Hi,
I've been using Apple cider vinger on it's own for about 5 days now and it has worked wonders. After I read this I used baking soda/power before so the skin is neutralised as that obv sounds important. I also used the egg white mask and my skin feels great. However, I doubt I will use the mask everyday as I feel bad about wasting so much of an egg, especially the poor yolk lol
And I believe the apple cider vineger should stay on all night because it needs time to work. You really can see a difference the next day. The first few days I got a couple more white heads but they soon cleared up and the red markl left behind is soo much smaller and not an angry as they normally would be without using it.
I've also read that baking soda helps eczema and the itching, so those of you who have that give it a try and see if it works for you
I HAVE MANY RED MARKS..LEFT AFTER ACNE...I WANT TO TRY THIS...
HOW CAN I APPLY THE ACV? ONLY ON THE RED MARKS?
HOW ABOUT THE BAKING SODA? ALSO ON THE RED MARKS ONLY?
AND HOW CAN I MAKE A MASK LIKE THAT? PLS GIVE ME THE INSTRUCTIONS OF ALL OF THIS....
THIS MAKES ME FEEL SO DEPRESSED....IT'S LIKE UR IN HELL...IT REALLY DESTROYS MY LIFE..ACNE DESTROYS MY LIFE...
*moderator edit*
IT MAKES ME OVERTHINK......IT PIERCES MY HEART LIKE HELL..
I PITY MYSELF
IT'S LIKE I'M DYING BUT STILL ALIVE..... PLS HELP ME...IF ANYBODY OUT THERE.......
DELNA, IF THIS WORKS, I PROMISE THAT I WILL NEVER FORGET U AND NO WORDS CAN EXPRESS HOW GRATEFUL I AM.....
Ive spent most of my morning reading the majority of these 98 pages
I've been using ACV for a while now (2-3 months). I can't make up my mind on whether its helping or not. Some days it looks like its fading marks, other times is appears to do bugger all. But I'll keep perservering with it.
I had a bash with the baking soda shit, tried it for a couple of weeks but literally did nothing so I gave up.
I think my last resort now is the egg white mask. I think it's pretty much the last available method that I havent tried yet, so tonight is the moment of truth I guess...
Starting this today.. have a lot of red marks (15-20 on each side) from the past 3 months of breaking out with cysts and big whiteheads.. still have a few healing pimples which had been popped and one or 2 big whiteheads.. will post some pictures every couple days.. hope this works summer starts in a week and i would love to go back to school clear of acne and red marks
I went out and bought all the ingredients yesterday, did all the steps plus a 30% glycolic peel (advanced home actives) and literally I didn't believe how much better my skin looks this morning. Full disclaimer, I also use Finacea (I have a prescription) and Mario Badescu's Skin Renewal Complex, but I've been using those for months and haven't seen results anywhere close to this level. I will continue to use this regimen and do the other 3 glycolic peels in the package I have. After that I think I'll try a salicylic acid peel. THANK YOU.
been doing this for four days.. i also have been swimming.. after i get out of the pool my red marks are very noticeable for the rest of the day but when i wake up every morning i seem to notice a little improvement from the morning before with my red marks.. seems it will probably take a few weeks for major improvement but so far it has been working pretty good.. i dont use any BP.. and i use aveeno clear complexion mosturizer
can those that are doing this answer a couple of questions for me. Lately I have been getting these welt like bumps on my jawline. They dont seem cystic but are slightly raised and red. I often wake up to these slightly raised spots on the sides of my face as well. They are not big but take forever to fade. I have tried applying many things as a spot treatment cause I cant stand looking at them in the mirror. I have this drying sal acid paste by clean and clear that i apply to a q-tip but it does squat for it. I have tried a sulfur paste and lastly and most recently an aspirin/water paste. Last night I added some honey to try to decrease the swelling and redness. The aspirin helped a little but some marks that looked like they were clearing are red again today even though I applied nothing to them. Bottom line: What kind of paste can be mixed together and left on over night to spot treat some marks? Also, is lemon juice for the redness and ACV for redness? I just did a Sal Acid peel in the derms office on monday and I swear it made my red marks look more pronounced...

hi. Let me first answer by saying I am in the same exact situation. I would really advise you to just follow these 8 steps given by delna as they did help me, a lot. I advise you to avoid experimenting with your skin with so many combinations as they do more harm than good. Also, you have to stick to particular treatment for atleast a month to really make the most of it.
I advise you to strictly follow this regimen. Use only your acne cream for those red bumps. Avoid baking soda on this bumps.
Drink lots of water, eat lots of apples and raisins. Try to have a clean and good diet and healthy lifestyle for a month with a positive attitude! and i guarantee you, you will start losing the marks.
I follow delna's regimen exactly and red marks are fading slowly away. Just have red bumps on my chin because of shaving.
I tried the eggwhite mask just minutes ago, and when i washed it off it seemed to have pulled a lot of gunk inside the tiny bumps i have on my cheeks further to the surface, the same with a few tiny whiteheads that seemed way more visible after taking off the mask. Hopefully they'll calm down a bit over night.
I'm interested in trying this out for at least a week to see what happens
I tried this regimen, but then switched to manuka honey, indian healing clay and lemon juice (drink + apply to red spots) and found it more effective against red marks. But this one works too. Just be very careful with the amount of soda, better use less than more, because it broke me out pretty badly when I used more than I should have.

I won't use soda at all , I can't exfoliate while on accutane but ill do the rest:D
This topic is going down and it has 1974 posts , it would be great if it would had 2000 ,don't let it go away
You've probably been asked this a million times, but I couldn't find the answer. My question: does this regimen work on dark spots as well? My skin tone is medium olive. Thank you
It does for me. I started last week, it is even fading the sun spots a little. I also have used obagi blender in the past, it mixes with retin a.
I do the bs and acv evey other day, and the mask every day. NO bp at all, just b5 and L-cysteine.
Olive skin, italian
Post#42 also mentions this works well with b5
Would this work whilst on accutane? Or would you advise against it? How well would you say itll work on my face.

Andrew right above at post 1975, says you can't exfoliate while on accutune, so skip that part, try the rest and see what happens.
