hi guys could you please give some advice about my red acne marks.
I have these for 2+ years and they really dont fade at all (or fade really slowly)
first when i wake they look really pinkish but as the day goes on they turn really red and they really embrass me i have tried lots of things.here is a list of things i tried:
-v beam laser (10 sessions 3 weeks apart) no fading whatsoever
-retin a cream (1 year) just made everything worse
-some other lasers (my doctor wanted to see whether they would work) no results
-2 sessions of salycid acid peels-nothing
-bio oil everything night -actually this thing makes my skin really soft and maybe helps with the fading a little bit?
-hylaronic acid fillers -they actually helped with some of my boxcar scars but the they didnt help with the color
-turmeric mask,acv,baking soda,emu oil,limon juice no results
PS:Im planing to start a blog about fading my red acne marks as soon as my shool finishes so i can keep my self motivated and maybe help others but right know i really feel defeated.
PSS:they actually look 10 times worse in person
Please help me if you actually benefited from a another method. Thanks
surprised the VBeam didn't help...of course I am a LUNATIC and insist on knowing the settings used, and I write it DOWN you could have 1000 session but if too low you are wasting your money
so don't be afraid to speak up, you are paying- YOU are in control
honestly the best thing I do is a daily glycolic acid, like the one on the acne.org site, or you can get alpha hydrox off Amazon...10% enhanced lotion....you have to build up a tolerance to it so go slow...but my skin is tough enough for morning AND night
and time...the pictures don't look bad, but trust me I understand that can be misleading - get yourself a good makeup in the interim, but do look into daily 10% GA
how did you stop the acne, is this post Accutane?
Thanks for your advice
but no trust me my settings were very high (infact i will upload some pictures of my brusing after vbeam) for some reason my red marks didnt react to the laser treatment ?
actually im planning to get the exoderm treatment in summer in order to fade them.
what do you think ?
thanks
here is a picture of my post vbeam treatment (i know it looks scary)
not scary, I've done some crazy things, fully ablative erbium laser....raw oozing skin for weeks...
not familiar with exoderm, I'll look it up, do ask if you can prep the skin to better respond to it, ie daily glycolic acid, or retin a or tazorac?
and good for you...keep at it, but do consider the daily glycolic acid at least once a day...and sunscreen everyday!
