I was out of town all week end so I could not do Delna's stuff! sad.gif but when I came home last night I did the night-time thing and thes morning my skin was a lot better so for me if I lay off my face and then do thes it helps. My red marks are a lot better (I just found out that some of my red marks are not red marks, but small flat zits! They might turn into red marks I hope not!)

Good luck to everyone!

hmmm, what do you guys think about combining this regimen with glycolic acid peels as well? Is it too much you think, or do you get diminishing returns or something? Anyways, thanks in advance for any replies!

Can someone please help me. Im going to be going to school here soon, and I wont have time to do either the egg mask, or the Baking Soda vinegar. I can only do one at night, which one is more vital for my redmarks?

after reading more than 10 pgs and saw that this regimen has worked for alot of pplz, i'm really curious as to see if it would work for me or not. but before i try this, i have a question.

delna, is it a key step to use moisturiser?could i skip it after applying the anti acne cream? and since i don't have that much acne, just the red scars left after acne, do u think it would be ok if i don't use the anti acne cream since i read that some ppl have broken out b/c they didn't use the antiacne cream

I just want to thank Delna for sharing with us her regimen. I have benefitted and I'm sure many others have too. A BIG THANKS DELNA! biggrin.gif

hi everybody.............

hope all of you are doing good on the regimen..my mailbox is filled with questions from members asking me where i have disappeared...well, im sure most of you have become experts in this regimen and are seeing good results...and this thread has come far...i NEVER imagined my simple treatment would be liked so much!

For the people who are trying this now, Im sure all your questions are answered in these pages...you just have to have the patience to go thru them..

just popped in to give you a few updates ...

I am still doing the regimen..I just dont do the mask everyday..coz my marks have completely gone. i use it only twice a week now.  I have found out something interesting regarding our skin. it is possible for our skin to get so used to a particular cream or lotion that it will no longer work its magic like it did before! u know...have you ever got the feeling that the cream/lotion that you absolutely loved, that you have been using for over a year, is not doing a thing for you now?? Well, I have. I loved Dove essential nutrients. it just made my skin glow...but after about a year of using it, i felt that its not doing any good to my skin....so i decided to change my moisturiser. I switched to Eucerin Skin renewal SPF 15. And u know what? I WAS RIGHT!! My skin has never looked fresher! It never flakes under make-up and it just feels so smooth and hydrated!  eusa_dance.gif You should try it!

Today's tip......

Do u feel your skin needs a break?

Change your moisturiser...like you would your shampoo!! biggrin.gif

would love to hear your feedback, guys....

take care..

delna.

Hey Delna

Just wanted to thank you for your regimen. I'm excited that all your scars and red marks are gone! I can't wait for that day.

I've only been on the regimen for a week and a half and I believe that it's the best solution for problem skin (although everyone's skin is different).

You were the first person to post something that really balanced out the Ph instead of screwing it all up.

My skin is becomming much more hydrated and balanced! I thought that I would spend the rest of my life shifting through all types of recommendations without reaping any of the benefits. Thank You soooo much Delna, God Bless!

hi guys..

eblaine, moani20, acneobsessed, hellrazerx, kandy, california, tumbleine...and to all those who sent their love.....

thanks a lot for your lovely words......Im so happy this regimen is working for u!! Keep up the good work, folks...I love you all...

i got a really emotional mail yesterday from a member who says I changed his/her life and that he/she wishes to pay me for my regimen....i was moved to tears......

...the sole purpose of posting my regimen on this site was to help you all without profit to myself. I know how it feels to have acne. The smartest people will not have the courage to come up in life if their self-esteem is low. I thank all of you who have tried out this regimen. Thumbs up to those who found their cure in this simple treatment. Those for whom this did not work....Im so sorry...but theres a cure waiting for u somewhere....Please.. just dont give up searching!!!

Wishing u a happy, smiling, smooth n clear face!! smile.gif

Can I use Clearasil Ultra as a cleanser and Tea Tree cream as my acne cream? They work well on my face.

Use a 1:8 (Vinegar: water) solution first and then gradually increase to 1:1

How do I do that? How much water and vinegar do I need to mix and apply to the face and should I use warm/cold or hot water?

after reading all the pgs. i've decided to try this regimen today, but i'm kinda worried if i should continue w/ this or not since i read that a couple of ppl have developed MILIA as a result of this regimen. is anyone else who has been doing this regimen for a couple of weeks or month developed this as well or does it depend on your skin type? and another thing, when you wash the bakingsoda and acv off, do u just use water or a cleanser?

So I have been trying this baking soda/acv thing for a week, no dramatic results, but I am going to keep at it. Is it just me or has anyone else come to like the smell of acv? lol.gif I kinda like it!!

my aesthetician is just AWESOME!!! I had gone in for my second Silk Peel and we were talking abt various skin care mistakes for acne-prone skin... she told me that all u need for those red marks to go away is follow these simple rules.

morning...

1) cleanse with a mild cleanser for sensitive skin.

she says the concept of oily skin and using oily skin products for acne is wrong! oily skin products are best tolerated by ppl who have oily skin but free from breakouts. anyone who is doing ANY treatment for acne will have sensitive skin. so hypoallergenic and sensitive skin products are the best bet for them! this is because oily skin products strips of all the oils on skin..so the skin counter-reacts by producing more oil and hence more acne. those with breakout free oily skin...mm...the lucky few..r the only ones to tolerate this..P.Acne bacterium..why do u hate some ppl and leave the others alone??? WHY??? eusa_boohoo.gif

2) exfoliate

avoid all scrubs..no matter how mild they claim to be. but how do we exfoliate, do u ask??? oh thats easy...and DIRT CHEAP too!!! 2 WORDS- BAKING SODA!

she says that she has not come across any acne-prone patients who has benefitted from scrubs. it may work for a while in some...lead to initial happiness..yeah, and then lead to final gloom when breakouts appear from everywhere...even the areas where it was break-out free in the beginning! SO NO SCRUBS PPL eusa_naughty.gif .use baking soda instead... just make a paste out of baking soda and water...and massage very gently. wash immediately. u have to do this after cleansing. u may be able to extract some ripe or loose blackheads afterward. hey and never try to squeeze a blackhead if its not ready to come out...u will regret it!

3) tone to balance pH

now that baking soda is basic in nature..something acidic is needed to balance the ph. ANSWER? APPLE CIDER VINEGAR!

use a 1:8 (vinegar:water) solution first and then gradually increase to 1:1 ..never apply it neat. BALANCED pH = BEAUTIFUL SKIN! wash off after 10 mins. dont leave it on.

4) apply ur acne cream..i use the Proactiv BP lotion. i use the amt Dan suggests for beginners...( edit: i switched to Neutrogena on-the-spot now). U can use ANY acne cream which suits ur skin. Dont skip this step.

4) Moisturise with SPF containing moisturiser. I use Cetaphil and it does not break me out.  Look for the words sensitive skin, hypoallergenic & non-comedogenic WITH SUN PROTECTION FACTOR when u buy any moisturiser.

5) And for those who apply make-up, use non-acnegenic products containing titanium  dioxide or zinc oxide. they r good for the skin too!

evening..

6) cleanse ur face ..( use baking soda and acv only once a day..morning or evening as ur preference)

7) apply a mild protein mask....till date..ive never found a mask that gives as good results as this mask..this is my aesthetician's favourite mask (btw..she has absolutely gorgeous baby-smooth skin and she told me that she had acne in her teens! hard to believe..!)

1 tablespoon of egg-white whipped up + a squeeze of lemon (dont put too much). smooth it over ur face..avoid eye area... wash off in 10 minutes....and look at a NEW REJUVENATED YOU!! eusa_dance.gif

i tried this mask every day for 5 days....its AMAZING...my skin looks so refreshed! And bonus point is that done everyday...this will make the red-spots VANISH!!!

8) Apply ur acne cream before bed.

THATS IT!! JUST 8 STEPS FOR A HUGE BOOST IN YOUR CONFIDENCE!!

I am not kidding...there is a HUGE difference in my red-spots after just 5 days of this routine. I am going to stick to this routine. U guys ABSOLUTELY MUST TRY THIS.....

i will be glad to answer any questions regarding this....

TAKE CARE ALL OF YOU!!

I don't think that you can get salmonella if you don't eat it. So I think it would be fine if it is just in your face.

Is it okay to do it like this: morning- cleanse, moisturize. Evening- cleanse, exfoliate, apply vinegar, apply face mask, apply cream (i have a once daily one). Hope to hear back from you soon.

ps: i only have malt vinegar- is that okay.

It might be to much for your skin if you do it all of that at night eusa_think.gif You could try it and see if you skin can handl it.

I don't know about the vinegar, but it might be good to use the acv (but i'm not positive)

Good luck I hope that it helps!

Another quick question: is it okay to crack the egg open, leave it in a bowl and then put it in the fridge and use day after day, instead of cracking a new one every day?
