I have been unsuccessful in contacting Dr Emil for weeks.
I tried calling. Been on hold for 30minutes and then disconnected multiple times.
I sent numerous emails and get no response.
I booked an appointment and followed up with an email to ask whether i could have it online. No response.
I give up. Not sure if anyone else is in contact with him or can advise but i give up. Can only imagine what it would be like post-op
EDIT: All good. He must have just been overloaded. Looking forward to it

Thats great! Let us know how your results are in a few months
I dont know much about them doctors, Emil is the first acne scar specialist Ive been to. He seemed to be the only one recommended in Europe.
Its still toearly to tell but I do think some scars have softened and filled in a bit but I do have a a bit of swelling still in one area on my cheek.
I plan on going back in April for my next treatment.
Yes he has very good English.

Can I get by in Copenhagen with only English?
If ive already been to rullan, then is there any point in going to Dr Emil?
I just flew into Denmark last Thursday and had subcision and filler with Dr Henningsen.
Danish are my new favourite people! Very very friendly and happy. Everyone speaks English it seems @dirigo39
I stayed at the comfort hotel at the Copenhagen airport and took the train to odense the next morning. There is a direct train that goes hourly and takes about 2 hours. The clinic is 5 minute walk away from Odense train station. Used my phone to guide me like a real tourist.
Ive had my fair share of cosmetic procedures and I was really impressed with him. So glad that this community is alive and helping others. Without it I would not have known about him or alternative procedures.
Dr Henningsen as alot have already stated is kind, professional and very capable.
My thread is linked below but basically i had Kotor subcision treatment with filler for a surgical scar which took a few minutes. results are amazing!
In the same session we also agreed to subcide rolling acne scars on my left cheek. I had very localised but extensive atrophic scarring on the other cheek from cystic acne and the subcision done was quite aggressive as there was a "fortress" of fibrosis.
Only 2 days have passed but its like ive been hit with a hammer at the moment so im supposed to massage the filler up but its so swollen and mildy sore when i push on itso its hard to know whats underneath. Anyway ill reach out to the clinic tomorrow but my wife and daughters are amazed so so far this Dr is the goat. Again thanks to this community.

What kind of filler did you get ?
@Jason2121I didnt catch the name, only that it was a swiss made one. I think itsDermal fillers - Hyaluronic acid (be-ceuticals.com). Not 100% sure but ill find out. It can be extracted if necessary was one of the reasons for choosing it for my firstsubcision as well as understanding if it will behave and stay in the right places.
Swellings gone down but not gone so still hard to know how to massage the filler in the right place
Hi everyone, just wanted to give a quick update.
I had my second treatment with Dr Emil yesterday. He thinks I got about 30% improvement from my first treatment which Im happy about!
We did the same again for this treatment- cannula subcision, RFM and TCA cross.
I had a small lump on my cheek from my last treatment that I didnt really notice too much and just massaged whenever I thought of it.
He said it will go away its self over time.
hopefully I see more improvement this time as will prob be end of the year before I could go again.

Great! Upcoming Thursday I will be having my first online consultation with Emil Henningsen. I think it's the starting point of a professional scar revision journey!

Since when does he do online consultation ? He told me that he doesnt do that because he cant see the scars that way.

No idea since when he is doing that. I had to send photos of the scarring prior to the online consultation though. But I'm still very curious about how he is going to assess my scars, since it usually involves touching and stretching et cetera.

he said the same to me, i would love if he could travel and use another derms office. it would be worth his while if he could prebook 30+ treatments

I had an online consultation with him last Thursday. He assessed my scars via photos I sent prior to the meeting.

i saw him in person but it was pre covid, things have changed since then i guess
Photos doesnt replace real life but to be honest most users here know what scars they have already so its a good first step
