He's gotten more info regarding the allegedly scarless technique used in hair restoration. So check it out as it might be interesting.
If I was him, and no offense to you panos, I would politely not answer that question, I wouldn't validate it. Its too trivial and probably offensive. And if he doesn't answer, do not take it personal. The gel, which has been optimized with plenty of research is designed to heal a full thickness burn. Not only that but you have then went and conveyed their peer reviewed research that takes a standard of expertise, is easy. He might even think you are taking the p.
I just tagged Dr Sun to the fb page asking him if hydrogel could used after non so abrasive methods like excision(for example
after heavy dermastamping).
This could be the easiest thing to test. And it doesnt seem risky to put, on an dermastamped scar ,a water and sugar gel.
We could test this on our own anytime .

We could test this anytime though...Would be practical and familiar.
All we would need ,would be a sample of the scaffold to apply after the heavy stamping.
I will delete the post there.

Yeah i have heard about this dude.He can manage to make the donor area again virgin.
I think there is a test process going on for 50 grafts .

The guy talking about hair loss has a full head of hair.. LOL
The guy talking about hair loss has a full head of hair.. LOL
It's partly an illusion he creates. He actually paints part of his head the same color as his hair. It's just like people camouflaging their scars with make-up because they can't deal with walking around without it (i.e. the make-up).
LOL.
If I'm obsessed then what am I obsessed with Maldicon? Obsessed with facts? Obsessed with reason using, scientific, accurate, factual and logical information over perpetual ignorance? (Note: Obsessed with reality.) Obsessed with quality? Obsessed with chocolate?
at first I thought you were just a obsessed. now I think you really have problems...no harms.
Yeah, what do you say people stop using this thread as a place to post poison? Or as a place to dump negativity? There's no point, really, to do so. When you think about it.
Just remain civilized and share anything useful that you can when you happen to find it. As in interesting news. Nobody needs to read child-like posts where people go at each other which serve no purpose other than to annoy.

I have deleted the previous post. maybe I went too far. hope you're right.

this is really cool shit for sure. but it's all about a method to extract follicles without CREATING scars. Not how to regenerate scars once they've already formed. so while this stuff is cool to know and please do post such digressions, they're fascinating. it's irrelevant to skin regeneration/regenerating scars.

yeah, okay. agreed.
Hey Seabs do you think if a patient did a procedure like re-cell/skin gun then applied the hydrogel we might see better results? I know they said even without putting in any growth factors the dextran hydrogel did wonders but if we were to spray stem cells onto the wounded area and applied the gel would it yield better results since it should speed up the regeneration process leaving less chance for complications.
What I get really annoyed at is that there are so many technology out there like recell, acell that works to an extent but none have actually tried to share or work together towards a solution.

Really? I misunderstood then. I thought that it was more relevant to what this thread is about than it apparently is.
Whatever results in scarless healing ,theoritically it could be replicated in existing scars.
Cutting the scar's mass and then apply the technique that promotes the scarless healing.
But something tells me ,we need first to make our body get rid of any other existing inflammation.

That's what I was thinking. It may not be as simple though. I remember in that video him saying that it may only work on the scalp for instance. Which I thought was weird. As scarless is scarless and skin is skin.

Scalp heals way better, due to the better circulation plus nearby hair are considered to distirbute stem cells.
Hey, Uncut. Btw, this is not an opinion, not a theory. Its the property of a method, it is a fact of a scientific method. They also have never stated another method got better results (btw it is impossible to get better results than complete regeneration) that's a myth perpetuated. Btw if they did that, which they did not, then that would invalidate their paper (the paper states the method got complete regeneration), as logically this would imply incomplete regeneration, contradicting the papers premise of complete regeneration.
This scientific method, got scar free healing from a third degree burn with nothing added, the hydrogel was tested against a state of the art standard that has been tested on thousands of mammals. Also using that method which proved complete regeneration, to answer your question, It wouldn't need anything added; as going by the logic from the method in the paper, anything added would be redundant; and probably would only result in crosslinking the hydrogel, meaning incomplete regeneration.

Maldition said you had issues...and you responded in an intense manner so I thought there was a fight/bickering happening. Maldition admitted he felt his post maybe went a bit too far so he deleted it. I was referring to that whole thing.
I wasn't attached to your first post by word, so I didn't respond. I'm surprised you claim I'm involved in some fight?

That whole thing? Issues? Has he called my beer a name? Are you causing trouble here? lol.

Who gives a fuck? LOL
Hey Seabs what I'm saying is IF the hydrogel did not produce complete but partial regeneration in humans. Would combining the product with stem cells yield better or closer results to complete regeneration.
There were a lot of hype when we first heard of Acell/ECM since it regenerated a 70yo mans finger though it was a failed product in most eyes. I still think it was a success in the sense it did promote regeneration and the product is being used to make people lives better.
I do hope this product is our holy grail but I'm not holding my breath. If it produces great results but not full regeneration it's still part success since they could put it on the market to fund further research.
http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2013-04/cwru-scp041113.php - I came across this do you think if the same 3-d patterning was applied to dextran hydrogel we could see faster regeneration.
