to know that you're not alone in this. lol. i made it sound like u just came out of the closet or have cancer. i'll stop now. okay. hope it gets better..

Thank you! I started using retin a 0.01% (the lowest dosage) and it seems to be helping a lot! I have heard great things from both those companies and after I finish using up my current cleanser I plan on trying those products! Thank you so much!

Wow thank you so much! I appreciate your help and thanks for making me feel better! I'm trying out a retina a cream and it seems to be helping a lot lol it's only been one day I hate wearing makeup and I just put on enough concealer to cover it up and reduce redness but I don't use foundation because then I'm clogging the parts of my skin that aren't being traumatized (maybe that wasn't the right word choice oh well.....) by acne. Thanks a bunch!
Check your diet. Get on the regimen.
I keep in good shape and eat decently but I could clean up my diet a bit more! I'm thinking about the regimen if I don't end up getting cleared up soon

Great! I hope it works out for you! I am also using Retin-A 0.1% (the highest dosage) lol and it is working ok for me. I am almost 3 weeks into so I have to give it some time as always. I am using Yes to Tomatoes to heal my breakouts faster, I actually bought the acne kit because my forehead breaks out if I don't use anything medicated on it. As long as I do it stays clear, wish the rest of my face would do that. Haha. Oh and if Retin-A dries your skin out Simple Rich Moisturizer is great for that. A little goes a long way. You can get a small trial pack of Simple moisturizer, 7 wipes, and moisturizing facial wash for 4.99 right now at Wal-mart and Kroger. It works great!! My hormones are out of whack from some medicine I am on so that is what is effecting me. Hopefully these sugguestions help too. Good luck!!
I hope everything works out for you. I'm the type of person that's prone to those nasty gigantic cyst pimples that looks like boils. It's disgusting. The regimen has helped me clear that issue up. Still getting zits here and there, which is not a big deal to me. I'm going to step up my game and jump on Paula's Choice 5% BP. I think 2.5% BP isn't strong enough for me.
UPDATE!!!!!
Ok so I have recently started using stieva a 0.01%. I used to use retin-a but when I decided to try it again the pharmacists have me this but it still has trentinoin so I've been using it. When I was younger and had like no acne, I tried this but I globbed it on and developed eczema under my nose so to this day whenever I smile it turns red and looks like a red mustache yeah......so I was flaking and I have it up because of the reaction but the derm gave me a smaller percentage ( originally I was using 0.025). I recently decided to start using it again and threw out my long expired tube.
So this percentage is sooooo low and that's great cuz it isn't even that irritating! I've been using for a week and a half and my acne is doing better and no new pimples have popped up on the lower half of my face. On my forehead, all the whiteheads are surfacing so it doesn't look great but nuthing is inflamed so that's good!
I know it was working because I have a habit of popping pimples and I popped one on my cheek repeatedly and it got scanned and purple and it was horrible! It looked like a bruise under my makeup and it just wouldn't go away! I used this cream on it over and over again and now you can't even tell, aside from an ugly tiny indent. That is my very first acne scar and now I will never pick cuz of that!
I have been washing with cetaphil and that's it! I tried bringing a mask into my regimen but that just made my skin irritated. This is working well with just cetaphil and my stieva a!
