Hi there I have recently just finished my 6 month course of accutane but have been left with a bunch of scars, I think a mix of tethered/rolling/box? I want to go to a dermatologist to get them treated, Im thinking subcision. Was wondering if anyone could recommend any good doctors in the Uk? Im from Scotland but would be willing to travel, thanks 🙂

I see. The last picture sort of illustrates it the best so if we are talking about scars like that, the general belief would be subcision and filler. It's a volume issue. But remember when you poke at things to try and create healing, sometimes that healing is uneven and you sort of have to work at it over time to get it even or cumulative.
You might also want to go slower and test it out a bit before super aggressive subcision. Some people hop right in and do it super aggressive and everywhere but if you can find a doctor that wants to test/slow it to see if it works well that's probably good.
Also you have to wait a while after accutane to do any surgery. It's because accutane saps some healing capabilities and oil/production etc which aids it. I don't remember what the wait is now but it's probably 6 mos to a year.
As for knowing anyone in UK I apologize I'm from the states and it's generally very hard to even find a good one here. You're going to have to do lots of diligence online. Try to pick one that has experience, seems to do a lot of procedures, doesn't upsell you garbage like microneedling and so on.
