Recommended RF Microneedling but afraid of the risk of fat loss?

In the past I've had extremely negative experiences with lasers. For that reason I'm reluctant to try CO2 laser. My doctor has suggested RFM as an alternative. However, I'm 40 and have a very slim face with little facial fat. Both on here and Reddit I've read horror stories of people's scars worsening and hollows appearing from loss of fat (from heated devices). I'm booked in to have RFM in 3 weeks but I go between wanting to cancel/go ahead with it about 20 times per day. My doctors office rang me today to follow up. During that call I brought up fat loss and the nurse either acted dumbfounded or genuinely had never see it happen in her clinic. She seemed confused why I'd even think it possible. Could anyone who's had it please share your experience? thank you.

PLEASE NOTE: I've recently had subcision (within the week) so I don't look exactly the same as the attached picture, but I'm still swollen and bruised so any pictures now wouldn't be accurate.

I'd listen to your gut on stuff like this. Don't do anything you're not totally comfortable with. It's your only face! I'd get a second and third opinion. Go see 2 other really good docs and see what they say. Then take your time to decide on what's right for you.

I had RF Microneedling done twice and didn't see noticeable results. I got it done for $1,000 per session which was pretty good in CA. It's hard for me to recommend that because of my experience but everyone's scars are different. If you have the money, go for it but be sure to take pictures so that you know you're getting results.

Maybe I'm in the minority but fractional CO2 helped me the most. Laser results are extremely dependent on the doctor.

You can try TCA Cross but you''ll need a series of that.
