Hey guys, so i've had severe acne since about 12 years old and now i'm 16 and it's cooled down but i'm left with a bunch of little scars on my face! I was was wondering, whats the best/most effective way to treat these scars and make my skin clear. I'm also considering the risks of the process too but all suggestions are useful. Also, the scars usually have redness, even though the acne is gone.
lasers would also be very effective. However, you would need a minimum of 5 sessions or so. The redness will fade away on their own. You can speed it up by using a Retin-A or a hydroquinone bleaching agent. If you do the lasers they would also improve the slight pitting and get rid of the discoloration at once. But you would need to be patient. Your scars are very mild so you would respond very well. You're one of the luckier ones. Good luck!
