About the Eternal Youth they list HA-DS 300mg per tab, but how much HA is really in the tab. HA-DS is a combination of Hyaluronic Acid (HA), Dermatan Sulfate (DS), its not 300mg of both, so how much HA is really in the pills? I just got my order today, and I guess time will tell...

Quick read on google seems to suggest it is a very good wound healer.

Ok so I saw my General Practioner and asked about prescribing me HA PILLS.

She said that Doctors in the U.S. don't prescribe it anymore.

I was like whaaaa........what???????

Anyway she prescribed me, Folic acid says its good for health.

I said I DUN care about health in general, i care about getting something meant for healthy skin.

Well she was no help..

What all Milligram strength do the HA pills come in.

Should I take 300 MG OR 400MG EVERYDAY to start with. If so for how long?

According to this: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.f...2&dopt=Abstract , high levels of hyaluronic acid might carry an increased risk of tumours/cancer

An interesting note:

I notice that I thirst much more often since starting HA... Tonight will be my third... by the time I go to bed, I'll have taken 1350 mg of HA....

I'll probably have to up my intake of water from 3-4 liters a day to 4-5... Probably more. I've cut out coffee, too, because it is supposed to be such a systemic irritant... We'll see how long that holds up... wink.gif

It's been around a week on 300-400mg of HA .. I noticed my face looks a little smoother ... not sure if this is related to the HA or other stuff I am doing though.

It's been about 2 weeks - I am seeing some facial plumping - not sure if it's this stuff ir the NA-PCA though..

Also, I was anticipating that this stuff would also help with aching joints ... but I seem to be worse at the moment.

I've cut down to the normal dose now but still... I haven't had any results. I'm wondering whether to pack it in and start again after the liver flush ... or continue.

Any thoughts?

I have been taking the "double dose" for about three weeks now, not much of a difference. FYI taking this dose up to four months then just taking one pill of Eternal Youth a day.

Maya I would d/c it and then see if you need it after the flush. Since I have been doing the Fat Flush program(I d/c'd all of my other supplements other than the ones they recommend) I look better and feel better. Do the liver flush and then if you still need to, give it a go.

Thanks animegirle - I think they'd go to waste right now. I've just got a sense that I need to detox, cleanse and flush right now!

I bought several months supply so I will start again after the flush.

So, what brand did we decide we like best..GNC, or eternal youth? Does it matter which brand?

Misty Hi, how did the topical HA work out for you?

I really am going to try this.

By the way, I just loved this quote from Miserable:

Anyway she prescribed me, Folic acid says its good for health.

I said I DUN care about health in general, i care about getting something meant for healthy skin.

I think I'll just get the GNC. I won't have to pay S&H.

Well, after reading Misty's excellent progress with Hyaluronic Acid, I made my umpteenth trek on over to GNC...lol. (I already purchase a gazillion products from them.) The only brand available of HA, however, was Glucoflex. I purchased a box of 30 510mg tablets for $11.95. Each tablet contains 500mg of Glucosamine HCl and 10mg Hyaluronic acid sodium salt. The cost seems relatively inexpensive. Does anyone have experience with this brand? After reading all the posts regarding outrageous cost and such, I am beginning to suspect that the stuff I purchased may not be as effective. Perhaps a silly question, but is Hyaluronic acid available in different mediums, or forms (sort of like Vitamin C), which could more effective? Thanks a bunch! smile.gif

Hey Terminator,

It just dawned on me that my earlier post could be misconstrued...I goofed up...lol By different mediums, or forms, I was not referring to topicals or anything. For instance, vitamin C oral supplements are available in a seemingly infinite array of forms: L-ascorbic acid, calcium ascorbate (i.e. Ester-C I believe), ascorbate palmitate, d-isoascorbic acid, et cetera. Ester-C is typically regarded as the most effective form for the skin, since it is fat soluble. After skimming the posts on Hyaluronic Acid and clicking on the respective links, I do not recall spotting any of the other brands with HA as "glucosamine HCl," like mine. I thought perhaps that HA (like Vitamin C) could be more effective if packaged differently. Guess I should just nix that silly idea anyhow...lol

I have another question, though. I consume a bunch of other oral supplements each day. I know that some supplements, if consumed simultaneously, can behave synergistically to maximize the individual effectiveness of each supplement (e.g. alpha lipoic acid and vitamin C). Does anyone know if this is the case with HA? I am not sure how to squeeze this supplement into my pill schedule...lol I was thinking of popping the HA in with my MSM. Any info about this stuff would be much appreciated. smile.gif

Hi everyone,

I recently ordered synthivol 7, which is an oral supplement of hylauronic acid and episilk facial cream wiht pure hyaluronic acid and recieved a free sample of the hylauronic acid serum. I really like the serum because it immediately seems to fade my little wrinkly patches from my acne scars. If anyone is interested in this product, it can be obtained at [Removed]. I found the reps really helpful and they sent the order out to Europe within a week and a half. I've only been using the products for 4 days, but will update the results in the future.

In one of the newspapers i found an article about a hyaluronic acid study which was made in Germany. It says that hyaluronic acid can improve the wound healing dramatically. It also says that when you do not have enough hyaluronic acid your body can not build much collagen.

I know there is a product called Spenco that has hyaluronic acid that lots of people on [Removed] were raving about. It was designed for wound healing and can be found at Walmart, Walgreens, Eckerd's etc in the band aid section. Its around $10.
