Wtf? Really?
he was discharged from hospital at 4 days. That picture is 20 days. I dont think the injury was 3rd degree either. Renovocell accelerates healing times which in itself prevents scarring (if healing is under 2 weeks). Polarity are regrowing the entire thickness of skin which is completely destroyed. With renovocell, they use in conjunction with skingrafts in 3rd degree burns.

Look at PolarityTE website....it shows advanced healing in a swine model in just 10 DAYS.
That's what we were thinking the timing was.....it's not like that anymore, we don't even know if it's going to regenerate skin....
I'm not that optimistic anymore, I'll wait for updates but I'm getting pessimistic....
I also MUST mention this.
Lots of people here disregarded the results showed by RenovaCare as shitty and bad but they're so much better than the ones showed by PolarityTe.
This is what RenovaCare regenerated in 4 days (I repeat 4 DAYS not 4 MONTHS like SkinTE).
With Renovo, I think people were concerned that the limit for that regeneration (in pic) is a second-degree burn, so a burn that goes partly down to the dermis which is where the scars lie (some acne scars go deeper).
Also the result shown is not after 4 days but a few months I believe. I was looking it up and found this:
I believe this would be a great treatment for light scars or maybe raised scars i.e. remove the skin through excision and then use cell spray treatment.

Maybe a combination treatment with Polarity and then Renovocell could give us the results we want? Remove affected skin, and regrow slightly scarred skin, remove scars in upper layer and use renovocell or if there's pigmentation, hypopigmentation, lasers could restore the pigment?
I doubt surgeons will do this for facial scarring though.

For Stretch Marks
Step 1. Microneedling and dermastamping(or single needling) for about 1 year or 1 and a 1/2 years.
Maybe combine with peels (tca cross) or topical iodine - which may regenerate the skin further.
Step 2. Camouflage softened scars with skin colored tattoos. By now the stretch mark/linear scar should be 70 - 80% improved.
For Acne Scars
Step 1. Microneedling and dermastamping(or single needling) for about 1 year or 1 and a 1/2 years.
Again combine with peels (tca cross) or topical iodine.
Step 2. Fillers for depressed acne scarring. Some good results:to help.
Step 3. Consistent dermarolling or stamping to improve scars.
Thoughts? It won't be perfect but I'm so depressed and right now I think its better to give this a try than nothing. Maybe when I'm in my mid 30's, I'll regenerate my scars and live life normally.
There are products that will tighten the skin so the scars don't look as bad but won't get rid of them....i was using a product from skinbiology called super cop and my derm noticed my skin looked a lot better.
Polarity keeps posting about their stock on their facebook page. No pics or they have not even stated if this stuff works on acne scars.....i am still waiting!
They only graft with a deep 2nd degree burn or worse. A 'lighter' 2nd degree they dont. So who knows if this was a deep or light 2nd degree burn. They used it on a boy in England on his chest with amazing results. Didnt need grafting thank god.
Yeah i mean if you had polarity then i assume you can get revision on it like you would any other skin? Lasers etc. I must admit my scar is on my neck and im not sure if i would want to risk polarity there let alone my face. I think desperation can cloud judgement. I would want to see it used on burns on the face first. I dont know why but sunogel doesnt freak me out as much lol

My issue is not so much my face but the sides of my back, upper arms and shoulders. My face has some small pockmarks but it's not a big issue per say. My back is covered with small white marks from horrendous bacne that is still lingering around. I don't think any existing treatments help with my condition.
Actually the problem we dont recieve scarless healing till now is the problem with researchers
every dumbass researchee start his own new approach and take different pathway to scarless healing some take TGF B , Some take WNT pathway some take LGR
cells some takr amniotic fluid..everybody starts a new approach if they concetrated on one thing from past and continue researching on it they would had acheieved this 10 years ago
now u see if any new company joins this research he start a new strategy he says altering of ABC ALPHA GAMA gene will result in scarless healing we proved that in rats ...lol even some rats achieved scarless healing during experiments and we are still waiting it would be better that if we start doing different things to small wounds created in our legs and experimenting with different things ..maybe we find something which heal it without scars and also than our experiment we do it on ourselves no FDA approval needed
somebody posted that dextran hydrogel composition way back in this thread ..should we create it with help of a chemistry knowlegable person ???

Believe me, if big pharma discovered a way to eliminate scarring, they would jump on the opportunity right away. Nobody can crack the code. Some reserachers say they have but there is not much out there to support their claim.
Big pharma doesn't seem to think scarring is a problem. Thus, they don't care and rather use existing scar revision methods which often do little for profit.
I am still not convinced about SkinTE but let's see where it goes. I would love to get my skin back and eliminate the scars from this unnecessary skin disease.
Applying weird things on your scars would cause more problems I believe and make them worse.

i said experiment on leg small wounds and scars not face...when i came to this forum i also have belief in many things but slowly i lost all hope and skinTe lets see what is final cosmetic outcome of this thing
i want to tell people that earlier we underestimated the power of lugols iodine and still many people are using it to regenrate scars and its working for them
why it didnt worked for past users who used it ?
my answer will be either process was wrong means they were doing something wrong
or the most important thing
most acne scars in this world are not true scars like burn or trauma scars if u examine acne scars closely you see normal skin it but its just a loss of fat or volume there ..while burn or trauma scars are trur scars you can see their shiny surface weired texture etc
so what i think that this iodine work for trur fibrotic scars not fat or volume loss scars
atleast from my point of view .
.i am buying a lugols iodine soon and going to use it on my hands scar to see what it do..
.
I contacted Dr.Sun, He told me that they are considering toInitiate a crowdfunding in the next half year.

Thank christ for that! Im sure this forum alone will raise some nice cash lol!
I wonder if big pharma have approached him at any point? Dr Sun is a scar survivor himself so maybe he doesnt want people such as big pharma getting hold of it and selling it to people at ridiculous amounts. Would explain the need to crowd fund.

I'm happy to hear this on one hand, but also a bit saddened.
I don't see how Dr. Sun will get the word out to obtain the massive amount of crowdfunding he'd need in order to conduct trials the way he wants to (full 3 phase clinical trials per my conversation with him). If he can't get private investors to come on board and spread the word about his product, I don't see how he'll reach enough people via crowdfunding.
Maybe if he could get investors to match whatever is donated via crowdfunding then he could get close to what he needs (several million dollars for clinical trials according to what's reported via the FDA). Still, glad to hear that he's getting creative and still pushing forward.
Maybe get some celebrities to take note that have had scars? Like the drummer from blink 182 who is a burn survivor. One of the red hot chili peppers has a skin graft on his arm. There is quite a few. Dr Sun needs them sort of people to crowd fund really. Maybe if theres something we can all do is write letters to these people or twitter when its time. I think thats all worth our time x

The key here is camouflaging lol. Can you pm me the product you're using from skinbiology? I heard that copper peptides help increase decorin which helps for scar remodeling. May use in conjunction with aggressive microneedling and stamping for two years to experiment!

Oh dear....are your scars raised or depressed? I think recellhelps with pigmentation (hypo - white).

This is the only thing I will keep living for. I'm only in my early twnties so if he can flesh that out by my mid thirties I'll be happy to live a normal life.

My scars are slightly raised above the skin's surface. They are small but quite extensive. They look like goosebumps or whiteheads that didn't develop fully giving me a chicken skin like appearance. Many people have them after suffering from years of extensive body acne but existing treatments do very little.
Sometimes hair grows out from the center of the tiny scar. Some are as small as 1 mm while others can be as big as up to 5 mm. I believe we can call the bigger ones hypertrophic scarring. Point is my upper arms, back and shoulders are covered by these things. I have also a few on my jawline, thighs and buttocks.
They are the remnants of the cysts and boils I used to get as a teenager. The smaller ones go by many names like perifollicular elastolysis, mid dermal elastolysis or papular acne scars and seem to have a connection to another skin condition known as anetoderma. Some say they disappear after a few months or years but mine have been liggering around forever.
That's acne for you.

Really weird reading this becauas3 i had a bad acne flare last year and after it resolved i could feel all these grain like bumps sticking out of my back and my mum said they look like little pin prick white heads and my skin was dry. I noticed these same little grains growing out the lower half of my face and again my skin was dry. I stopped using face wash and tap water and the dryness stopped and so did these little bumps. I have got loads of tiny hypo scars thoigh in that area which i hope heal over and fade.

I have hyperpigmentation and hypopigmentation. The hyperpigmentation fades with time but those white scars you have are for life. Imagine having these covering half your back and shoulders. Mine are slightly raised too. It looks awful. We can't do much. I wear my scars with pride. If someone asks, I say these are the ravages of acne. My skin pores are about 2 or 3 mm wider than the average person. This means that my pores are highly prone to skin infections. I often get pimples on my lower arms and legs. I have very visible pores which makes my pockmarks on my face blend in.
People suffer from all kinds of diseases. For me, it's my skin. One day, our quest for blemish free skin will be a reality but I would be an old by then. Sometimes, I come here to read about the latest research towards scar freewound healing. It would be fantastic if someone would find an answer to this problem as it would help many people to regain their confidence back.

I have those hypo scars on some of my back also. used to get cystic type on shoulder blades. My back takes 3 years to fade. Weirdly they look better with a tan although white lol have you tried lumenis ultra pulse scarrfx for them? Supposed to blend things quite well. I dont have that many tbh but if you have a lot it could help?
I want to be optimistic but I really don't think we will have an acne scars cure soon.
And before somebody come here and say "we already have!", then you clearly don't understand what kind of acne scars I have. Look at my pics and you'll understand.
PolarityTE is our only chance to get a cure within 2020, if it fails nothing new will come before 2030

Birchbiomed is doing clinical trials and Allergan is coming up with a new product soon. Also people are getting great results with Rejuran S in asia. You are wrong.
