Hi guys,

Fyi, so back in 2021 i had done 6 co2 fractional laser then i stopped . Recently i went back to the doctor and she advised me to do co2 fractional laser and rf microneedling +mesotheraphy (2 weeks apart between these procedures) , i asked her to do subcision but she told me that my acnes scar doesnt need it.i want to treat my scars at the roots and not just wasting money and damaging my skin , so what should i do now ?

Yeah, that's why i try to find alternatives, but the doctor insists on co2 and rf microneedling. I have done 1 cycle of that and my acne scars still look the same, anyone can help ?

I would leave it like that and save your money. You can do microneedling once a month at Home. Adapalene cream can Help to get a better skin tone and reduce redness or new acne.

What exact type of laser did you get? Do you know? Did you get ablative fractional laser or non-ablative? Non-ablative seems to provide very low results, but ablative produces better results (but yeah, comes with more hyperpigmentation).

TCA CROSS also produces pretty good results for similar scars to yours, so that might be an option to look into.

And...if you're not happy with your current doc or treatments thus far, for sure, go ahead and get a second (or even third) opinion from other specialists.

Im pretty sure that it is ablative co2 laser, i will ask the doctor about TCA cross next time, have never dont that. Do you think with my scars, subcision is a good option ?
