Try to "glide" the cup over the treated area while you're pumping the handle. You're always moving the cup as if you're using the Derminator. Sometimes, you can move the cup just after the first pump. The goal here is to go over the same area multiple times instead of leaving the cup stationary. This way, you avoid coming down with nasty red circles from hematoma, which can last for days on end.
I don't know if your the one who PM'd me how to do it, I answered three PMs today on how to do suction. haha.
I don't agree with gliding bit above 😉 You rest the suction for several seconds over the scars to create blood flow to the area. Hematoma under the skin. this is the goal a under skin Hematoma to "fill" the tissues with your own skin. Rings from cupping go away and probably mean the suction was to much for that spot.
" You will continue this 8 times a day for 4 seconds, you can also do it 3 times a day (3 sets a timeof 15 seconds, or however long you can stand it). Overlap to cover the area. "
If you get any raised bumps, stop everything immediately, massage the area, and use ice, or a antihistamine like Benadryl, no harsh soaps or scrubs, you can continue when the skin is not raised again. Do less suction (with less force) to avoid over stimulating the area in this case only. If your susceptible to Keloids (raised scars- very rare) then have the Drdo dilute steroid injections.
Please look at the FAQ - top of the acne scar sub, and goto the subcision section, there is instructions in there.
