Hey I have something exactly like this and I have had it for years! I really would like to find a solution to help it. I'm on a lot of topical creams but it's hard to tell if they're doing anything. Do you think it has to do with a a fungal infection???

If you keep focusing on the outside and how to exfoliate them and cover it with creams, you will never get rid of them and will only waste money and end up feeling frustrated. Trust me, I had these for soooooo long and did so much research until I finally understood the problem and got rid of it. Ive realized these little bumps are caused by candida overgrowth and a clogged lymphatic system. Those can be caused by imbalanced hormones such as thyroid, stress and problems in your gut. so if youre constipated a lot, have recurrent UTIs and IBS, sugar cravings all the time.you fit the perfect profile for the bumps. See, the bumps are not the problem, theyre a symptom that your body is not well. Start by taking PROBIOTICS!! Basically your gut is full of bad bacteria because lf stress, birth control, antibiotics, etc. So you need to put the good bacteria back. This alone will make a huge difference. Then detox, detox, detox! Dry brush, drink aarm water with lemon in the morning, cut with refined sugar, refined grains, etc. Finally, exercise and meditate to get rid of that stress. It does take a while to really detox, you dont want to shock your body and the bumps might get worse before they get better but the sooner you start the better. Really deal with your stress! People who suffer this are usually going through a tough and unstable time of their lives so really tell yourself that everything will be OK. Check your Thyroid for imbalances and take kelp supplements EVERYDAY, this will make a huge difference! You can take it even if you just suspect you have thyroid problems, as it cant harm you at all. On a last note, dont get desperate and understand that your body renews itself ALL THE TIME! So youll get better for sure, your body is just really clogged and overwhelmed with toxins and emotions at the moment. So take it easy. Dont go and buy crazy products as they contain even more chemicals that will clog you even more. Stick to the naturals: regular exfoliation with sugar or something natural (proper exfoliation is so important to renew the skin cells) and just moisturize with coconut or almond oil and just leave your skin alone. Dont look at it, dont obsess over it cause that just causes MORE stress. I hope this helps!! :)

I had same issue for years small colorless bumps on fore head. Went to a Dermatologist who said they were clogged pores.

She burnt them off with a small tool and after a few weeks my skin is clear and smooth. It is considered cosmetic and most insurance will not cover it. I had 10 to 15 cut off at a cost of $200.00. Wish I would have done it sooner. They give you a cream to numb it that you put on 1 hour prior to appointment. It still hurts a little but I may have not used enough cream.

I have been using Doctor Bronners Hemp, Tea Tree Oil liquid soap on just my forehead. I put in on in the shower and leave it on for about a minute then rinse. It's working very well.

Hi all,

I have had small colorless and painless bumps all over my forehead for about 2 years now. They can only be seen well when up close or when the sunlight catches them. The skin on my forehead also feels extremely rough due the size and consistency of these bumps.

I used to have mild to moderate acne, therefore I believed that this condition was just another way that my acne was coming through, however my skin has been almost 100% clear for the past year, yet these bumps/ texture persists, leading me to believe it is not a form of acne.

I have read online about forms of folliculitis and fungal/ yeast related conditions that seem to be extremely similar to my condition based off of descriptions/ images that I've found. Pityrosporum folliculitis is the condition that I have found is most similar to mine based off my internet research.

I'd like to note that I am in the process of getting an appointment made with a dermatologist, however I am asking here anyways because I have seen many cases of misdiagnosed conditions, particular those related to fungus/ yeast. I'm posting this in hopes that somebody who has first-hand experience with this condition can instantly identify it and maybe even give me some advice in helping to treat it.

In the mean time, I plan to switch brands of shampoo, start exfoliating and improving my diet (I know these things may not help, but they're things that are probably not a bad idea to do regardless)

I have attached several images of the affected area that I hope are of decent enough quality to help somebody identify this condition.

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to help. I know that I am on an acne forum and I explicitly say that I don't believe that it's a form of acne, however I'm not completely sure, and if it isn't, it is very similar and seems to be easily misdiagnosed as acne, therefore I'm hoping that somebody has experience with it. If I'm in the completely wrong place, feel free to point me in the right direction.

I have had the same condition for a number of weeks. It is awful.

After reading some of the above posts, I tried the Nizoral shampoo but it didn't help at all. Then my wife suggested Bennett Soap and even after the first wash it started to feel so much better. Now after about 3 days it is almost completely cleared up and the itching has stopped. I highly recommended this product.

Hope this helps.

You have closed comedones for sure! Try a retinoid or tactupump/epiduo from your doctor or walk-in clinic

Until recently I had this, and it sounds to me like you've got Subclinical acne which sounds super scary but is basicaly a form of clogged pore, and very easy to cure! The way I went about it I cut out all mousturization on the patches that had it, so really only my my forehead, giving them a chance to unclog and breathe, and then I followed a strict routine using the following products:

Cleaned my face night and morning with Johnson a baby shampoo as it completely gets rid of every trace of makeup
every morning and evening gave my face a ace a quick scrub with the charcoal face scrub from the Boots tea tree and witch hazel brand
washes my face with the Super Facialist salicylic acid anti blemish purifying cleansing wash because salicylic acid is soooooo important for this condition
gently dried and only moustrurised lower half of face with very light mousturizer
use charcoal face masks and salicylic acid face masks once a week to really de-clog
try to steam face once a week to help decongestion

hope is helps someone like it did me x

Hi everyone, i have been having these small bumps on the forehead for about a year now. I have been consulting dermat and changed dermat twice within six months as i have not been noticing any visual changes. The first one gave me phosphate gel to apply at night for one 30 mins and remove it, along with oral tabs, acne cleanser and mild moisturizer. This i did for about 3 months and didnt help. Now the second dermat has suggested me to use benzoyl peroxide cleanser in place of face wash twice a day and benzoyl peroxide/adapelene gel to keep on for 30 mins every night and wash off with plain water. This looks to aggravate the situation, my bumps have become more noticeable and spread around the nose and cheek area as well.

I have a lot of oily crap, sugar and dairy which i cut down to 30% and trying to do that a 100%. Also, i have been doing yoga for over a month, which helps with the stress but not the forehead bumps, sadly.

If anyone healing with this condition, kindly suggest me something useful.

I had these when i was a student and a doctor prescribed me skinoren (azelaic acid) i used every night for couple of months and they turned to pimples and disappeared one by one.
I have somewhat the same type of acne in between my lower lip and chin area but i havent been able to use skinoren due to my facial hair laser removal sessions. As it might interact and cause burn or pigmentation.

Does using ketoconazole cream will work as same as using a ketoconazole anti - dandruff shampoo?

I made an account here just to say this.

I've always had very nice skin growing up. Only in the last 3 years, I had a problem with these small colorless bumps on my forehead. They felt horrible to the touch and made me extremely self conscious. I finally found this thread and tried the Nizoral shampoo 1%...and my skin is almost completely clear after about 2 weeks. I use it once a day after I take off my makeup, leave it on for 20-25 minutes, rinse it off, and that's it. I cannot say thank you enough to those who recommended this on the thread. After 3 years of struggling with this, the relief I feel is hard to put into words. Thank you a million times.

I have had these on my forehead for almost 2 weeks now. My regular face wash routine on my oily skin with a cleanser and scrubs has not been working. I've probablt experienced this issue about 2 times when I was 19 and now at 40. I purchased Shea Moistures Black Africa Soap with Shea Butter and some Witch Hazel to try a different skin care treatment that I heard helps but it only cleared it up a little. I found this blog last night and read that a head and shoulder face mask/face wash works and it did right away, diminishing my bumps by about 90%. I followed the face wash with witch hazel also. I recommend trying this.

Hi there! I'm having the same issue. I just noticed it even though I'm sure I'm had it for a while, it's just that the bumps are getting more noticeable when I get out of the shower or sweat. Ive noticed my forehead itches when I swear or wear a ball cap. Also, you can see the bumps when you get out of a hot shower. I would really like to know what this is and how to clear it up. I'm tired of itching when I sweat, and I not smooth baby skin. These lesions/ bumps are making my forehead get wrinkly a lot faster than I'd like.

Ok everyone, I had these bumps and they just basically popped up overnight and were increasing by the day. I used the Aztec healing clay face mask, you can get it on amazon for $8 and the reviews are phenomenal. I mixed the powder mask with apple cider vinegar and let it sit on my face for 15 mins. The next morning my face was smoother than it has ever been. This stuff rocks, I thought my acne was just coming back:/

I get this sometimes! What gets rid of it for me is adapelene (ie.differen gel).

I been using this acne gel since last April for mild adult acne( also works as an anti aging!). Adapalene isnt a quick fix. You have to use it consistently for while to start seeing results . And for acne it starts getting worse before it gets better. For me the first month was great but the 2-3 were rough. After that it got better and better. Anyways try to stay consistent with a tiny bit of this on my face every night. But if I forget a for couple nights or notice my forehead looking all bumpy Ill make sure to put some on before bed. And its gone by morning. I Believe Differin gel is the only Adapalene you can get over the counter without a prescription. Anyways it what works for me. Theres an awesome dermatologist that swears by it called Dr.Day, i believe, on YouTube (love her).

Anyways Cant say I know the cause or diagnosis. Just saying what has working for myself. All the best!
