Hi all.

About 2 weeks ago I had a pimple that was under the skin so of course i attempted to bring it to a head and it didn't work, tried to pop it and it didn't work. Simply made things worse.

It was a small pimple but the red / yellow mark I got from attempting to pop it became the size of a dime.

I went to the doctor's as it was also inflamed, bumpy and itchy so assumed it was a reaction or infection. I got prescribed fucidin h and it's been good in getting out the yellow and the really obvious redness but 2 weeks later and I'm still stuck with this mark.

I've been using fucidin h and benzoyl peroxide for the bit of redness that's in the centre.

The skin on this mark looks and feels different. The look of it is almost shiny compared to the rest of my skin.

So I'm just wondering if it's the skin healing or is it a scar? Should I treat it as skin healing or treat it as a scar is what I'm wondering..
