i dermaroll and use leds. i also use retin a every other day and have done 2 15% tca peels in the past, one witch was done last night;
last night I did a dermaroll/stamp session with 1.5mm roller and 2.0mm dermastamp to target the deeper scars (lots of bleeding). I then follow by washing off my face really well so no blood was to be seen. then I applied a 15% tca peel for 2.5 minutes. man o man, that stuff frosted so quickly and stung like crazy. I was super worried because even after 'neutralizing' my face felt like it was on fire, that lasted for at least an hour. the reason was because I needled very deeply so the tca was able to go at least 1mm. anyways, after the hour, I did a led session using the red/infrared leds from theledman. 6 minutes each area on both temples, both cheeks, both jawlines and lastly on my forehead. (make sure you don't use it continously for more then 20ish minutes because it could get very hot and possibly damage the handheld device, so 'treat' the entire left side or right of face then take a 10 minute break meanwhile hydrating yourself, then your other side, finishing off with your forehead. I then treated my face with the copper peptides from owndoc.com, then applied hemp seed oil as moisturizer
I use the leds every single day before bed, followed by copper peptides or retin, and then I wait an hour to apply hemp seed oil.
lastly, I wear sunscreen religiously. it's a must. i try to steer towards organic and very natural products so i use the following sunscreen: http://www.badgerbalm.com/p-505-zinc-oxide-sunscreen-lotion-spf-30-aloe.aspx
to answer your most recent question..i believe prolong sun exposure is very bad, while a few minutes a day (1-15) of direct exposure is okay and good for health (vitamin d)
