Stef, so glad to hear that your visit to dr.Emil was positive. He truly cares for his patients, it is my experience too. Really hope that your lumps will resolve with massaging.

I was a bit unreasonable in the past, maybe because of my pregnancy hormones, don't know :) What Sibel says, he's trying to help. He is not like other shady doctors who are in for the money. After three appointments there are improvements, but definitely room for more. Maybe I will visit him in the past my, but not anytime soon. First I want to spend all of my time (and money) with my children :)

Hey

I dont think there is a œstandard treatment combo or œpackages

every individual have different scarring which require different treatment plan

I have spent just over £1k on Genius RF microneedling, TCA cross, Subcision with filler with Dr Emil - however full price would be done after face to face consultation but i would take abit extra money just incase :) you can even see his work on instagram

He really is amazing and im really glad i went to visit him

How much improvement you got?

I would say 20/30% so far

i have had 2 sessions with him so far

TCA Cross

subcision with filler

and Genius rf microneedling

Looking to see him again soon 🙂

he hasnt pushed anythjng onto me or whatsoever

the Drs in London are soo bad!
I would rather spend a whole day going to see Dr Emil in Denmark than wasting my time, money and hope on someone else

as ive had very bad experience in London

Please remember you cant rush treatments... and results take time and you need to be patient - every person heals differently 🙂

wish u all the best in your treatment guys

Hey how are you

no worries im happy to help anyone as i have been thru hell with my skin and Drs in London too!
i have had

2x Subcision with filler - Cheeks and temples

2x TCA Cross - Cheeks, Temples and a few on forehead

2x Genius RF microneedling - Cheeks only

both times paid around £1,200 - treatment only!

flights/train tickets seperate - book in advance so u can save money!
did a 1 day trip so i dont have to spemd money on hotel as i cant afford much more - so can be abit tiring

yes i travelled 2x last year - his clinic will email you a letter of proof

however i think now you also need a negative covid test 24hr prior :)

please double check the rules/guidlines for denmark and your country :)

The DSB App i use to book my train ticket from Copenhagen airport to Odense - ticket is on the app so u dont need to print anything :)

E2E25F57-1033-4CD7-9477-BD1DD569AD0E.jpeg

Also forgot to add before seeing Dr emil

i had over 10+ dermapen treatments - No improvement

and had the following with a  Dr in London who did:

4x Subcision - done WITHOUT filler :(

(you NEED filler after subcision so scars dont re-tether)

4x tca cross - on ALL scars (which ruined my skin)

2x prp and 2x rf needling (random brand NOT genius)

which didnt help me or my skin at all hence me having to travel to Europe to Dr Emil

this is why i tell everyone becareful and this is why i would not trust any other Dr due to poor treatmentand knowledge

Hey thank you so much for all the information. I am really happy for you getting improvement with Dr Emil. 20-30% sounds great - slow but steady improvement 🙂  I wish you even more with the next treatments.

Did you have the HA filler as a spacer with subcision?

And I understand your treatment went well, no side effects?

Don't even start me on doctors in London. As I said a HUGE disappointment.

Thankfully Denmark is not so far away and we have the option to travel and visit Dr Emil!

Your welcome :)

yes i had filler both times even though he said on my second appt i dont need it but i said just add abit for my satisfaction lol

filler acts as a buffer between skin so scars dont re-attach

no side affects at all apart from redness and swelling which went down after 5-7 days - looked like a chipmunk with huge cheeks haha!
yes dont waste your time or money in London!!

Thanks for sharing your experience. Good to know! You are not the first who says subcision+ filler made the difference for them. You need the filler to prevent re-attachment as you say I guess.

There were some reports of lumps and swelling after the use of fillers but from what I have researched fillers are generally safe and these lumps extremely rare. Dr Drey made a video on the subject on YouTube recently and basically said we shouldn't worry and even if something happens the doctors have protocols and can manage this quickly with steroids or other meds.

Yes you can get lumps - but this is why Dr Emil asks/shows you to massage technique to massage your face 2x a day for 2 weeks to help prevent lumps etc - as long as you follow all his advice you will be fine :)

he also gives his number should there be any issues you can contact him directly via whatsapp :)

Personally would just go straight to Dr Emil - honestly best decision ever but London is in National Lockdown right now too :(

More info in regards to Dr Emil/Denmark

I hope this helps anyone in need

brought a return ticket from London to Copenhagen with British Airways

- i went with british airways as i know its a trusted airline unlike the cheap unreliable ones :) - book in advance if u can (cheaper tickets)

- DSB Train app from - Copenhagen Airport to Odense St - the clinic is about a 10mins walk from the station :) i just walked super fast lol as i had to walk to clinic, get treatment and catch the train bk to the airport in time for my flight haha!!! Train journey is about 90 minutes -

- i booked Dr Emil via Email - see pic below - i did email pics before hand so i could get a rough estimate how long my appt will last and what treatment/and cost it will be

also double check what location of clinic you book at depending on what day u will visit i think he works in his other locations too - please double check  - i always go to Odense :) and also calculate train jouney time and treatment time and walking time to the clinic and back from Odense station

the train station is inside the airport  - so u wont have any issues going or coming back, everyone is super kind in airport too :)

Cutis Clinic email below -

533E8954-E138-41A1-9120-85D8B72E44E4.png

Here are the station - CPH  Lufthavn is - Copenhagen Airport and Odense St is where the clinic is (10min walk)

also if u book train tickets few weeks im advance u can click on œorange ticket less than half the usual price! - but u cant cancel or exchange the train ticket hence why its soo cheap! i usally get 2x tickets to Odense and 2x back incase im running late :) so can use either and it works out cheaper!!

some trains are direct and some you have to change at Copenhagen Central station - usually a 5/10min wait and 2/3 min walk to the next platform - which is good :)

i prefer to do a day trip - save money from booking a hotel etc

the clinic can issue you a letter for the aiport should you require one etc - (covid travel restrictions)

Also Dr Emil is fluent in English so you all have nothing to worry about - even check out his clinic page on fb if you are unsure - he has over 10 years experience and check his work out :) you will honestly be in safe hands, wish i went to him sooner than wasting over £2,000 on London Dr™s with no results!

hope all this helps

good luck :)

I got emailed the clinic dates and the prices of Dr Charakida once and there was subcision listed (for abt £100-130), fillers as well (for abt £200-300), but not both together. You can ask though via email. Charakida is probably a good doctor but I am not sure what experience she has treating scars. At least Emil has seen lots of scar patients and had experience and a certain routine treating scars.

Thanks for the info 🙂 much appreciated.

no i am not talking about lumps immediately after the filler shot, but later, if let's say you get a cold or a vaccine shot, your filler might get affected somehow abd get red and swollen, as can your lips. It's what Dr Lim was talking about in a recent post, and what some people here have experienced in the US. But I guess it is rare and easily manageable if it occurs.

Yeah, I hear you! I want to avoid this "doctor shopping" and save my time and money by going to the best. Dr Emil seems very ambitious and seems like he takes pride in his work and gives his best so that people get results!

In London I only got unnecessary consultations so far (despite my better judgement I should say)  but you know how it is. Even if something sounds too good to be true you want to check it out and get rid / or at least improve your scars.

Hey guys forgot to add that i also use the Quasar MD Red LED Device - i brought this a few years ago after hearing Hude Beauty rave on about it on youtube - didnt use it till last year and this has also helped contribute to my Healing

i use it 5x a week for 2 months then 1/2x a week after 2 months

As i am Asian, Dr Emil did mention he thought I wouldnt heal as well as i did - so I remebered i have been using this led light -and reccomended me to carry on using it :)

A512B170-275B-42E6-81E1-D03D6CCE02EF.png

the device helps build collagen, and HELPS in reducing fine lines and wrinkles too

i usually cleanse, tone, apply a serum (Buffet from the Ordinary, Niacinamide, Retinol etc) then use this 3 mins on each of my cheek/temples and 3 mins on forehead (9mins total)

Then complete the rest of my daily skincare routine - hyaluronic acid, alpha arbutin, moisturiser and spf or rosehip seed oil etc

you can read the reviews yourself on google for this and i highly reccomend it - pricey but u get a LiFETIME warrenty :) - speaks volumes when a company does that

Yes, i received both of them. Tca cross (85%) is best for deep untetheredscars, while tca paint (60%) is best for boxscars edges

Dr Emil has the same treatment plan for everybody a few subcisions with fillersubcicion with Genius. Tailormade is something else. Instead of helping the filler often causes problems and you need to go back to get it removed. People who write good reviews never post photos. Manywrite one good review and disappear. Many write when they first start treatment and are still excited. He is disinterested, lazy and doesn't do his job. Stay away.

I posted a photo before.I visited Emil 4 times. He hadtailored approach with me. First cannula Sub with the filler for all the scars, then cannula Sub for several big scars to repeat and miniSub with tunnelling under each scar, then more canSub with the filler, then erbium laser on the edges of the 14 scars(edges marked by me) with some Subs. The filler did not cause problems b3cause of small amounts as the buffer and not to fill in the area.
Wanted to repeat the edges and go on with Genius. Due to the virus had to stop. So do the edges at home with tca paint(heals longer) and found the provider for Genius in my country. Plan to go back to Emil for more miniSubs with the filler+Genius. To find a Dr who does all the scars without missing(because I show him and we work together and no annoyment)without pushing his way is almost impossible. And after all it is the only route for the atrophic scars- first you have to undermine them with Sub(1-3times) and then all other treatments. There is no point treating the teathered scar with superficial procedures.

Everybodys skin is different, every scar is different, every scar or the scared area has to be treated differently, everyone heals differently..

First you try to lift the bottom of the scar(Sub/filler),then you try to flatten the edges(tca cross/paint/laser),then to improve the overall texture(laser/genius/mnd).
