what does it mean? (i really check polarity news 5 times per day )
This doesn't really mean anything. That is a stock site that just tracks the PolarityTE stock and posts updates every day. Nothing to do with any progress of the company or trial.

You can start to make notes for the next 10 or 20 years for future generation. There will be more oportunities to trust in of real scarless skin wound healing. 3d bioprinted human skin, pigs with human organs for transplantation, growing in lab human skin, iPSC technology for tissue restoring etc. etc. (and for acne scars, if the acne vaccine will be developed in the next 2 years, such wounds will disappear). And now only polarityTE within 2-3 months will let us know whether we have a small chance to face our skin with no scars in our lifetime (or almost unnoticeable) or we'll be like our previous generation, to live with scars for the whole our life and believe in that scientists will solve our problem "tomorrow" and before that time going through tons of aestetic procedures...Oraccept yourself as you are...or smth else...So at least you can do a good deed.
Guys come on, aren't you all being a bit delusional here. I read the Forbes article and everything about Polarity.
It says "if this technology works" then okay it will be so greeat blah blah, and also laboratory evidence of regeneration or almost regeneration etc.
but ALL OF THIS WAS SAID ABOUT RENOVA, RECELL, ACELL MATRISTEM etc. etc. OVER TEN YEARS AGO!!!!
I've talked to top scientists. I repeat SCIENTISTS at UCLA, MIT, HARVARD and UNIVERSITY OF INDIANA not doctors who are trying to become CEOS and shit. Doctors don't know fucking ANYTHING about science they're just a bunch of business people with narrow specialties. And these doctors don't know shit they were just poached to give the company some sort of impressive pedigree (and it WORKED with the FORBES article and their stupid ads clearly looking for more funding so they can pad their accounts with tons of "research money" to keep us hoping for the next two decades as they build mansions and buy ferraris. These people are just greedy. Seriously, I'm trying to help you guys. THe scientists say that regeneration of this type is literally decades away. There's no proof any of thiswill work just as it was with acell and those other companies.
I'm taking wagers there will be ZERO. ZERO news even by 2019 on this front. And even if there is it will be a decade away and cost in the HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS to have done. So stop dreaming. Make peace with yourselves and your scars. I will literally not post a bloody thing until I see proof. Proof of these being successful and available anywhere. I'm only gonna check back into this site on a monthly basis so it doesn't feel like I'm wasting my time. But this thread will be alive in 2030. MARK MY WORDS. WE'LL ALL STILL BE HERE IN 2030 (I'll be an old man!!!!) But I'll make this voyage with you guys and we'll still be talking in 2030. Love and peace to all goodbye.

Seems like it can mean both scar-free and almost scar-free.

Wound closure and complete regeneration are 2 different stories- wound closure takes place within 5 - 10 days. Complete regeneration take upto 3months. This is also the standard timeframe for current scar remodeling with lasers or microneedling. The wounds will close in couple of hours but the remodeling in the deeper layers takes 3 months and In his first interview and in the telefo conference they also said the same.

Scarfree vs scarless - in wounding it the same!!!

I agree it was said about them also. However, renovo etc. Didn't make any sense to me from the beginning with and it was clear that their products prevascar, justiva etc will fail because by only up & downregulating TGF 1, 2, 3 - you won't be able to regenerate anything. By only stopping collagen bundles from forming a scar will not vanish, you have to regernate skin layers! The same goes for Tropoelastin, Fibrostop2 etc. As long hair follicle, sweatglands, rete ridge, and so on are not regenerated in wounded skin, it will always look different from the surrounding skin, hence a scar. So why i strongly believe skinte will work is because multiple different researches from different groups around the world have come to similar conclusion about how to regenerate tissue. And skinte uses that approach.
Bytheway stretchmarks and most of the acne scars are not fibrotic scars! They are a gab/whole in the dermis held together by few collagen and elastin bundles. This is why they are sunken inwards compared to the surrounding due to the missing tissues (follicle, sweatglands etc) Real scars are hypertrophic and Keloids which are full of fibrotic material (thick unorganized collagen bundles). So skinte can regenerate those missing layers and your stretchmarks & scars will completely blend in with the surrounding skin.

That makes sense, people can live with closure at 10 days where it will look acceptable. Then afterwards 3 months for the full regeneration will not be an issue.

If skinte speak about regenerate full (scar free), they can fullhealingas well the cheloidethanall other types of scars. Otherwise it is not a regeneration full, and only an improvement of the skin

But again let's wait for couple of months, human trial results should be out soon. Finally Forbes has written the article, I had written to them and other top new papers to have look on polarity and get more infos.
This isn't true at all. The army has DOD funded regenerative medicine studies, which includes tissue and skin regeneration. Avita participated as well many universities and various companies. Like I said, SkinTe looks promising, Johns Hopkins doctors, decent funding etc... BUT the time table given by companies like this are often purposefully optimistic. I hope they can move to human trials soon, but let's just wait and see before being to pessimistic or optimistic. All we can do is follow any news on them.

with all this boundless optimism!
I can't find your old quote, but literally none of that was said about recell, or any other skin product. Recell was first and foremost developed by a burn centre and plastic doctor for PARTIAL thickness burn wounds. Some plastic surgeons have used it to aid in healing time for facial resurfacing surgeries and to repigment scars with varying degrees of success. FIona Wood has never claimed it would regenerate full thickness skin in full thickness burns or claimed that it an get rid of pre existing scars. The reason why tissue engineered skin substitutes are of interest to many burns doctors is because in cases where the body is burned over 20-30 percent they often run out of skin to graft, and they need something to close off the wound from infection. SkinTe is much different because they are claiming success in FULL thickness 3rd degree burn wounds. They are claiming that their model would regenerate not only skin but its appendages. This is something that all burns doctos have wanted and have acknowledged as being a problematic part of their job. If SkinTe can regenerate all appendages in scars they should be able to do the same in a scar granted there is enough skin to biopsy and proliferate. My only issues is the overly optimistic time window they've given. I in part appreciate that they want to move as fast as possible though. All we can do is wait, but the experiment regenerating skin in pigs is huge enough to be very optimistic. Hopefully, it works on humans.

Why Rez are so sceptical? Maybe because 3d degree burns was succesfully treated before and we see this promises once again?
Only in rat models to my understanding. Never in swine.

Plenty have tried and have failed. Some succeeded but they were only able to achieve partial/improved healing and definitely not full regeneration.
There is also a difference between treating something and regenerating it. They've developed methods to treat burns for pain and better function sure, but nothing to provide full REGENERATION.
Bioengineered tissue has been made of skin and its appendages that were successfully implanted in mice. They however; haven't moved past that. PolarityTE tested their method in swine (which their method uses no incubators or scaffolds or external factors as those others did) and not just that, they're making pretty huge claims along with telling us they'd provide results of their human trials which are not even going to last a fraction of the time that FDA trials usually last.
The balls on these people to be making such claims and having it all done in such a short span of time means these guys strongly believe they have it figured out.
I'm prepared for a let down, but seeing all these professional plastic surgeons, specialists, high ranking army general, and burn centers hopping on board with this makes it pretty exciting that they have probably been shown more than us and with decades of experience behind their backs. The CEO of the company has even left a big opportunity that would've progressed him in life to put it all on the table with PolarityTE. Others have also left decades of professional work to make this team and dream a reality.

It would be pretty huge if the human trials worked, but I can't find anything about them.
