I noticed that water made my skin better but it didn't heal at all...

BUT good luck anyways.

Today I had plain water morning shower.

No shave.

The skin is smoother.

The blackheads are significantly less.

The Milia and whitehead bumps are much better. I believe some came out with the warm water shower!.

God says stay with the plan....

I think it is good not to be harsh on your skin because when I was using cleaner on my skin on my body, it made it worse.

Today I noticed two small lumps. One on my jawline, the other on my forehead.

I am leaving them alone.

I know they an inflammatory type but I believe they will reduce in the next few weeks.

Plain water shower again.

They idea is to not hurt the skin.

i have to say i agree with melbourne bloke. when i was at the doc to get prescription for doxy, i asked him about blackheads and whether u should force them out and he just said to leave them and not touch them at all as they are naturally exfoliated over time.

Thank you for the support. It is very difficult when you are all alone.

My skin is definately improving since I stopped picking or using harsh chemicals..

Yes and blackheads are coming out on their own.....

There is this guy who did an experiment where he didn't wash his face and it actually helped.

i did a phase of that lastyear

supprising how minimising aggrivation on the face actually helps that much.

didnt last tho.

eventually acne starts 2feed off the dead skin cells etc.

That's pretty gross that it feeds off skin cells. I guess that means that you should just be gentle still.

The inflammatory acne lump near my jawline has reduced.

The lump on my forehead has become a white pimple. I believe the surface of the boil/pimple will open out in the next two days during my warm shower.

The skin texture looks overall better with no new blackheads formation since I started the soap free shower regime.

What types of "abuse" did you do to your skin before?

What types of "abuse" did you do to your skin before?

Everything from using crappy harsh acne skin medications, chemicals, lotions, too much soap, picking, popping, squessing out Milia which I mistook for acne, lack of exercise and proper sleep, improper food and nourishment.

I HAVE ACNE SCARRING AND DEVELOPED BAD SKIN TEXTURE.

TODAY I WOKE UP AND MY SKIN IS SO MUCH SMOOTHER AND NO NEW BLACKHEADS, MILIA OR DEEP SEEDED BUMPS.

That's great. Right now I personally believe that our bodies were meant to heal themselves.

p.acnes is a vindictive type of bacteria. It seeks revenge if you try to destroy it with chemicals.

The best approach is a passive one and let your body fight it without aid of chemicals.

You have lots of patience dude.... but I don't think waiting that long would be more practical than doing something to get rid of it

My dad's a Medical Technologist and is an expert on bacteria and those stuffs... he always advice me to leave my face alone bec putting those topical craps is just like culturing bacteria on your face...i never believed him bec. i thought he just wants me to stay off the mirror and quit on picking my face... i guess he's right...i did have less blackheads now but i still have those black spots from pricking

Today I get up face looks much better.

Shave and shower with mild anti-bacterial soap sapoderm.

About sapoderm - I use it only once a week after shaving

Sapoderm Medicated Soap is formulated with a blend og the products of both nature and science. It contains:

* 20% pure coconut extract - for thorough natural cleansing.

* Triclosan - for effective anti-bacterial action. Triclosan lays down a protective shield on the skin that helps fight bacteria. Thus regular use builds resistance to new infection.

* Skin feels fresh, smells clean

* Helps fight acne, pimple and oily skin problems.

Sapoderm thoroughly cleanses blocked pores and removes excessive oil film: restores natural oil balance to the skin.

Touching face skin spreads infection and inflammation.

So I know that do nothing approach is the best.

I want to look good.

I have resonably good looks. Why suffer?

U are definitely on the rite track

hey, i've been using only water for the past 5-6 days now and it's working out great. I'd say the hardest thing for me to stay away from is manual exfoliation. I still have some small flakes and some gunk inside my pores (especially on and around my nose). Oh and these little white hair-like things on my chin. It seems to be getting better though. I actually stopped doing anything but washing with Cetaphil since the 5th, so about 3 weeks ago. You say you wash with a mild soap once a week? So the other 6 days it's strictly water?
