Exercise is important for overall health. You sweat, toxins find another way to come out. It may or may not be what you need to clear your acne but its great for your health. It gets the blood flowing, promotes circulation, etc. You can do vigorous walking to prevent yourself from losing weight or simply eat more, add hemp protein shakes, avocados, etc.
It's good to exercise, if for no other reason then for your heart. It's a muscle like any other muscle don't forget. A strong and healthy heart will help regulate much throughout your body and keep blood circulation to and from your face. Exercise will only benefit you from what I understand... and yes, all Sasch83 said too.
