maybe you can't see them but the top of my nose and chin is what is bad I ahve red marks on there for years! Also my right cheek has two new red marks and a huge brown spot. Everything is so much lighter now because of the ACV so whenever a pimples does become a red mark it isn't as half as dark as it would be if I hadn't been using it. Also I have a tan so that covers up alot of the discolorations. I also have oily skin which can you honetly see that in any picture? No you can't. The ACV has made my pores smaller and made my skin hardly oily, ask cucumber if you don't believe me.
smashing pumpkins you dont have acne and I cant see any of those marks or even that one whitehead you noted, be happy with yourself and dont obess over little thingsI have red marks first of all and second I grew out of my acne and most of it I get from hormomes. Thirdly, is there something wrong with helping people? This is what has been improving my skin and many other's skin. You should not come into a thread and start accusing people especially when you knwo nothing of their background. Lastly, I still have oily skin and maybe my skin isn't so bad I need acne but is that a reason for me not to help others? ACV has imrpoved my skin texture, it's ability to heal faster, and less oily skin. It is hard to take any pictures of my red marks seeing as they are healing very rapidly and msot of the time I forget. Not only that my camera is 4 years old it isn't that great and my shirt altered the pictures and I didn't realize it until I put them on the computer. I guess you aren't for helping people, I guess it is hard for you to understand that some people actually enoying helping others, and if I can make atleast one person benefit from this regimen then I am happy and know atleast I tried.
Nice reply, Miss

Thank you 🙂 I don't understand why so many people like to bash others. Soo many people come here and try to tell other's how they got to clear but everyone assumes they are a bot, and only bash them because they are clear. Doesn't anyone want to find a "cure" if so you have to be open to new ideas. Some natural products or inexpensive products work much better than acne products you buy at the locak drugstore. For me all that crap like Clearasil only made my skin worse and never really helped. From the few people who do put beneficial info on this site, they are the ones that have made my skin look the way it does today. I hardly have photos of when I had acne. I never wnated to be in any pictures, to ashamed and I think all of you can understand that. Even Dan doesn't have any photos of his acne, but no one questions him.
I love your avatar btw Spacebass lol
OH MAN that article was AMAZING.. really long but i read through all of it. no WONDER ACV is working for so many people! the evidence is there!
long story short:
As you grow older, your skin pH inches more and more up (basic level, closer to an unhealthy 7). Basically, eating fatty foods/almost all soaps make your skin more basic.
The more basic your skin is (closer to 7.. i know, 7 is neutral but skin-wise, the best number is about 5.5), the more susceptible you are to acne! so basically... everyone should use acv (acidic) to tone it down.
lol i agree with everyone here.. i've spent so much money doing stuff that hardly made a difference and now, this $3 ACV heals pimples faster, gets rid of oily skin, gets rid of red marks, maintains the healthiest pH for my skin, improves complexion........ lol. woowoo! the ONLY thing acv has fallen short at is healing this one red mark thats about a bajillion years old. idk if that'll ever go away.
maybe you can't see them but the top of my nose and chin is what is bad I ahve red marks on there for years! Also my right cheek has two new red marks and a huge brown spot. Thank you for the support. I am so happy this thread has gotten so far and so many people are benefiting! I wish you had a digital to Jaimie!
Anyone been drinking the ACV I try to when I am breave enough. I read not only does it help you lose weight but it will regulate the pH in your body and kill free radicals Also helps with circulation. I am going to buy the tablets because I can't stand drinking it. -- www.vitacost.com sells them cheaper than anywhere else.
I wasn't so sure about ACV when I first read it here in this thread - but I am so thankful that I tried it and that seems to be working. I have old red marks that are years old - they have faded over the years quite a bit but are still noticeable.
The fact that ACV shrunk a painful big zit in less than 24 hours when BP didn't do that in 3 weeks sold me on it. I also noticed that yesterday when I got home from work, and looked in the mirror (which is a horrible thing to do after a long sweaty day at work), I still looked *fresh*. Ya, I was oily, but my makeup still looked good. That was something I was not expecting!!!
I am grateful to Smashing Pumpkins for this thread and her advice because if I did not see this thread, I probably would not have known about ACV.
If you doubt ACV, try it. It may work for you, it may not. But don't bash people who are helping others out. Pictures don't tell the whole story.
Here's another question : I am really bad about putting sunscreen on my face, because of the fear of breaking out and making me look too oily. I'm guessing that using ACV makes the skin more sensitive to the sun? How many people here use sunscreen in place of moisturizer? I sometimes use CoverGirl AquaSmooth makeup because of the sunscreen included.
i havent actually read through ALL the ACV articles, but from the looks of it, ACV can really help with acne! i just bought a bottle today and plan to use it topically.. but here's my question
my regimine includes
dan's csr wash
clindamycin %1 in the day
differin at night
if i start using ACV topically day and night, can/should i still use clindamycin/differin with the ACV ? like, acv first, let it dry, then apply differin at night? or shuold i just let ACV do its trick? thanks in advance!

Hey let me know how it works out for you? I'm also using differin and it may make my skin more sensitive to ACV. My face gets really red at first, then maintains a mild redness throughout the day.
But I was having prior problems with differin.
papillon u turd monkey. wtf r u talking about? i never said anything abotu putting apple cider on ym face. i said apple vinegar compared to apple cider vinegar. anyway some one help with my question.
grapesrgood:
I misread your post. No need to call me a "turd monkey" and saying "wtf". All I wanted to do was help. You sound so intelligent calling me a "turd monkey" and saying "wtf". Keep up the good work! 😀
I don't know why people have to be so shallow and swear at others. People are so mean here. 🙁 Just because we don't personally know each other and we are on the Internet, that doesn't give you the right to swear and call each other names.
oh ps again- i advise caution before adding aspirin to the ACV toner! i've been using regular acv toner for a couple weeks now, and it's been all good. but i added aspirin to it, and it STUNG, and then pretty soon my face turned like a deep red in some areas.. oops. haha, it's ok. i'm pretty sure it'll fade away soon, i'm not too worried. but anyways: if you're gonna add aspirin, test it on a little spot before! oopsie.. hahaha
Ok im propablt gonna try this but i got questions:
I have used Duac for about 3 months and saw almost no difference but making my skin dry, these 2 past days I did nothing to my skin except wash with soap 2 times. I barely broke out, at least less than with Duac, should I use it still WITH ACV?
Also should I apply ACV before going to school? I live in Florida, its pretty hot and sweat during the day (especially lunch and pe class).

Yes, think of ACV as toner which you apply 3x a day before your normal regimen. Just wait until your face is completely dry before adding Clindamycin and Differin.

I don't like sunscreen either greasy and gross. Many coverups have suncreen in them and alot of facial moisturizer do now to. Foundation with SPF would be your best bet because they aren't greay like lotions.
I don't use sunscreen btw.

Def. use ACV it will abalnce the pH of your skin. Soaps are very alkaline and in alkaline p.acnes loooove to live that is why people get acne because our skin isn't ACIDIC enough. Seeing as ACV is acidic and most products we use on our face are basic or alkaline the ACV will bring our skin back to it's normal pH level and no acne can survive
Yes use ACV before school, using the 50/50 solution would be best so you don't go to school smelling like vinegar. It will wear off but it wont last as long if you use 50/50.

If you aren't an AIM/AOL member you cannot view the webpage, I know AOL is dumb like that lol. So here is the article.

I just realized something. For those who are on the Clear Skin Regimen, it may take longer for you to see results.
This is because BP slows down the healing rate of your skin, so your skin is going to have to adjust differently
than anyone else who isn't on a strict BP regimen. So do not be discouraged it is just your skin has to get use to healing at a faster rate.

I have read that drinking 2 tsps 3x a day is good. You can also take it in capsules.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is a tonic made from crushed, fermented apples. It's famous for its use as a folk remedy for a variety of health benefits, from boosting immunity to promoting increased energy to easing leg cramps. It gained popularity in the 1970's as a diet aid, with users reporting successful weight loss when taking several spoonfuls of apple cider vinegar before meals.
Rich in minerals and trace elements such as potassium, calcium, phosphorus, sodium, copper and iron, apple cider vinegar is a healthful addition to any supplementation regimen. Pectin in the apples provides fiber, which helps support healthy digestion and cholesterol levels. Apple cider vinegar is also believed to promote healthy circulation, contributing to cardiovascular health.
While apple cider vinegar is commonly used in liquid form, either added to beverages or salad dressings, some find the taste too bitter or acidic to consume regularly.
I guess this why alot of people suffer with acne longer than they should be. It is because everything we put on our faces is really CRAP! And only makes acne worse! People who makes these acne products must no this and the people who make soap! Yet they still make everything so alkaline that acne sufferers will only suffer more. People are ridiculous. If only everyone knew that our skin was on the acidic side then they would know how to take care of it and as of now the only thing I know that actually benefits our skin is Apple Cider Vinegar.
I'm glad I have done all this reading and trying to find info on our skin and ACV. Atleast now we are more knowledgable and know what works. So many people still think it is BS tho. I try to put ACV out there to any thread that complains about ACV but ofcourse the person is won over by some VERY expensive product on the internet. Yea no, just because soemthing is expensive doesn't mean it is better. Heck, ACV can be bought for 1.00$ and it works better than any expensive product I have used, go figure.
