It's been indentified as both a ''box scar'' and ''rolling scar'', which one of them is it?

Are they both created picking on acne afterwards, or may they also occur randomly?

Will shaving make it any worse?

Are there any particular products and/or creams working in terms of those scars? I'd appreciate any recommendations. Keep in mind, I do not want any excessive surgical stuff, such as subcision, besides I don't think i'll be able to afford it either.

This type of scar occured during september last year, I have no clue whether it's replaced from an acne or something else.

I am really depressed once looking at the mirror, it's seriously bothering me though.

I have made previous threads, unfortunately no replies been given so I make simply recreating it and looking forward seeing people being helpful.

Picture; Ignore the second small circle.

It doesn't look this deep irl though, it's been a lil pushed up, but this is the best picture I was able to get. Any help would be really appreciated, keep in mind, only somehow ''cheap'' products and not excessive stuff.

so cheap things....first of all shaving won't matter at all so no worries there

depressions like this would respond to subscision but if you don't want to do that, perhaps you can talk your derm into giving you a good price on saline injections, search the web, they do work for some, but you need a series, and ideally a doctor to inject them

the other thing is a dermastamp...cheap you do it yourself, essentially targeted micro needles create an injury only on that scar (the rest of your skin looks great by the way) so read up about that on owndoc.com....educate yourself and go slow...I use a 1.5mm stamp and right after I alternate between vitamin C serum or copper peptides...I've also put a high strength tazorac right on it too

good luck, get going on something...cheap means you have to have patience, but you have options, read up and get going down a path

I appreciate your helpful reply, really. However, will any of those harm my skin, for example worsen my scar? Because I don't want to take such risks.

Do you have any recommendations on any product that will make it less visible? I can hold my patience though, because this scar ain't that bad.

Also, thanks for giving me moral. My dad tends to tell me my skin is clear and looks great but I always disagree, but coming from more than one person makes me actually think it's better than I thought. However, thanks.

well I agree with your dad, you do look good- great skin tone

read up on owndoc.com and go slow if you want...start with a 0.25mm stamp- it helps with product penetration- no topicals are going to lift that area, you need to create an injury to get that collagen rebuilding

so go slow if you want with a smaller stamp, and then use products like copper peptides immediately AFTER you stamp

Alright thanks, will keep my results updated also ):

I can't find the 0.25 mm stamp nor the 0.15, only 0,50mm and higher.

even the 0.5mm is a good starting step...again read up on owndoc.com about protocols and how to sterilize and take care of the stamp

it will be red for 12 hours, but by creating a micro injury in the scar itself, you then apply topicals that absorb deeper

many fans of copper peptides, look up Super Cop, expensive but many swear by it, I use the copper peptides on the owndoc.com site

it's a slow but steady assault on the scar, at 0.5mm you can likely stamp weekly...patience pays off, and at that level it should not make anything worse, patch test an area first not visible

I'll be speaking to a specialist in few days bringing those stuff up, do you have any cream recommendations which I can also bring up during my time with the specialist? Would appreciate that.
