How is your face looking these days? You've been on this treatment for a while, longer than anyone here. Thanks

Hey lamarr, I received Terproline today. Although not professional.. It is the Terproline Face Cream 50ML. I hope this won't be a problem..??

Oh and U.S. residents interested in Terproline, you can order from Skinmed. I had no issues whatsoever, paid 23GBP. Which is about $40. Shipping took 5 days.

Its doing good, i haven't rolled since xmas and when i did it was with a 1mm one because the seller sent me the wrong one....

Anyway i even got results from that. My scars are at the point that no one else will notice them even in harsh lighting. I still notice them in harsh lighting so i'm going to do about 2 more treatments over the summer. I will probably stop then for good....

I thought you said previously that after you got the results you want, you should roll at least once per year to maintain the results.

Also, if I call them and they don't buy my story, is the regular (not professional) sufficient enough to get results?

I did say that yes, but i mean't if your not prepared to continue using the LEDs. Personally if i keep using the leds a couple of times per week and use a good mineral sunblock i don't think i will need to dermaroll for a very long time....

And i can only speak from personal experience, yes i got results from the non professional product so i think it is worth giving a try.

Only had two done by Dr Chu, i see him privately and don't have private insurance so i pay for everything. I decided to do it myself and i have done about 5-6 myself now? I'm not sure it's been quite a while since i started and i space mine far apart....

really? :(

I read that Dudley had trouble contacting him too until he used his work email or something. What kind of email did you guys used?

Also Lamar, I read that you said to use a "thin" dermaroller as it is recommended by dermatologist? Do you mean like Dermaroller A or Dermaroller B

I also see Dermaroller being sold on ebay for like $15. But the ones above are like $70. What is the difference? Cheap Dermaroller

Lamarr,

I was reading your comprehensive guide, it didn't include how you clean/disinfect your dermaroller. Can you let us know how keep the dermaroller clean. Thanks.

I personally leave my rollers in isopropyl alcohol for abotu half an hour MAX, then rinse with hot water. Then i dip them into hibiscrub/hibicleanse for 5 mins or so and rinse them with hot water again.

The idea behind this is to break down all the oils/blood etc on the roller with the alcohol then use the hibiscrub to sterilize.

Some people are using denture capsules in water, they break down the dirt and enzymes pretty well and are fairly good antimicrobials. I personally think my way will be better at killing bacteria/fungi etc....

You can also purchase a UV-C sterilising light to expose the dermaroller to after you have done the above steps.

I have read some sellers claiming that alcohol can dull the microneedles and they don't recommend using them. Do you think it would be an issue, lamarr1986? How many times do you roll with 1 roller before you throw them away.

Also for the denture capsules, any particular ones? Do they substitue alcohol & hibiscrub together or just either of them.

Can anyone contact the LED man or know if he is available? He hasn't responded to my email in a few days and I read that other ppl had the same trouble before. Can anyone verify if he's available? Thanks

Do you do the same after using them, until the next rolling. How do you clean them after using?

And also, can i keep the roller Dr. Chu used on me and use it again after sterilising?

Ok, the ledman finally responded. Thanks Lamar.

He also told me that I can't the infrared LED 880 near my temple area because the infrared will penetrate through the side of my head so it doesn't matter if I close my eyes or not. But that's the area I mainly want to treat. Is the infrared 880 a necessity for better results with LEDs?
