So im finally gonna start getting treatments for my scar. Ive Been down for too long, never wanting to go out with friends etc. IT might not turn out good enough but atleast then I've tried.

I dont really know where to start, ive Been thinking:

Subsicion

Fat transfer

CO2 laser

And doing them a couple of times each atleast. Im desperate to make IT work to get my life back. I know its impossible to say, but does anyone have an thought of what i should expect in terms of results from these methods? Id sacrifice anything for 80%+ but thats probably being too optimistic. Also any suggestions in other methods Are well appreciated.

All pictures Are from the same scar, but different Angles/lighting.

Thanks.

I cant see whats underneath your beard, but your scarring seems very minorand shallow. I think CO2 laser (fractional ablative and fully ablative) could do a great job in stimulating collagen production in those rolling scars and smoothing out the skin surface. In terms of results, it depends on several factors, like how old the scars are, how old your skin is, your genetics (how well your skin can produce collagen) et cetera. Usually, the improvement ranges between 50-80%.

Thank you for your reply!

No scarring under beard.

My age is 28 and scarring is probably about 8 years +.

Scarring does really improve when I smile. But I think parts of it is tethered.

I've just gotten an apointment 22. April. We Will go through a plan togheter after the plastic surgeon has had a look at them. I've Been saving up for a time now and im thinking doing treatments in the long run could give me some improvements , hopefully.

If this doesnt work out , I Will contact that danish doctor Emil Henningsen i think it is? He seems like he knows what hes doing.

I told her I really wanted a couple of subsicion with filler/fat transfer. As my cheek has some fat/fibre loss. After that Im mostly clueless, but maybe 4-5 times with microneedling and then finishing it off 3-4 times with CO2 laser as you Said. Just Hope I get a good surgeon. I Will update here after my first Session.

I wish you the best on whatever treatment but it's extremely light. Without that angle you probably couldn't see it in other angles. I would say just be happy it's that shallow don't do anything too strong with large risks.

If subscision works for you it would probably be your best bet as collagen might branch upward to fill in since it's so shallow probably a lot of repair mechanisms underneath (like blood vessels etc once poked).

Fat transfer filler in such small doses might have far less risk at shifting but you never know and it's usually for larger areas. I think you should try more temporary stuff first like HA fillers or sculptra or something since you only need very little.

LIke I said I think subscision testing is the way to go. Try 1 spot first. Document pictures see if there's improvement after.
