From what I know they did not regenerate third degree skin damage of swine models unlike polarity.
Swine skin is more complicated then humans, so if it works on swine it is highly likely it works on human skin.
Polarity is more promising then them.

I am actually glad we have something to look forward to (which is in the near future) after several years of suffering. Yes, my youth will not comeback but i'm still eternally grateful if this works out and we all have a new lease of life.

I got severe scarring since I was 18, now i'm 28. Could not ever get into a relationship because of it and people always think i'm shy because somehow I act fidgety (Afraid of how people view my scars). I really wish all this will end someday and I can be my true self finally.

any more products in progress except SkinTE ?

We are to close with skinTE. It is fact that skinTE regenerate normal skin but we have to see how much itworks on humans and how connects with the native skin.If it Works for burns and the burn skin become as it was before then every scar can be treated. We will find out the next 2-3 monthes

we need scar removal techniques scarless healing techniques..scar improver such as lasers peels are not so satisfying..

Well there is currently not much to discuss about! Dr. Cotsarelis study about bmp is yet a proof of concept and it will take years till something will take place. FS2 by birch biomed is not getting ahead I guess it doesn't work. So the only one with some promising results and speed is polarity. However, human trials are on its way and by the end of this year we should know if it works or not. Once they can regenerate 3degree burned skin successfully, I am sure they will find ways for further application of their product.

Hi, I've been following this discussion for years. I don't have acne scars but a round, flat superficial scar on my right palm after an bicycle accident which has caused me great deal of pain for 4 years. I've been in many X-rays, MRI's, electromyoneurography and plenty of doctors without a proper diagnosis or cure. That's why I'm waiting Gemstone's dextran hydrogel, I'm hoping the pain would subside after scar removal and dextran hydrogel application.

Gemstone hasn't upgraded their website for over a year and I did a search with "Gemstone" and "hydrogel" on these FDA medical device approval databases without results. Guess we have to keep waiting

Both are promising. However their timelines are both ambiguous

Noo unfortunately both are not available and they have so far also not done any human trials in which they can prove that their system works. Polarityte can also be applied in combination with a hydrogel. So I think as of now the best hope is SkinTE!

Those kind of small scrapes heal without scars anyway. Not very professional slideshow.
