I really can't believe that this miracle has only 31 likes...
I don't understand why people are not interested?
What a turn off story... Though the claims in the study must be real..I mean supressing the TGF beta 1 gives anti fibrotic results.
Can anyone post the hydrogel study ? it is somewhere lost in the pages of the forum.
I told you rookie, no matter the scientific studies, many end up failing in the end.

There is a link on the facebook page.
Even if you have years here, you keep acting like a rookie and believing that 2 +2 is 4. In mathematics Yes, but not in medicine.
You can say blah blah in rats regenerates and runs but ... Do you know that most experiments in rats that work, and then not do in humans? a clear example is baldness, baldness was solved in rats, then tested in humans and not work.
I want to make a clarification.
one thing is that you believe in something and another thing to prove something.
hydrogel can believe in, but never hydrogel was tested in humans, so it is only a belief and not a scientific basis somewhat likely, you can not say that the sum gives an accurate result.
Perhaps it is better to stop dreaming and believing, and devote more to trust science without start making forecasts of shit.
Lol maldition that made me laugh .Thank you
If you check Histogen results on real people about baldness ,you will see you are completely wrong.
Of course the first trials will be on rats.We share quite similar DNA.
Renovo completely failed cause it was just a hoax. But the thing is:
would mimicking the embryonic profile actually would achieve scarless healing.
Anyway i dont believe in once and for all methods. I wish there was an effective method even if it would required 1000 steps applications.
Andguess what it exists at least for atrophic scars .
Life teaches me that everything to be achieved needs a series of steps.
But i have an advice for you...begin to study Biology science in a formal or informal way.
Dont expect from other to solely solve your problems.

It is one thing to believe in something, it is anotther to have a testable factual basis with an objective standardised control which has been tested on almost every mammal... The paper has a scientific factual basis and clear evidence with a standard control...
Also if my Dr did not go by the numbers, say when he was taking my blood, and he then diagnosed on feel, he'd be struck off.

1 the wrong are you
2 you are saying exactly what I said to others here in a while. I think you really admire me.
The hydrogel study has much more credibility than all of your post in this thread.
Number one: I never said that you should believe in me, or that I am a doctor or scientist. neither, my studies are far from what is the medicine / biology.
Number two: the study of hydrogel, is like many of the studies that I got here, like tgb3,tbb2, decorin, calcium blockers, experimental drugs, etc (and all documented by doctors). so if you think my post do not have credibility, then the document you cite either, as they are at the same level (scientific papers on experimental drugs or formulas).
Unlike you I did not expect anything else from science because it is bullshit. I think the key is to live with the shit and is accepted as one.
Maybe someday science will help us, but it will take much longer. For example, assume that hydrogel will take a decade to do human trials. that's true for me, and not believe in magic shit.
Maybe I'm wrong, maybe not, but I have with my truth, time will tell if I am wrong.

Also like anyone logical, I always go by mathmatics and if my Dr did not go by the numbers, say when he was taking my blood, and he then diagnosed on feel, he'd be struck off.
You should be a lawyer, is ideal for you. You want to convince all its truth, and never will accept a mistake. you are blinded by your truth and not see beyond.
Maldition ,i think you are a pessimistic guy.I dont blame you.We are made of all of the things that life brought to us,both good and bad.
This explains all of your pessimistic posts.
Thing is, pessimistic or optimistic, we should help with our experience, knowledge and willing to help in every possible way.
As far that is not tested on humans,we share so common DNA with those mice.
wentworthwhile, probably you are right.

Thats not normal.Did anyone share the page to a really popular community?
Or did he use any black hat tool?
Yeah, as much as it would have been nice, it's not due to the page/news/hydrogel idea suddenly having gained a lot of attention. There must be something else going on.
For those who weren't familiar with the term black hat, here's the Wiki page...
Strange thing is it also says closer to the bottom that 30 people like this page, but at the top it has that higher number.
Also some progress in skin wound healing (maybe only somewhat related): http://pda.sciencealert.com.au/news/20131003-24136.html

Thanks trendycat.
Here's some more reading:
http://www.scar-club.com/pdf/4th_SCAR_Meeting/SCAR_2012_Book.pdf
I don't know if everything in there is interesting but it's a summary of what was spoken about during a conference last year where people who do research on scarring from all over the world come together and share information. Here's one thing it says in there about an observation that was made regarding a group of people with scarring:
More than 65% of the patients are unhappy with their scars and would like to improve the quality of life.
More than 65%... Could it have been 100%? LOL Seriously, I thought it was interesting.

yup something weird is happening as it only says 30 further down. i did get 3000+ notifications though, and can see who they all are
found this which could explain the reduction in likes and possibly fake likes
http://www.kairaymedia.com/blog/experiencing-unexplained-loss-facebook-page-likes/
apparently you can purchase fake likes?? could this be what happened?
id say this is what happened
i hope facebook doesnt remove any of the original legitimate ones, as afterall when it comes to support & funding we need real people. The fake likes does us no good there.
wentworthwhile, probably you are right.
Take a look at this http://www.pnas.org/content/108/52/20976.full.pdf+html?with-ds=yes
yes this is the paper on the Dextran Hydrogel
looking at these 'likers' profiles, they all seem legit though, not as the fakes have been described
Was this posted? http://blogs.nature.com/spoonful/2013/02/injectable-gel-repairs-damage-after-heart-attack-in-pigs.html
Btw hydrogel fb page now has 3412 likes strange...

IMO currently there is f all you can do about stuff like this, its a flaw in facebook that has been taken advantage of, it is facebooks problem. I personally would still not want this though.
Yeah someone might have used some black hat internet tools.
Wentworthwhile
Why dont you add the ''hair regeneration '' part.?..I know it is a part of scar free healing process but still it gives
more emphasis and can attract more people.
I told part of the hairloss community this and few people were excited. There's one guy who's sort of a super well known person in the hairloss community and he wasn't exactly thrilled by the news either.
This group has similar issue:
[edited link out]
So in March there were only 36 people who liked this group (it is a $10 billion project related to nuclear fusion research http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ITER ) and now there are 7,346 likes!!!???
