Ive been doing this regime for months now...at first it really helped, however a couple weeks ago ive noticed that i started getting little flesh colored bumps all over my cheeks. not inflammed or anything, but still they are there. i must have like 100 of them! im definitely thinking it has somehting to do with this regime cause ive NEVER had these before! i think the baking soda is clogging my pores causing the bumps (closed comedones) ANYONE KNOW HOW TO GET RID OF THESE!?! or has had this problem too???

burns like pkiller said, and thats probably because the strength of that vinegar acid or whatever is quite strong.

I just starting using the baking soda and vinegar system this morning. But, last night I used the egg white/lemon mask for the first time and I have to say I'm quite impressed. Not so much that it's helped my red marks yet (--crosses fingers--), but for what it's done for my pores. Like most people who've had acne, I have those deep pores around my nose and inner cheeks. Well, I can't say that anymore. After using the mask, they're practically invisible. This is a hell of lot cheaper than those Biore strips. Not to mention it works alot better.

I just thought I'd give my own update to anyone considering using this routine. I've been using the BS/ACV for 3 days now and the protein mask for 4 days. The first couple of days, I woke up and as usual, my red marks were clearer but as the day wore on they gradually became redder and redder. Everybody knows how that goes. You wake up and think, "Oh wow, they're going away!" But they always come back by midday. Well, today I woke up and realized that my face looked a lot different. For one thing, the worst of my red marks are on the left side of my face. Well, this morning, there was a huge clear gap in the middle of all the red spots on the left side of my face -- half of them weren't even there anymore! I turn to my right side and the red marks that were there are almost completely faded away! So I'm thinking to myself, "Okay, they'll be back sometime today." But nope. I can't believe it but my face has stayed clear all day! And everyone notices it! The ACV has done wonders with the toning aspect. Someone actually said it looked like my face was glowing today (they meant it as a compliment). If this keeps working, I'm in some serious gratitude to the acne.org message boards.

I tried it months ago.. Did it religiously for 1mth+. Didn't fade any red marks away. But the egg mask is good for tightening pores. That's abt it.

i was thinking that to, baking soda is not gonna fade red marks, i dont even know why exactly you want to use it, your making your skin alkaline and then acidic to neutralize it, when really you want your skin to be about ph 5.5, slightly less than neutral

I shouldnt use 2.5% Benzoyl peroxide to spot treat right, cause that doesnt help redmarks?

Thanks so much

hey

this regime isnt fast to do but i might give it a try. I was wondering if it would work for other parts of my body. The lower part of my legs have all these red spots (from in grown hair - appartnely from using one of those electrical devices like braun) anyway i used that about two years and realized although my legs were less hairy they had all these red marks on them so i stopped - problem is the red marks have not faded - would this work on that area too or would i need something much stronger. my skin coloring is middle eastern and hence i have hyperpigmentation problems. for example -a burn mark will stay with for the rest of my life but its a really light pink - barely noticable.

My face has alot of red marks that take a very long time to go away.

advice anyone?

tali

I'm gonna try this. Is it the ACV that gets rid of the red marks or the egg white mask?

Finally - someone who is having the same problem as me!!! Unfortunately, I don't know how to fix the problem b/c I don't know what the real problem is either. I also had great results with the regimine for the first few months, and now i have a million tiny bumps on my cheeks and a few on my forehead. If i stop following the regimine, my face breaks out - so GRRRR! :wall: I made an appointment with a dermatologist but they didnt have any appointments available until August. If you find out any information on how to get rid of these stupid bumps - please please please let me know!!

Quick question: I am new on the baking soda/vinegar treatments. I don't have any AC vinegar...all I have is white wine vinegar...will that work instead? has anyone tried it? thanks!!
