i have a new keloid on my chest and i have had two injections of steroid. both times the keloid was flat for a weak then immediately returned. should i continue getting more steroid injections or try and get the5fu injections? i mentioned to my dermatoligst about 5fu and she didn't seem to know what i was talking about. please help

I'd like to know this too, I had my scar flatten for 3 weeks and then it just popped back up, I'm losing my mind.

Have you tried scar revision? if not give it a go, then after the surgery get cortisone shots (injections) or if you're bold enough go for radiation. It can greatly reduce the return rate of the keloid.

I have similar problem, except I have hypertrophic scars over my chest and shoulders and upper back.

seems like that would be wayyy too much money for me. i found a derm to do the injection his name is benjamain barankin check him out toronto keloid suffers.
