This is a before and after from one of my local clinics. What do yall think? The procedure that was used was erbium+co2 laser. The laser surgeon who did this is very reputable.
That's a major improvement, but personally I don't trust the presentation of the results. I think they probably edited the before or after or both to make it seem more effective. I don't think I've seen anyone in real life with such good results, from any treatment.

You can kind of still see an atrophy where it worked is smoothing of scar edges and it becomes depression without scar edges. Also it has lifted a bit. But now to improve results further she would probably require spot fillers

I mean Id see what your saying but if they edited it, wouldnt it not like it sunk in her skin a bit? It kind of makes sense that it looks like that because the erbium laser shaved off the edges and now it looks more like rolling scars rather than boxcars.

Not sure if it is edited or not. Even if it is 70 percent true then fine maybe few more sessions and the filler will be there to get to a good point. Sure there will stillbe visibility of scars but will be good enough to better their confidence levels

I concur, I believe these pics were edited. Her scars are way too deep for laser to be able to blur and level the surrounding skin like that¦.unless she did around 5+ rounds of ablative CO2 laser, subcision, and fillers¦would have been possible or believable if her scars are superficial, not that deep¦..just my opinion¦.
Oh, I know Pima Dermatology! I actually met with that dermatologist and really trust him. He was really pushing that combo lol. It's like $5,000 and requires a month of downtime. I couldn't commit to that.
If I were the person in that picture, I would have gotten at least 2-4 rounds of subcision before trying the laser. Yes, her scarring has improved a lot, but her results would have been even better with subcision.
As for the images, you can tell the pictures were taken from a different angle, and maybe has different lighting. But I personally don't think the photos were edited. I could be wrong though. He has other examples that aren't quite this dramatic with other patients.
