A pimple started to show on my nose about 2 weeks ago, it was big, red and swell. Soon, the white head started to come out and with lots of pus inside. I carefully drained the pus by poking it with a clean needle. I would put on retin-a afterwards. However, the thing it, the pimple would fill up with pus again the next day. Then I would drain the pus again but to see the pus coming back soon. I stopped using retin-a today, instead I am using an antibiotic ointment after draining the pus. This has been going on for 2 weeks, today the white pus is becoming a slightly green color and I am kinda scared. Anyone knows what to do? Any help would be appreciated.
I had spots like this, the pus was an odd yellow-green colour and sometimes had a horrible smell. Every time I emptied the spot it came back, and if I left it hoping it would go away it would just sit there for ever until I squeezed it from frustration. I did some research and asked the doctor if she thought it was a staph infection, she agreed and gave me some flucloxacillin and I don't seem to be getting any now. You should make a visit to your doctor because apparently some staph infections leads to MRSA :s Have a look at staph infected acne images on google and see if your spot/spots is similar looking!
