You are not the right candidate for such procedures. You need really good cosmetic Products and thats it. Keep your skin moist all the time. Products With Aloe Vera can calm down your skin.

Sorry my english is not good. I speak german better :). What I wanted to say is that you dont need doctors. Your skin is not bad. Aloe Vera can reduce red and irritated skin. I think you dont have to be concerned about your skin. Best wishes

Thank you for your kind words, but my skin isnt irritated. It is scarred and it has bothered me for a long time now. I need to try some treatments and if that doesnt work Ill hope I can live with them eventually.

First of all, you don't have bad acne scarring.

Like the other posters mentioned, TCA Cross would be best . Treatments are 4-6 weeks apart.

Had my 2nd treatment in August. Not much to show. Scars are more or less the same. Especially the deeper ones. I want to continue treatment but was wondering if there are more people out here that only did see improvement after multiple treatments.

Also, is it possible to combine TCA Cross with halo laser?

I've just had my 4th treatment and my two deeper/larger ice pick scars seems to have started to finallyrespond.

As for my other smaller icepicks, some got worse after treatment for a couple of weeks and by the 6th to 8thweek they have all improved to varying degrees or at least stayed the same. Some will get wider but with softer edges before they start to fill in. Try to not stress too much after treatment because there will be times where it will look really bad.

I haven't heard of Halo laser but my dermatologist uses non-ablative laser with mine after getting TCA cross within the same session.

Thank you for your reaction! I will book a 3rd treatment in the next year. My deeper more prominent scars haven't reacted at all. Do you think that the combination treatment gave you better result? Did they also laser the spots that have been treated with TCA? And how much improvent do you think you've got (especially for you deeper scars)?

That is a good question whether the combination treatment gave better results. Honestly I have no idea because I've never done TCA cross by itself before. The combination treatment was suggested by my dermatologist and his reasoning was the laser was to further stimulate collagen generation. After finishing the TCA cross they wait a couple of minutes then they go over the area that was treated with TCA cross with the laser.

Before treatment I would say I had 4 really large and deep icepick scars. Out of the 4,2 have improved by 60-70%, 1 by 50%, and the last one I can't tell at this point since it is still red and healing (this one is probably the most unresponsive one). The other smaller icepick scars generally have responded well with about 70-90% improvement.
