2 Weeks for the swelling to go down in my case

I think in my case too. I think so becauseapart from the areas under which the filler was injected, all my scars alreadyre-appeared a week agoand the skin seems "settled". Some of thosethat got subcised appear less deep. So far I would love it if what I see 2 weeks post is what I get, but I try to remain objective and will assess at the 3 month mark for more permanent results. Who knows, there might be some kind of micro swelling at play still.

Did you have grid marks after Genius?
On 8/23/2020 at 8:58 PM, Dilyana said:Sure. My recovery was surprisingly fast and without problems given the high energy settings the doctor used.
For the first 3 days my face was excessively swollen. I used only a gentle wash and Cerave moisturizer and dilligently massaged the filler many times a day, following Dr. Emil's advice.
On day 4 the swelling subsided, the filler settled and I started applying mineral make up.
After that my skin normalized with every day more and more. Now - 9days after - I'm left with tiny grid marks on one cheek and light reddish undertone.
I still haven't done any sport for fear of messing the filler up, I'll wait for another week or so.
What I'm really curious about is the Radiesse filler. I see my scars over the filler but the area overall is very plump and the texture is less wavy-like. I don't know if the filler has settled and that's the final effect, or if my scarring will be more visible in 2 weeks time. If anyone had experience with the Radiesse filler as a field therapy, feel free to share your experience about this.
I'm also curious about the effect of the Genius device. It'snew much improved technology. Dr. Emil was very confident and I've also read only positive things, some doctors even claim that it's abettertool for scars than fully ablative lasers, and other devices.
Do grid marks disappear?
I also visited dr. Henningsen this week, he practiced the tca cross and the v beam pdl for me. next time I think I will also subcision with a cannula, in an area of the face where I have atrophy, with the filler. for the tca cross he advised me to apply an antibiotic cream 3 times a day until the crusts fall off, it is important for better results. In an area where I have superficial boxscars I have practiced 60% tca paint, and the doctor advised me to do a CO2 laser, I will consider whether to do it because I am afraid about it.

I visitedDr Emil in Denmark too back in July - had subcision with filler, tca cross and genius rf microneedling. Really wished i had gone to him sooner as i wasted alot of money on a cheapy dermatologist in London.
Those considering to visit Dr Emil - do it. He is very knowledgable has like 10+ years experience, very kind and compasionate!
if anyone has any questions feel free to ask or pm me x

Results are good so far - abit of a slow healer i am
Got abit ill 2 months after my treatment - lost alot of weight and abit of fat loss on face but overall im pleased. I did update him with pictures and any concerns he said 2nd treatment will be better and more results
honestly he is sooo kind, patient and really understanding.
i had previous subcisions in london 4x and no filler was done - wasted about £2000 but i really wish i had gone sooner to Dr Emil.
you can get cheap £12/£15 train tickets from Copenhagen airport to Odense - from the DSB train app - buy in advance and click on orange - cheaper option so u dont have to pay the full price of £40. Orange option which doesnt include cancellations/refund etc i usually get that works out cheaprr and buy another at a later time incase im running late but due to covid everything is easy at the airport and u dont need to print the train tickets u have the app to scan
