Is it okay to use the egg mask EVERY DAY? I've read on some other sites that you should only do it once a week, then some said every other day, and now I'm just confused.

Will it HURT to use it every day?

Thank you. ^^

I've used it once already and it made my skin WAY less oily, plus made it soft. ^^

Hey there..

I was on Delna's regimen for a week few days back.. There was definite improvement in my skin texture n marks.. But it wasnt helping much with my acne as I wasnt on any medications then.. Soon after i visited a Derm and 15 days on the medications my face was almost clear.. So i decided to try this regimen again for the sake of marks..

I have been on it for 3 days now.. I'm not applying the mask though.. Just BS and ACV/water(1:8).. My skin looks really good now.. I'm very happy with this stuff..

Thanxxx a lot Delna for sharing this!!

I agree with you but only about the way this treatment is making my skin feels like cause i have been using it for not even two days so cant really say something about the effect on pimples.

I am using the eggmask at night and the BS and ACV in the morning and my skin really does feel so smooth. It's hard to believe that something this easy and natural is helping! Dont you guys love the way your skin feels after using BS?

I hope I will get some improvement in a few weeks

Hey there,

I used this for few days.. And then stopped using it.. Due to my laziness.. Actually in between got few acne back.. so didn't use then.. I like to use only the medication on acne coz other things just mess it up for me.. Might start this again may be after a week or so.. I think clearing marks with this is a slow process... but it does work.. problem is I keep getting acne after some gap.. so I am unable to do it in a long run... hope u get good results..

WOW! thank you so much for posting this. i only have been using it for two days, but i'm seeing amazing results. my skin is glowing, and there is almost no redness at all! i love the egg mask, both the way it makes my skin look and the way it feels when it's drying on my skin. i think the baking soda is working, but i'm just not seeing that fast of results-- was i supposed to wait however many minutes or wash it off immediately? i washed it off immediately, but i'm wondering if it's working or not... i haven't tried the vinegar yet, but that's just because it's in this realllly high cabinet in my kitchen and i'm sort of afraid to climb up there and get it, haha!

ok, so i've read basically EVERY post on this and i actually tried the baking soda and egg white mask tonight. My skin felt great after, and i understand this is just the first time, but the marks were still there....i just wanted to ask how long, if any knows, before you start to see some improvement for using this. My plan for a regimen is this:

Morning

Johnson's head to toe baby wash (cleanser)

baking soda

cetaphil moisturizing cream

Night

Johnson's head to toe baby wash (cleanser)

egg white mask

retin a 0.1%

I'm also on tetracyclines, soooo is this okay? seems like this post was abandoned...

Leave your acne cream on till morning. For the baking soda, I put a liberal amount of baking soda in a small cup and add very small amounts of water little by little. Make sure its a thick paste so that it doesn't slide off your face easily. Don't leave it on for too long because when you wwash it off get ready to punch something, especially if your using hot water. XD have fun...

Do you think this method is suitable if I just got off Accutane.

I stopped nearly 2 weeks ago, and was on it for around about 2 months.

I stopped because it seemed to slow down the healing of hyperpigmentation.

I didn't have active acne for weeks while using it. It just cleared me up.

Delna,

Hello I'm new to this Blogging thing and I just started doing the Regimen. I was always using all this over the counter stuff and it wasn't working for me. But anyways my ? is about the acv you say not to used a lot and use 1:8 or less, I need to know how much is this like in teaspoon and sorry for that ? it may sound dumb. And can I start this even though I just started with the dan's regimen. My skin is oily and i have cyst on my chin with dark spots all around my chin. When I started the Regimen my cyst has gotten better but I want to remove my spots.

My regimen in the morning and night.

Cetaphil gentle cleansing bar

Neutrogena on the Spot BP

Cetaphil moisturizer with out spf

Thanks,

Mickey

im a newbie here.. im cleared up already..about 98% b4 i discoverd this site. now my pRoblem is the aftermath, i mean acne scars.. dan's regimen is good. almost the same with mine though i didnt bother using such moisturizer.. i end up very flaky most of the times..LOL. i've been using the BP for years now..i do cleansing and BP only day and night, No supplements or oral med., guyS you must trust the BP cause it works..just put on the secret ingredient which is TIME. have patience particularly at times when you feel that the regimen is not working... sorry for my grammar if something wrong. No good in english folks.

Does this work on fixing your overall facial skin color? I've noticed that the red marks become more whitened and thereby disappearing. But does it help with the skin color?

And do you guys maybe have a link to a online store, that ships to Denmark? I just wanna be sure I buy the right product...

I started the baking soda and apple cider vinegar regimen last night.

I did it this morning and noticed more breakouts...but really, they look like stuff surfacing from deep clogged pores. (I've got 50million clogged pores on my face :(. )

WILL SOMEONE TELL ME IF THEY BROKE OUT BEFORE THEY GOT BETTER (CLEAR)?

So initially, I did stink but that smell does not last more than an hour.

I suggest you wake a little early and do this regimen so you don't smell when you walk out the door.

the breakouts could be from exfoliating too much,

i just started last night and am not expecting any miracles because my marks and hyperpigmentation are really bad

interestingly enough though one of the marks that ive had for about 4 or 5 months seems to be coming to the surface and i can feel it, not sure what this means hopefully its a good thing

I am so glad i found this post and tried it. I have been following the routine for over 2 weeks and found it has improved both my scars and my acne. My acne was mostly under control through diet & supplements with occasional breakouts, but this has eliminated the last bits completely.

At first it bought some pimples to the surface, but they dried up and healed really quickly. I just can't believe how smooth and toned my skin looks, def worth the effort!

"Careline Emu oil cream" with jojoba oil, vitamin-e, squarlene and emu oil works like a gem for red marks. Just ebay it :)

Hi there!

First I have to say that Delna's routine seems like it works (haven't tried it yet). I read up online that for cystic pimples (the kind I think I have lol..I have bumps that are red usually, hurt sometimes when I touch/press down on them. They rarely form to a whitehead or something, just the bump and red) apple cider vinegar was good. Soak a cotton ball w/ ACV on the spot/bump for 10 minutes min and then leave it be after. I've been doing this for the last week or so & it seems to be wking. Basically it dries up the area (initially after the soak it looks like a white rim is around the area, but that goes away) and then forms a scab and then heals or comes off when you wash your face lol. So, I agree that ACV is good in this routine.

I don't have alot of pimples, my area is my chin (those bumps; not alot, then blk heads; on my nose too, whiteheads) but nothing major major, but I do have scars from previous pimples that have popped on their own or...due to me popping them. Sometimes I do get a pimple around my nose or forehead, but that doesn't happen often. Mainly my chin area.

I will try the baking soda exfoliant along with the ACV (on all my face & wash it off after 10 mins as you said). I will hold off on the mask (eventhough it does sound amazing lol). The cleanser I use to wash my face is Neutrogenas "Deep Clean Cream Cleanser" wks fine for me, doesn't dry me out or anything (it contains 2% S Acid). For my moisterizer I use Neutragens "Oil Free Moust For Combination Skin" is fine. So I'd use those in combination to your routine. I've tried Benzol Peroxide products before, but it's dried my face out really bad lol. I tried ProActive bk in the days didn't work for me, recently I tried AcneFree which contains Bperoxide & it dried my face out in the affected spots plus everywhere else so I discontinued. S Acid is best for me from what I've tried.

My question is...once (if) my scars let up :) and/or go away completely, am I able to continue the routine, lets say:

AM- Cleanse w/ neutras wash, baking soda scrub (wash off), ACV (wash off after 10 mins), (possibly get what you use- neutras OTSpot stuff or not use anything at all?) then moisterizer to end.

PM- Cleanser w/ neutras wash, apply a acne med/topical stuff (was thinking of buying neutraginas moisterizer that has .5% S Acid in it? for entire face) then go to sleep.

Let me know if that would work, basically continue the ingredients even after the initial and end results.

Thanks in advance Delna! =)
