Hey! I have quite deep and obvious scars on my right cheek. Some are smaller, but 4 of them are quite huge and I doubt they would respond to any type of topical treatment. I wonder if these could be treated with chemical peels or laser? Is fractional laser an option?

Also, I've spent a month in harsh sun (with sun screen ofc) but still got a lot of freckles, is it dangerous to start treating my scars any time soon? Thank you

Which ever you choose in the end, I hope it helps. I have wanted to try laser, but I heard it's expensive >.>;

yep agree, subscision followed by a fraxel a couple months or so later to help smooth the small scar

please choose a doctor with care, should not be a derm unless they do a lot of facial subscisions! better to go to a plastic surgeon or a mohs surgeon who is used to operating on the face

good luck, it's really just those two, then again a couple fraxel sessions will help with the smaller remaining scars

you look great and your skin tone is great...and yes you should avoid anything until the tan is gone

Fortunately, other than those couple of scars, the rest of your skin looks good. I do think that subcisions AND fillers may help. Do one that is more temporary to see if it works. A good rule of thumb, is if you stretch the skin gently between two fingers and the scars disappear (not tethered down) that means they can be filled immediately. If they do not disappear then it is probably tethered to the deeper structures, and you will need to have them subcised before filling.
