I have been struggling with bad acne scarring on my cheek and temple area for multiple years now and it has been really frustrating. I went to a clinic in my area and had 3 treatments done(they call it some sort of 3D treatment) but the effect has been minimal, 10 percent at best, and it was really costly. So I'm wondering what types of treatment is best for my type of scarring? I did a little bit of research on subcision and ablative erbium laser and saw some good reviews. Personally I just want something immediately effective and have noticeable results after just 1 or 2 treatments. thanks!20496292_1437760962971235_1742977773_n.jpg20471931_1437762822971049_922083399_n.jpg

There is nothing "immediately effective," only needing 1 or 2 treatments. Scars are a long journey, and treatments have down time. The average person is doing treatments over 2 or 3 years depending on the amount of time they have to dedicate. Collegen takes 90 days to take effect and, you only get minimal improvements with multiple treatments (progressively). The biggest issue I see with your skin is surface box cars and PIE. You need a few tca acid peels for the surface texture. The red is also a issue. This is treated with V-beam, IPL, Excel V, or 1064nm laser for the redness only. I would do tca peels found at a dr, med spa. For more info on TCA peels read the faq - top post of the scar sub, then goto the TCA section and click the link all things peels.
