BA i understand every thing u said we're all different or had some bad experience or poor healers or whatever etc... What i'm trying to know what is her perspective on this matter? Since she's been treating with one of the best dr's in the world how much improvement did she got? It's just feels like so exhausting and frustrating going through all these treatments and still not get the results that she wants there is an improvement that's the good thing but what is ur overall opinion on treating with davin and rullan and how much improvement did she got from them?

I™ve gotten good results from both doctors, definitely my scars have improved by over 40% I™d say. It™s hard to put a number on it. With my scars, there™s a lot of things you can™t see with my scars, ie the fibrosis.

It is exhausting and it is a lot of money. If someone had told me three years ago I would still be treating my scars to this day, I would have laughed. I have extremely severe scars and unfortunately I™m not a lot of people here who have mild or moderate scarring.

With that being said, I got filler the other day and like the results.

Dr rullan and dr Lim also aren™t miracle workers. They do excellent work and really know acne scars but so much of it is out of their hands, ie healing.

I typically show my face in the harshest of lighting just to add and just after treatment when my face is the worst. I™m not a poor healer, these things just take time. I need to take more œnormal pics so people actually see the difference and weeks in between. I just want to be real with everyone here.

Thank you :)

I don't like this 'poor healer' term. We are all poor healers then as we all have acne scars

And with severe scars, results take a lot of time. You have to be very patient.

Last week I had filler and TCA done by dr Ben Behnam.

With the financial stress of doing this so frequently and maybe not letting my skin heal as it should, I think I am going to follow @beautifulambitions advice and go back to treating every 3 months. I feel like because of my scars being so severe I need to treat frequently and get results as quickly as possible. But all of this is getting too much.

I will schedule an appointment with dr rullan for mid-late November*and focus on more self-acceptance.

Maybe it is just me, but I don't think your scars are severe.

Maybe it sounds silly, but my 'hobby' is now my hair. I have kinda curly, frizzy and dry hair. So I started with the curly girl method which I really like to follow. My hair now is beautiful and I really like to focus nowadays on my hair and products that make my hair nice and curly :)

This is just a example how to focus on something else. I'm sure that you find something too :)

I also think, you do not have severe scarring. your scars are mainly on one cheek. you look fine, really.

Good luck :)

Thank you for the messages, they help a lot. Im booking an appointment for the 21st of November with Dr Rullan, Im looking forward to it. Im not sure if I should book a hotel for a couple of nights or come straight back to LA but I will be taking some time off work to heal.

As far as taking my mind off things, Im going to join the gym and focus on good thoughts.

Its only a 2.5 hour drive unless youre leaving Rullans office later in the day. Traffic back to L.A. about 4 hours. I wouldnt book more than one night if you dont want to drive in traffic.

Join L.A. Fitness! Good gym and great way to keep yourself busy and healthy.

Yeah I might stay a night or two because you look very scary post procedure and Ill regret it if I drive to LA like that lol. And will do! Definitely want to keep busy and take my mind off this as much as possible.

for anyone reading here and considering Dr Rullan, prices have gone up. Instead of 1,000 for microneedling, subcision and TCA it is now 1,500 and will be increasing further to 1,750 USD by the beginning of next year I believe or the end of this year.

I will still be aiming for a November 21st appointment

He said the reason why he used CO2 core instead of ultrapulse is simple: ultrapulse is far more aggressive, uses more energy and isnt his FIRST choice unless the scars are severe enough.

i havent read full thread yet so apologies if this is answered later but im confused...was co2 core used or ultra pulse?

CO2 core primarily and once with ultra pulse

Ive been following your thread since the beginning. All i can say is your scars have healed immensely from these pictures alone.

Add to that you have a beautiful pair of eyes. All in all, i do not think people will notice your scars when they look at you and spend time with you. Because they are not that noticeable. Once the scar issue is not that dominant, which in your case they are not, what will come forward is your personality and personal hygiene etc. You look like someone who takes care of herself, therefore enjoy life :)

Have a fun drive to Chula Vista :D

I left LA at 6:30 in the morning was pretty tired by the time of my appointment. ty!

From what I™ve been reading, it seems a lot of us have seen him here in the past week!

So I visited Dr Rullan on Thursday and everything went well. He did phenol cross, subcision and erbium laser resurfacing on my two cheeks. I™m not sure if I should go to work on Monday or take more time off. Dr Rullan said I should come in again for subcision and filler, however I™m unsure as I asked the nurse for the cost and she said subcision alone  was $1250. I feel like Dr Rullan is really good at what he does but that™s a little steep for me. Filler is approx 500 USD depending on what™s used so I would be looking at nearly 1800 USD for sub and filler

This time I paid 1500 USD for the trio treatment and I know prices are increasing even further. I am still contemplating the full face phenol peel at some stage and for the time being have decided against punch excision (I know I had mentioned it here as something I was interested in). I know it™s a little soon to be thinking of what™s next but I like to plan and see what™s possible especially because things are getting more expensive and I need to plan ahead. I might get filler before Christmas

Right now I™m obviously very scary looking but nothing out of the ordinary. I  will attach a photo... right after the three treatments and today.
