So, as I was talking about a few months back, I did try resveratrol for my hypertrophic scars and applied it all sorts of ways. Some while later now, I can definitely see improvements and have verified this by before and after pictures (not shared here though). Have in mind these were old, mature scars of over five years. Scars now largely invisible other than in shadowy lighting but even then there is improvement.

He or she said that his / her burn marks / scars are 95% gone.

sounds like a load of crap lol

No, not wine. Resveratrol pills. I took them orally and also applied them to my skin. And the scars are not on my face.

guys , dextran hydrogel wont be able to help severe full face acne scars easily to perfect, maybe it can ,but will be very costly becasue they must create a full thickness excision of your scar , so if your face looks like rudy's profile pic , they have to excise your cheek
i doubt it will be easy to help my scarring too

dextran hydrogel only works when you punch out the entire skin and put the hydrogel on while healing .
maybe it will be easier for one or two small scars, but perfect is quite a fantasy

you cannot do one by one if your face is full of craters because how will you keep the hydrogel "plasters" on your face , the only way is to do all at once

My scars were very visibly raised. They are now very visibly flat.

They are gonna treat 3rd degree burns. As a rule, they are huge and deep. Why do they keep on reaserching if this is already imposible? To treat tiny burnies?

Acne scarring ain't so deep as 3rd deg burns, so it will be treated more easily.

And I think it will be possible to treat part by part starting from healthy side. IMO.

The skin has the deepest healthy layer.

it's the same roach. you need to do full thickness or almost full thickness excision.

recell costs USD10000 for laser and recell up to one a4 sized paper. but recell is different , it's just spray on, you dont have to keep a hydrogel on your face for 20 days.

the problem is how much one sheet of hydrogel costs.

burns treatment (the current one using skin transplanting costs 25,286 (USD 40k) on average)

do you have 50000usd ready? lol

Well, it's time to save money. And it's really better and cheaper to me to find a doc and a chemist and do it inside my country than go to US... lol

Why do I need to excise full thickness if acne scars are based in dermal layer? Just excise scar tissue and save normal fat layer. It will heal faster. 3rd degree burns are based in the all layers.

I'd pay 100k to get a 95% improvement, sure i don't have that yet but i sure as hell would work all day everyday till i can get the treatment, all we can do just wait and wait some more then get depressed and cry then wait, repeat in my case.

Thx binga

@Bloodwar44: occasionally i get this feeling that my scar is bad enough that i wouldnt find the cure to completely turn back the clock..

i believe you feel the same?

anyway , going by reverse psychology, i also can feel how you want to post "negative" comment just to get "positive" comment. Thats because we ourself feels that its impossible to fix our scars. We need each others support. But by doing so, you are also killing people who has the same boat as you are instead..

Once again i said, judging by technology advancement. I think before 10 years that so called miraculously impossible cure will more likely be in the market
