Red Laugh Lines

Hi guys, So I'm on retin-a 0.025% and have noticed that my laugh lines have become really red. I'm guessing its because I've been using Salicylic acid in the morning and then at night before I put my retin-a. I've replaced my night face wash with cetaphil gentle cleanser but am still using a Salicylic acid wash in the morning as I was told by my dermatologist(the face wash is called Neutrogena Oil-Free Face Wash). So how can I make the redness on my laugh line go away? It looks ugly and I hate the way it makes my skin look. Retin-A has done wonders for my acne but the redness hasn't gone away since I made the change. Will it go away in time or will I have to do some additional treatment? Thanks, btw I have very oily skin so my the redness is not followed up by any dryness.

I have the same problem. The skin on the side of my nose and my laugh lines are super sensitive. Ive noticed if I avoid using any acne products there and just put some moisturizer the redness goes away :) You may have to give it a couple days for the skin to calm down before you notice a difference. Hope this helps!
