hello, most people say they don't see a problem with my skin or it's definitely not noticeable, but I have obsessive compulsive disorder and am extremely obsessed with my skin. I read somewhere that the fatter you are and the fatter you are, the less scars are visible, and after that day I constantly ate harmful and sugary things. Later, my liver became fatty and different health problems occurred. Later, I signed up for a bodybuilding gym near my home, and started doing both cardio and bodybuilding, and now I'm eating healthy. I feel so good. But now my new obsession is if I lose weight and my skin oil goes away, will the scars get terrible? This scares me so much. On the one hand, I think my skin will be better with healthy blood flow and healthy eating. I quit smoking because I started sports. Do you think I should continue the sport or should I quit the sport to make my face fat?
TBH, I think you need help with your mental health more than anything. The question isn't whether or not to make your face fat.
But let's say that we are having the conversation without any mental health stuff. Still, getting fat isn't going to make your scars look better. Maybe a tiny bit, but probably not noticeable. It's much better to get your scars checked out and see if you can do any treatments on them instead of trying for a super minimal improvement and then also being fat and having all those issues to deal with.
Well I lost 15 lbs from 200 to 185 and my scars really didn't change much. 6'1 here with 34 waist to give you an idea. I think the concept of scars changing with weight loss is heavily dependent on the type of scars and even then I'm not sure you lose a ton of facial fat unless you're really overweight but it's probably body specific. Personally I wouldn't worry too much about that. Like I said you're more likely to lose fat (based on my experience) from the tummy, butt, chin, legs.
