Hi guys, it seems that I have found the solution to getting jojoba oil and AHA, so I don't think I'll be needing to share the shipment.
I went on a recent holiday to Thailand, and I was taking a look around the mall, especially the Boots pharmacy, and I found the AHA treatment. It's called Vitara Skin Treatment 9% AHA with Licorice and made right there in Thailand. Unfortunately, it was one percent away from being 10%, but for getting products close to home, I am perfectly alright with it. I was so happy that the price was not outrageous, despite the tube being only 25g (about an ounce). It was 195 Baht, which is roughly SGD $8. It's heaps better than the 50 bucks I would have had to pay for if I got the Avene stuff. I didn't really use it in Thailand because I was usually out in the sun, but I plan to start using it today, and see how long my two tubes will last.
Unusual as it may seem, the jojoba oil was found in the 'hair care' section of the supermarket I was in for a short period. If I hadn't looked there, I probably wouldn't have gotten three 30ml tubes of pure jojoba oil for me to bring home. Lots of people here said that jojoba oil is outrageously priced here, but it was only 285 Baht, which is $12. It is called Queen Helene JOJOBA Hot Oil Treatment, and it's made in the USA. One setback to the packaging of these tubes is that they're meant to be used all in one go, or at least half, so to get it open and use the resealable cap is quite a task. I was worried that I would be too rough on the cap (it's like those disposable eye drop caps) and accidentally squirt the whole tube out when I was using it. My only solution to transfer the jojoba oil into a more user-friendly container for accident prone people like me. And dispose of those evil tubes.
Hope this helped anyone who is going to Thailand in the near future.
P.S. - I attached some pictures of the products if anyone is curious
i was on roaccutane a yr ago for half a year, and my skin cleared up in a month. prior to all that, i had terrible acne outbreak primarily due to the application of retin-a. it was a nightmare. i had terrible terrible breakout. i was so thankful to roaccutane until recently when my acne started coming back i'm so distraught now.
i really hope this regime is going to help me.
i'm going to embark on dan's regime tmr. to start the regime, i'll get the benzac 2.5 percent as per strongly recommended by so many of you.
i went to guardian and watsons, but i couldn't find benzac 2.5 percent.any kind souls can tell me where else to get it?
They do have it. At least Watson which is where I usually get it from. You can't get pure BP per se but you can get OXY. I don't subscribe to using BP 2.5% at all. It doesn't work for me. I use OXY's BP10%. It's WONDERFUL. Plus, OXY 10% comes with a coverup (skin colour) version. And the coverup is amazing. It's better than any foundation/concealer I've used surprisingly. I use it and it stays on for the entire day. And the coverup action actually even gets better with the day as BP tends give flaky skin (and thus slightly flaky coverup) and the slight oil and sweat your skin produces will smooth it down. I find it Amazing. The BP soaks up oil etc. and is much better than any foundation which will lead your complexion to be oily as the day goes on.
Okay, I notice you're a guy so you may not be so particular about coverup? Haha but it's awesome for scarring.

yup. thanks i actually managed to find benzac 2.5 percent at the guardian at suntec city a week ago. i'm already a week into dan's regimen and it's not working for me. my face is starting to break out even more now. i'm really contemplating to going back to roaccutane.
are you on dan's regimen? does it work?
Hey guys, I'm from Singapore too.
I bought a big kit from Dan's store a year ago through a mass order on one of the more popular local forums. The total cost ran up to around 120 SGD, so its definitely more expensive, but Dan's BP worked better than any of those i could find in Watsons or Guardian (including oxy and benzac). Plus, they came in much larger quantities so I guess they gave more value for money. If any of you are interested in mass ordering, I could go dig up the old link to the mass order thread.
P.S. The regimen worked well for me. Even though I had to endure redness, horrible peeling and pain for a month, my acne eventually disappeared after 8 weeks.

It's quite normal that it'll break out the first month. It'll start clearing up further later. I think you can read up Dan's "What to expect" page. That will give you the guide. I do suffer from breakout, itchiness, redness, peeling of skin. But it's getting better since I'm already on the Week 16 of the regimen.
hey since u just started on the regimen can u give feedback? i plan on buying the big kit, also for people who have tried the regimen, will ur skin turn really red during the first month? if so how bad? cheers guys
Urhm, rather than saying red, i should say it itch, and very drying for my skin. I try out so much moisturizer but out of 5, only 1 works. I been using Neogence hydrating series and it works better because their main ingredient is water. I guess it's better for flakness skin. All the bad things happen during the first month and after that only 1 or 2 blemishes appear around the lady month. Oh, and one big cyst acne appear sometime around 2nd or 3 month. It didn't appear already. (i hope it don't come back) Now i'm only dealing with scars. I be posting my Week 1 to Week 15 regimen progress pictures in my blog soon. You might want to check it out. I still can't post images cos i'm new member, but you can view my album. "don't get too scare off by my pictures" >.<

Hello I'm actually new here. Been wanting to try Dan's products but i think it'll be more expensive than getting benzac here since it's pretty much helping my skin. I'm just dealing with the scars and the ocassional acne here and there. I'm wondering if there's an AHA product that's affordable and good for acne scars. been battling body acne for the longest time ever im already so tired! something to replace Dan's AHA product in his regime.

Hello guys! Actually after using benzac, my back acne got better. im a long long sufferer of back acne. but it's better now, just occassional one or two pimples. But my back is really oily. and i guess the clogging actually makes it harder for the scars to go off. Anyone knows any AHA creams that could help to lighten the scars? that can be found in SG of course. haha. it's so hard to find. And i love benzac, it really helped to clear my back acne but not the occassional pimples on my face. i'm a bit scared to use benzac on my face cause it makes the pimple area really, really dry.

Hello! did the vitara did any good to your skin? Did it help to lighten the scars?
I'm an expatriate in Singapore also, anyone can tell me where the exact watson or guardian to find benzac? im searching for 2.5% one, I've been on those for about a year and a half now. all i can seare OXY 5% and 10%, no 2.5%! 2,5% did wonderful job for me.... Until now my parents send me BP from indonesia which is so cheap, a tube only about 1.5SGD (small small one, but STILL! save me a lot of money) but they couldn't come so i have to find another alternative here....
Help me please!

I got mine at Tampines Mall's Guardian. Watson has it too!
Anyone got a good SPF moisturizer to recommend? Because I'm in the sun pretty alot and the Olay's All Day Complete moisturizer is kinda phased out from what I see in the stores.
