Hey guys,

I struggled with acne temporarily after having my kids. I never suffered with acne as a teen and was devastated to have to deal with this in my 20's, I am now 30 and now realized how much these scars affect me. I don't even know where to start. I included a pic in the absolute worst lighting possible. I used to have beautiful skin, and now, that seems like an impossibility. I ordered a derma stamp and iam waiting for it to arrive, iam still not exactly sure what kind of scarring I have. I would appreciate any help!!

More pics from the opposite cheek, all scarring is isolated to my cheeks.

My acne is now under control, and I am no longer having cystic acne, which is what I struggled with. Here is what my skin looks like with make up and in not as harsh lighting.

You have beautiful skin!!! |::) And are beautiful in general! Try not to worry, most marks will fade with time even if you do nothing.

micro needling should help with scars, from licensed esthetion only! don't try to order from Amazon like I did, it's all junk! you can ruin your skin for sure. Lactic acid in buttermilk/kefir should do good for scars it's very gentle bleach. I applied buttermilk like a mask and put a food plastic wrap over a mask for 15-30min.

I agree with Delovely, I don't see a issue, most of the people would be so happy to have skin like yours, we our our own worst critics. For the minor skin texture issues do a TCA peel with a esthetion . I see a bit of redness ( this is not a scar) which is PIE. For a explanation of what this is and treatments please read the faq in the signature below (link), goto the skin section, and PIE.

Thank you all for the response. The first picture I posted, which is my right cheek definitely has a few indentations though.... I would think you can see that right?? That's what iam most concerned about, I hope I can fix it.

The problem is the pictures you posted did not convey the scars were indented. It's best to use a flashlight and show the shadows they make to do this. Ask your dermatologist about subcision this is the treatment for indented scars.
