Definitely see an improvement, congrats
To answer your question...I would say that my improvement would be 85%~90% overall. My scars were in the area of my chin and smile lines, and they were shallow to begin with very much like yours are. Some of the more shallow scars were completely eradicated after just 6 months, while two more stubborn ones took over a year.
I was/am dermaneedling for many different reasons: facial rejuvenation, fine lines, small acne scars, and texture issues too. Most of these issues (except acne scars/fine lines) came about after undergoing laser treatments. Laser went wrong and I had orange peel skin texture and half my forehead had hyperpigmentation. I can say that my skin tone has gotten a lot better...I had a half dollar size brown circle on my forehead that is no longer there. It was awful, it looked like someone rubbed mud all over my forehead and it dried there! I even had 2 people try to wipe it off!! Yeah, some people are just jackasses! Hydroquinone helped somewhat but it always came back! Even layers of Dermablend didn't cover it. But it's gone now, woohoo! Most of my fine lines are filled in now except for an expression line on my forehead. My skin texture still needs work, but has benefited from CIT.
I will say this though, I needle very aggressively. I go through a series of skin changes every time I needle. But I don't panic because I did my research and I knew what to expect. While needling I bleed quite a bit. I'm a tad swollen afterwards (visually not just microscopically) and redness persists for 10-14 days. Then I get a rough and bumpy texture that is a histamine reaction. Next, I get flaky, dry and experience a bit of peeling. During all of this, I am very gentle with my skin and use non-acidic Vitamin A & C and other collagen promoting products as per guidelines set by the inventor, Dr. Des Fernandes.
The last time I needled was on October 2nd and I'm still "healing." I think it's important to wait the recommended timeframe between treatments because you don't want to overdo it and disrupt the process.
Now you are without a doubt showing improvement!! Be careful with comparisons in different lighting though as it can be deceptive! I'm excited for you because I can tell that your skin is responding positively to this treatment and I know you will be very happy with the results. Isn't it great to find something that works for you that you're in control of? It's freeing and self empowering in a way!!!
Omg...Sorry for the long rant!!
Its worth a try I have some boxcars and have seen improvement I have done three sessions myself

I think it helps with any type of scarring. Definitely boxscars, thats what I had! I see Princessuk has a few boxscars responding well. However, to attack tethered scars and deeper ones I would do subcision and suction before needling to make the biggest difference.
