cant remember but i think SPF helps prevent the red spots from getting darker? not sure though.

Firstly - avoid sun exposure. Ultra Violet light can cause hyper-pigmented areas to darken further and thus prolong them. Use non-comedogenic facial moisturisers or facial sunscreens which contain a high SPF of at least 15+.
Hmm.. Is it just me or does anybody else feel that after using the egg mask, your skin feels as soft and smooth as washing your face with a face wash or the dove soap.. The dove soap bar i use doesn't have spf so is that okay? it's the sensitive skin bars... i hope so because i bought a pack of 8 the other day... I know i should be doing the whole regimen, but what happens if i only do the egg mask.. it's hard for me to do everything because i would have to wake up like 20-30 mintues earlier and sleep 20-30 mins. later... but i will do it once i get the acne cream... imma stop by longs tomorrow... i've been doing the mask and applying aloe straight from the plant before going to bed... is this a bad idea? My face doesn't look that much better...
Hey Delna, are you suppose to get those moles/brown spots on ur face after your acne fades a bit, I know you're asian, so am I, so I was wondering if there's a way to prevent that because the same thing happened to my sister, after her acne she got mole-like spots on her face...
Thanks

does anyone know if i can get results if i dont use acne medication as a step i see that she says do not skip this step but i really havent had any breakouts recently i have been using mary kay timewise 3in1 cleanser and mary kay spf15 moisturizer to try and clear up my face and it has worked so far but now i am trying desperatly to get of my red marks.i have used so many different acne medications and they all irritate my skin sooo bad so i gave up and just use the mary kay products that i mentioned.
delna-
so far i could see great improvements in my redmarks and the condition of my skin just by using acv. The reason why I'm not using baking soda is because im currently on accutane and i don't want to to be exfoliating my skin at all. I want to know your opinion on why accutane users cannot use acv. Am I making a mistake for using acv? i only done three treatments on my face with acv and i could see dramatic results already. I've tried everything else and nothing works except this. I already asked my derm if there is anything out there if i can use to make help my red marks fade faster. All he keeps saying is time. Well time involves 6 months of my young life. Would it be safe just to dilute the vinegar with tons of water? Whats the side effect if I do use acv and I'm on accutane?
I actually skip the egg mask, and just do the acv and bs (followed by moisturiser) -- this regime works really well for me.
When I was in my twenties I used to just do the egg mask (I'd never heard of the bs and acv thing) and, although I thought it helped, it was no way as dramatic as the success I'm having with the bs and acv
I agree, I used the bs/acv first, and got ok results but was slow .. and minor breakouts would still occur. I'm using the mask with the combination now, and I maybe get 2 zits a week and they are not as harsh, and disappear within a few days when I leave it alone.
Still lots to do though, on my 3rd week.
Hmm sorry if my question has been answered already because I'm only on page 11 but I'm gonna ask anyway since I'm about to start this regimen.
First I'd like to specify that I don't have active acne right now or very little, I just have these annoying red marks. I do use neutrogena on-the-spot in the morning to cover them but that's about it.
So, my question was: If I did it this way, would it work?
1) put neutrogena on-the-spot in the morning before going to school
2)take a shower when I come back from school
3)wait till my skin dries.
4) apply baking soda then acv
5)then apply the egg mask
That's it.
No cleaning with any acne product before/after, no moisturizer or anything...
Would this work if I did it this way? Or would I be better to use a cleanser and a moisturizer and anything? If so, got any products to recommend me?
Also, will I break out from this? I don't hope so because my skin has been virtually pimple free or close to it and I'd be pissed as fuck if it started back.
Fast please btw I gotta go buy all the shit soon -.-
Oh and btw, is arm and hammer baking soda? would it work?
Oh and also, what is this I hear about sun making your marks stay longer? I thought it was the opposite I had planned on tanning a lot this summer in hope that it would even out my skin and be back to normal again.. I guess this wouldn't work then, right?

SUGGESTION
Delna, do you think you should repost your regimen in a much more detailed way, so you won't get these same questions over and over and over again? It's understandable that they're getting asked, because this thread is so long, but it might be easier on everyone if you reposted your regimen with these most frequently asked questioned already answered?
