I had virtual consult with Dr. Rullan and he originally recommended filler with subcision in temple area. Fillers freak me out and I asked for an alternative. He told me he could inject saline in temple area after subcision. Is it a bad idea to mess with temples with these two procedures? Is it risky because it's near more nerves and eye area? Thoughts?
Thanks!
@memyselfi no he didn't because he abruptly told me that he had to go. Consult was over because he had other patients. This was virtually and I did pay for it. This was Dr. Peter Rullan in San Diego. I never got to ask him. I hate when doctors just decide ok, we're done and dont tell you that you have 5 minutes left. It doesnt make sense why you would use saline... I was hoping someone on here would know.

Your experience with that doctor echos every interaction I've had with Dermatologists. I'm curious to know if anyone has an answer to the saline question, I hope you get an answer.
Let's be honest anything has risks. Lower fat areas have more risks, but the devil is in the details, depending on your exact scars and the doctor's experience. Why are you so freaked out about filler btw? So long as it's a temporary filler I don't reason it will shift or anything like that and the hope would be any poking (subcision) would somewhat generate healing. I know nothing about saline though.
