ok... i am shocked at all these posts about dr.rullan.
i haven't been on this acne forum in a very long time. i think it might be 1.5-2 yrs now
i too have had exoderm by dr.rullan, this was done probably a couple years ago. time goes by so fast I am not sure how long ago it was.
however the dr.rullan i knew was a different man than what is being posted about him right now.
I started breaking out again on my back, and little on my face, and I want to go see dr.rullan about my current acne break out. I am considering blue light therapy. However, I want all this negative feedback about dr. rullan cleared up before i see him again.
I cant imagine a man can change like that in 2 years.
My exoderm included free touch-ups, unless his pricing changed? I dont know

Best thing for you to do is PM individual posters if you want thorough answers. For public consumption would be the pricing: touch ups are NOT included & the full face exoderm is $5000. It simply might not be economically feasible to touch up for free anymore, I don't know. I also don't know how many touch ups are required?
I told him about the hypopigmented spot on my scalp during the second part of the touch up ( I was wide awake and having some conversation with them to help with the pain) but we were both focused on the abrasions he was doing and then after that I told him about it over the phone. He said he has to see it. It is hypopigmentation, not totally white like with vitiligo. I noticed the discoloration after the first major exoderm but I was more concerened with my facial scars and I think it was not as hypopigmented then and I was hoping it would be transient. After the touch up I was reading that the scalp and hairline should be protected from the phenol and that is when I called him about it. I have bangs on the side so I can cover it with them. It is on one of the sides of the hairline where your hair naturally recedes a bit. There is a lighter smal circle and then patchy areas that look discolored. I know you may ask why the hell I had the touch up then. He told me it is rare for hypopigmentation to occur on the face prior tp the exoderm and since I had no pigmentation problems on my face with the original and he convinced me the touch up would really help improve my scars and and scarred pores. The free subcision and saline injection also helped to regain my confidence and renew some hope in him and his procedure that I badly needed at the time. I wont deny that he is a good salesman and probably excelled at his marketing courses. Right now looking in the mirror I see some lighter areas but they are not that obious and I still have some faint pink color there from the touch up next to my right lip and some darker looking lines that looked like lines from the mask craking but I think it is very slight scarring. Honestly if my scars and pores were greatly improved this trade off would be acceptable to me, but I would still post about it.
When you go through a major procedure like this, you go through a period of denial, where you are still hoping everything will work out in the end. The happy posters are telling you how it improves with time and how much more improvement they got with a touch up. This is why I can understand Nambrobi. There were days where I decided it is best not to look in the mirror and scrutinize my face. One day I went to bed happy because when my face was raw looking from the touch up, my pores looked smaller but they started to look the same in 2-3 days.
Right now, I am feeling better about my skin because I started using TNS, and super cop and it looks (with the larenim mineral makeup) and feels softer bare but I still see no obvious improvement in the actual scars that is why I attribute this improvement to the topicals. I also colored my hair and alot of people have told me it looks good so that helps.

I had the exo by dr. rullan 3 months ago. Im very happy. my scars are gone and i lok 10 years younger. I have haad other procedures done This by far was the best. I had scars and big pores. I know 2 others who have had great results. As far as a touch up, Im more thn happy to pay 250.00 Its like the price of 2 dermabrations less than botox!
I loved dr. Rullan and would show my before and after pics to anyone and HIGHLY recomend him.
I feel aweful for Jasmin . please talk to the doctor openly. He is Really very kind and honest!!

Dr. rullan REALLY is good doc. ive been to many and highly recomened him. My exo was the best thing ive ever done. people ask me for his card all the time. i had scars, holes hypo and hperpigmentation. the exo helped to clear it all up. also people think im 30 and iM 42.
He really is a good doc, and paying 250.00 for a touch up...Big deal! Its really worth it...
And no i dont work for him. i wish i did though.

Hello all.....Yeap I have been here....Many times as matter of fact....hahahahahha!!!! Just reading away at the things you guys have been writing.....I wish this board had been a positve experence for me..Because when I first posted here that IS what I had hoped for....Some positive replies...
However...The over wheming negetives far out weighted the good replies or advice I received...But all the same....Thanks to the kind hearted people who did have nice things to say.. It just seems that people try to twist so many things said here...
It is kind of funny..Like I remember I had told someone here I really had no expectations for the Exoderm...I mean that I was open to the HOPE of it helping me..That was it.....But I actually had a person that same person reply back to me...And get this...They said...I think your expectations are unrealistic.....hahahahaahhaha!!!! Can you imagine.....hahahahahahha!!!!!

I had decided LONG before my Exoderm ( Yes I had it ) that after that negetive feedback on Exoderm I heard from so many here....That I simply would not report here on my results good or bad......Because there is no winning here...If I say good things about the Exoderm ...Well I must work for Dr. Rullan...OR BE A PLANT HERE ON THIS BOARD......hahahahahha!!! That is soooo rediculous ....Or if I say bad things...Then I hear " I told you so" Heck......everyone migth LOVE that..... It just seems to me that so many of you out there were just down right bitter....And I am sorry for that...But don't be so bitter that you can't accept when others have a good response to something...You know some people respond well to chemothearpy...Others do not....We are not all the same....
Anyway....I am posting here now....So that I can possibly be of help to anyone out there who may not be getting the truth from this board....I will not post here over and again to defend what I have experenced from my Exoderm...Nor will I get into any lenghtly defending statements either...But what I do want to say is this.....I have had wonderful results I am happy with my Exoderm...And as for Dr. Rullan...I think he is the most wonderful caring doctor I have ever met...And I have been around many Doctors...I have been in the medical field myself..So to end this..I would be happy for any one seriously considering Exoderm to email me privately...I do not have lots of time to reply to people that are not seriously considering Exoderm..But I will be happy to reply to you and give you any help that I can...So please take this as my reply to Exoderm..I am very happy !!!!! =)

in regards to your sarcastic post.. IF you really did have Exoderm, my feeling is, your results were NOT that great...and you are possibly embarressed to tell us.
she doesnt want to share and is not open to others opinions or personal experiences with Exoderm. I for one dont like being refered to as a joke.

Well, I am not surprised, this sounds like all the other proexodermist posts especially the part about Dr. Rullan being the most wonderful caring Dr. in the world. Lets see, i have not posted about this before but I would like to give you an idea of Dr rullans bedside manner and you decide if this is very caring. After my first exoderm I was very upset because i saw more waviness on the sides of my chin. I cried on the way from los Angeles to San Diego. When i told dr. Rullan that I thought I saw more scars, he blew me off. Without giving me any eye contact, he told his nurse she's not getting it as he proceeded to walk out the room.
If u notice a lot of the people getting the exoderm are coming from this and other sites because they post to people about the procedure all the time. A lot of people will be interested in dermabrasion or something and someone from Dr. Rullans office weill post saying how much better exoderm is than dermabrasion. The chick at the top is probably working for Dr. Rullan anyway. She would be the first person that had a good result from the exoderm that I have seen on here.

Hoje fazem 2 semanas que realizei meu peeling de Exoderm.
Tenho vontade de chorar.... apos o sofrimento desgracado que e este procedimento e sem contar que e carissimo... tive uma melhora de 30%.
Estou revoltada e super triste.... por anos sonhei com uma pele bonita, fiz quase de tudo.... e consegui uma melhora de 30%
