So this morning i went to a md to ask for subcision and filler. He said that that method is great for individual scars, not for a bunch together. My skin have a bumpy apearance due to the scars and he said that sub plus filler is not the way to go.
My best bet would be fractional co2 (surprisingly..) and that radiofrequentie wouldn't work on my scars. I'm a bit confused... I thought that they do the same thing?
Please get multiple consults to get a idea. They can see your scars in person when I cannot. They have you animate (smile), feel the scars, use indirect lighting, take a full background.
Infini rf / microneedling is great for box cars.
There are several ways to do scar revision, the ones I offer are either for DIY (save those with no money a bit) or things I know work with less side effects. Laser can work for some people.
There is something called full face subcision. Using the Taylor Liberator, it's supper expensive (Novick can do this by hand without the instrument, if anything its for plastics to have another tool). Novick in Israel (you ask for email) should be bale to help you with just peels and filler injections (instead of individual scars, he would augment your cheeks to spread the filler around, .... pull back your cheeks from your temples and see how it looks.
If they are saying laser is better and not to do Infini, they think you have textural issues and thus they would use laser or they don't own RF miconeedling and want to use laser instead. If you feel it's a textural issue, the best thing you can do is several medium strength tca peels (even med spas or Novick do these) or a deep dermis sedated TCA peel from a Dr.
Novick can subcise and do all this. He is VERRY experienced and does not use energy devices.
If you want to start now, goto a med spa and get a medium strength TCA peel while your waiting for his consult, even if he wants to peel again, it will be fine once your healed up.
He also said chemical peels don't help. Only the phenol somewhat.
On Davin Lim his site he says that the fractional lasers are kinda history and they are replaced by rf needling.... Maybe i should just try this?
I also emailed dr Novick, maybe i will visit him for just some ideas. Right know i still touch in the dark.
Phenol is like a very deep TCA and is sedated. IF he says somewhat he means you need a few and is being cautious. I feel you need filler as well.
I want your to contact Dr. Taylor Cost is $3000 for the above and he is in Utah (this is a mega treatment - I am not sure how your body would do "healing" with a tca peel, strong subcision, laser, and prp all in one session ... many would need 2-3 of them $7-10k plus travel expenses). You might contact his office, see if they sell this tool to anyone in Europe who is a Plastic Surgeon. [Edited link out]
Infini is great but your scar type is textural and widespread, ... treatments have to fit the scar type. Fractional laser is not dead nor is Erbium profractional which dr Emil Denmark could resurface your skin down to the dermis (like deep peels). Did you consult with him?

No, i didn't consult with him. Will do that first 🙂
@JohnRottenSkinYou were contacting Plastic Surgeons in Korea, ... they know how to do full face subcision and are the most technically forward in the world. When you do that many things expect down time, and the body does not heal instantly, lots of swelling, you can space out these treatments. But for someone in a time crunch maybe a good idea with the $$$$ $7-10K. Most people can get treated for way under that and have time to heal.
