Oyster is pricey. You have to eat from 10 to 50 oysters to offset you Zinc loss after masturbating.

Drink carrot juice in the post-masturbation period to reduce oil production? That's a good idea. Reduce oil = reduce acne.

Regardless of what I do now, I still can not reverse the effect of masturbation, I still break out, my face is red, 6,7 small pimples pop up within 2-3 day. Excess oil in the first day. i just think about our gut which affects hormones, do we have leaky gut?

I know your main concern is how to better heal acne scar aftet being damage. But why not prevent it right from the start? I mean acne. No acne = no damage. Scar takes months, years even forever to fade.

The zinc content in oysters is well above the recommended allowance for zinc daily. 100 g of oysters gives roughly 530%, i think it's more than enough, so it may have a good effect. Also co sidering the fact that we try to cut off masturbation at the maximum, you'll only est one portion of oysters once or twice a week, so i think its worth it.

regarding leaky gut, i dont have it for sure. I have being breastfed until a very late age and natural breast milk from the mother has been proved to be beneficial towards gut flora. My mom stopped drinking her daily glass of wine and ate very very healthy during all the 9 months of the her pregnacy.

Also, i've been fed alot of organic food during all my life and always ate alot of of fruits and vegetables. I never was someone who ate alot of junk food anyways. I'm mostly vegan and i have not ate dairy (acne causing) for almost 3 years. I did not have acne when i stopped it was because i found it was unnatural. Also, i dont have any digestive problems.

Btw, i'm 19.

I'm also very healthy,have exceptionnal cardiovascular health (my vo2 max has been tested), i'm lean and never been fat and have also never been sick in my lifetime. A few times a year, ill get a little cold but after a day it's gone. I also have small allergies (minor)to a a certain kind of trees, but its also mostly genetics, as my parents have them.

so for me, my acne is not caused by a weak immune system, leaky gut or other health problems. My minor acne was triggered by excessive masturbation (hormones inbalances). Myskin got worse from trying to use products that irritates skin or clog pores. And youre confused when you talk about scars, as i dont have any. Scars are caused by excessive picking or very inflammed pimples. My problem is jus a little bit of facial redness and very small pimples (clog pores). Right now i havent put anything on my skin for 1-2 weeks and its getting alot better. I just use the zinc and carott juice to speed the healing.

So i recommend you to make the same reflection as i just did to see :

IF YOUR ACNE IS CAUSED BY COMPROMISED HEALTH OR OTHER MAJOR HEALTH PROBLEMS ASK YOURSELF THESE QUESTIONS:

-have you being breastfed?
-Have you been fed alot of healthy foods through your life?
-Do you get sick often?
-do you have other major health problems (obesity, insuline resistance?---> Are you fat or rather lean and muscular?
-do you have digestive problems?
-Do you have good cardiovascular health and are you athletic
-What is you diet like?
-Do you eat alot of fruits and vegetables?
-do you eat alot of dairy, meat and processed food?

IF YOUR ACNE IS CAUSED BY HORMONE IMBALANCE, ASK YOURSELF THESE QUESTIONS:

-Do you ejaculate often or excessively? ---> FOR YOU , MASTURBATION HAS AN EFFECT AS YOU'VE REPORTED IT.
-Are you in your puberty right now?
-Do you eat alot of sugar?
-are you loosing your hair? (SIGN OF EXCESSIVE DHT)
-Are you stressed? (EXCESSIVE CORTISOL)
-Is your acne mostly on your chin/jawline/middle of forehead? THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. WHEN I USED TO MASTURBATE EXCESSIVELY, I MOSTLY HAD IT ON MY CHIN. RIGHT NOW ITS UNDERCONTROL SO I ONLY HAVE ONE SMALL PIMPLE ON MY CHIN.

Oyster/Zinc source: OK agree. Choose the best sources as long as it does not have any side effects
Leaky Gut: I have not do any medical test yet. But this is a very likely cause.

1.I have been breastfed for 6 first month after born. After that, my mom let me drank formula milk powder (until I was in grade 9)

2. Being an Asian, rice (gluten) has been a daily part of everyday meal. Everyone around me (including my friends), eats at least 2 cup of rice a day (about a half of a bowl). But I dont even figure why they do not experience Acne like I do. They eat a lot. Acne free!

3. Honestly, I just step into health-conscious eating recently (about 2, 3 years). I eat vegie, fruit, drink enough water (but still into rice I am reducing it). I am no longer in puberty stage (22 yrs old)
4. I am lean, have never been fat for a day in my life. I maintain current my healthy weight for a very long time. I jog every morning (around 5000 steps) & 10 minutes of kettlebell, push up, pull up
5.I hate sugar. It makes me sleepy. I dont even drink any kind of beverage (coke, pepsi.)

I will receive my probiotics (Primal Defense) next week & take it. I would like to see if it can make any difference.

My acne mostly appear on my forehead (near my eyebrow), some in jawline, 2 to 4 on cheek, 1 on chin.

Again, masturbating (I am sure that) causes acne (I often masturbate every 3 weeks or once a month). I dont know wet dream has the same effect or not because I rarely have wet dream. I have one time every year but I did not break out after that (as I remember).

It is sad that though you are a very healthy man (I admire your way of eating) you can not counter the effect of acne. But I am glad that I have you as a companion on this journey.

Let experiment the Carrot juice & journal it. I will incorporate your method too.

P.S. Have you ever heard about Adrenal Gland disorder? I think about it for a while.I am type O blood. This book said my type should be consider Liver Boosting Protocol, Anti-inflamatory Protocal,Metabolic Enhancement Protocol.

firstly i think your acne is not caused by health factos at all.

Also when you talk about gluten, rice DOES NOT contain any gluten. Gluten is a protein in wheat. Also you are lucky to come from asia. The ancestral asian diet (rice, fruits, veggies..) is strongely associated with longevity.

Rice also is associated with longevity. Personnaly i think it is the best grain in the world, as it does not have ant gluten and it nutritious.

Also when you say that it is sad that i cannot counter the effects, yes i can actually. My acne is triggered by EXCESSIVE masturbation (ive been avoiding it for 3-4 months) and it got worse by using products, even natural cures. I know it sounds crazy but i only have clogged pores and a little bit of redness, bu it keeps improving as i started to wash again with cold water (doesnt irritate skin lime hot water does) and i dont put anything on my face. You should try washing with cold water it does wonder for acne im gonna link an article in an hour or so i need to go to work right now.

Also are you sure the products you use ar necessary? For me i know it causes alot of clogged pores/irritation, you should try to stop a while to see if theres a difference.

MIRROR UPDATE HOLY FUCKING SHIT, my forehead is becoming so clear, no more clogged pores!!! Even tho i shaved yesterday my cheeks snd chin are pretty much clear except one small pimples on each side. Dude stop using products and wash with cold water youl thsnk me later

My only problems is a little bit of dry skin, as where my clogged pores disappeared it seems to be a little more dry, and a little bit of redness on forehead and on my right cheek. I'm gonna link you some pictures after my forehead becomes clear.

I read your post again and saw that you just bought probiotics. If you have gut problems, these will be very beneficial. If you dont have any gut problems, probiotics will still be beneficial to avoid getting some gut problems later on your life.

regarding blood types, just like you i am O, which is nice we could try the diet together. My aunt who is someone into healthy lifestyles, recommended me the blood type diet too. I will mainly try it to see if anything changes (mood,skin, energy).

I use Acne Cleanser + Toner Thayer with no alcohol after that to balance my skin pH. I don't put anything more on my face.
You are lucky to have dry skin because they tend to have less acne than oily skin which is easy to clog pore. I have seen many people in my life have dry skin with clear face. They just apply moisturizer at night.
Thank you for suggesting wash face with cold water but I only find it efective if I do it frequently (about 2,3 times a day/1,2 mins each to wash out excess oil, hold the shower, put it in position directly in front of your face). I still have to use cleanser in the morning & night to deep clean. If I do not wash my face with cleanser, immediately one day after, new small pimples will appear. So clearly, my problem is too much oil production (even 2x,3x oil layers after masturbating).
You can avoid masturbation for 3,4 months. I get that. I can do it too. But let's think about this: your sexual life after getting married. I can't even imagine me after every ejaculation, face with a nightmare, oh new pimples gonna appear. That's pretty scary.
In the meantime, let's juice. I hope carrot juice helps reduce oil production.

Alright man, we have different skin types, you hsve oily skin, which means that your skin has a string acid barrier ( sebum is to protect skin) so you can use products.

Also when i talk about excessive masturbation i think you didnt understsnd whst i meant. For me it was masturbating/ejaculating 4,6 even 6 times in the same day.

Right now i ejaculate only every 2-3-4  days and only once. For me this frequency seems to work. You need to find your perfect frequency, so you need to experiment.

I think you said that you get pimples when ever you masturbate wheter the frequency is everyday or every month, is that correct? Then the reason for that is thst your acne is caused by hormones. When you ejaculate, it seems that your system cant handle all the excess hormones and it sends them to the skin where sebum production will be activated after.

so your best solution would be to counter the effects of sebum production and excess hormones. Zinc (oysters or supplement) + carot juice (vit A slows down sebum production) + cleanser and toner should do the work for you. Update me on the progress.

OK. Rogue that. Cold shower + Juice + Zinc 

Spartan Cold Shower. This is interesting*. I have read Nassim Taleb Antifragile Book. He said that constant exposure to stressors can make you become better, more robust under volatile event. Cold water therapy exposes you to stress, then lower cortisol level gradually, makes you get used to it. So it is the cortisol, stress hormone, DHT, all kind of hormones imbalance that cause the problem. If you can learn to be resistant or how to lower these hormone naturally, then you can prevent the next blow of acne. 
*I just take the interesting part of cold shower: how it affect us internally (of course other benefits like tightening the pores...etc are great but all we concern is hormone)

About masturbating, maybe I will try stopping it for the next 2 months :( Tet traditional holiday (our biggest holiday of the year) is about to come. So I can not appear in front of my relatives, kin with a face full of acne like me now :( Of course, I will continue to experiment (masturbate, trial & error) after that.

In the meantime, I will continue to research to find more natural treatments that can help lower the oil sebum production (like carrot juice). I am interested in Adrenal Disorder too. Just take a teaspoon of bentonite clay + 5gr psyllium husk to help draw out toxin. Feel great. Will update result next week xD.

I've gone one week now as an experiment as well. I'm going for that 90 day restart NoFap goal!

Right now I'm also taking zinc (only 20mg a day) and taking cold showers at the end of my normal shower. I'm also eating beef liver weekly for all the nutrients.

I better go back through and read this thread to see how far along the experience is.

My skin is oily/dry combo, but sebum production is very high and I struggle with cystic acne (huge) on my neck, shoulders, and back. This week I've found what I think to be a good way to reduce oil production in the skin. I see you guys have discussed vitamin A, and vegetables such as carrots are a source of carotenoids. These are technically vitamin A, I believe, but our body needs to convert them to retinol once they're stored. You can find one of the best sources of pure retinol vitamin A in animal liver. My acne is pretty severe and painful and this idea to eat liver was pretty desperate for me, but the day of eating about 300g of beef liver, I saw my cysts drying out and reducing.
Eating liver is pretty gross to me, but in just two days, I've seen the fastest reduction of my cysts in months! I'm going to continue eating about 500g a week.

By the way, this isDay 8of no porn or masturbation for me. It might be helping my skin a little, but I mostly feel a boost of confidence to talk to people and a boost in energy to get things done.

I love green tea (3+ cups a day), but I think I need to cut it out because of the high caffeine content. I would like to switch to chamomile but it makes me kinda drowsy, so I usually just have a 1-2 cups before bedtime.

Hey guys shmilyM and JiKasa, i've read your comments, i'm at work so i cant really respond so i'll you guys let you guys know when i'm off work. Also a little update from not using products, taking one cold shower per day, zinc (oysters and supp), carrot and cucumber juice: my skin keeps improving, my small pimples on my cheeks are about 90%, clogged pores ok forehead 90% healed, i only have a little bit of dry skin. I have one new whitehead on my lip because i masturbsted yesterday but it doesnt bother me at all. The massive zinc content in the oysters i ate yesterday made me insanely horny and i couldnt sleep..

@Jikasawelcome to our clan. Give up porn & masturbate are good. But our intention is to be clear, no break out after ejaculation/masturbation (with moderate, healthy frequency). Without them, life is not complete.

Is there anyone here experience these things after masturbating? (+1,2,3,4 hours, +1 day, +2 days....)
- Feel drowsy, tired, weak though has already slept for 8 hours
- Hot flashes (body temperature rises through the day, not feeling, it does happens to me, real)
- Feel itchy on face
- Face turning red where acne is

Hi shmilyM,

I experience the lack of energy after masturbating. However the other day, i ejaculated twice (wetdream and masturbation) and surpringily, no lack of energy. Thst night i ate the oysters with the insane amount of zinc in it, so it must be that. Right now at day 2. Also regarding the redness, it seems to be the only thing wrong with my face, especialy on forehead. My clogged pores on forehead are healing and not active anymore however, the skin in the middle of my forehead is just red for no reason.i It could be ejaculation/masturbation. I'll cut on it for a week or two and i'll see. Is redness of skin also a problem for your guys??@shmilyMand @Jikasa

Unfortunately, beside redness (yes,forehead), I experience all the symptoms above. I suspect there must be something wrong with my adrenal gland. Next year I will go for a medical test anyway. But now my priority is natural treatment, as healthy as possible.

Hi shmilyM,

i am happy for your that you dont get redness on your skin, as its the worse shit ever. My pimples are very very small and 90% healed, however the redness makes the acne look worse than it really is.

Regarding adrenal gland disorder, ill look it up, it seems to ne somehing interestibg regarding your particular problem. The distinction between you and me is that mine is caused by over-ejaculation (more than one every 2-3 days seems to be too much for me) and yours is caused directly when you ejaculate whether its been 1 day or 4 weeks youve been abstaining.

The other major difference is thst your skin is oily and mine is dry/sensitive. If you get really oily skin directly after masturbsting/ejaculating, the only reason is DHT.  Ejaculation= Massive production of DHT.

So as i said in past posts, your best bet is to block DHT at all cost. carott juice, zinc,  will be effective for you because your acne is caused by your oily skin and those help to block excessive production For me it does not really help, because my skin is not oily. Well actually It helps for one fonction: Faster healing and regeneration of the skin, which is really good. Also my skin is improving has improved since i've stopped using natural topics remmedies.

Also one last thing i have found regarding your problem is thst you may have what is "Postorgasmic illness syndrome". i really hope for you that it is not the cause. So as i've said your best bet is to block DHT and oil production. Also one last thing, which is VERY IMPORTANT: DONT EVER DRY OUT YOUR SKIN. ANYTHING THAT DRY OUT YOUR SKIN (ALCOHOL, CERTAINS ACNE PRODUCTS, HOT WATER. 

The reason is that when you dry your skin, it will either make it red, irritated (this is the case for me) or it will make your skin try to compensate and produce even more oil, This is very important for you to avoid dryness at all costs too.

Also my day was absolute shit  and i feel miserable today, however i managed to eat very well and i drank 2 carrot and greens juices today, so i'm happy about that. Also went doing some sprints outside. Also tommorow will be day 3 of no masturbation, so i think im gonne feel better tomorrow :) . So guys, eat well, juice carrots and greens, get more zinc, move and cut masturbation for a little while and it will be worth it.

I think you said in your past posts that you had combination skin, is thst right? If yes, what is your oily skin zones aand whst are the dry psrts of your face?

Now I am interested in any kind that can help reduce oil production. May be I should contact doctor and arrange a blood test to see which vitamin is defficient in my body.

Cold water still makes me feel good. Just inconvenient. At work, they don't have shower for you. Spashing water with hands is ok but since hands is where there are a lot of bacteria. I don'g prefer touch face with my hands. We still need to wait for more to judge whether cold water is effective or just a confirmation bias.

A vitamin test is a really awesome idea, thank you very much i'm gonna try it too, it will probably save us alot of time! Also if just want to splash your face just was your hands for a good minute before so they are bacteria and dirt free. Yes i agree on you about the cold shower. Myself i cant go witt ice cold water as it seems to irritate my skin more so i go lukewarm/ cold and its good.

To me, nothing's new now except the pimples are drying out too. My face has been calmer for 3 days since my last fap session (It has always been this way, no fap, no pimple) 

Washing face with cold water regularly (2,3 times a day, 20 seconds each) has done a pretty good job in removing excess oil from my face (still too soon to jump to a conclusion that this is effective). And I will keep doing it. Ice water is not necessary, as long as it is not warm or hot water. 

Sadly, (I just checked) my country does not have a vitamin test so I can not determine what vitamin is defficient :( and I don't like to experiement unnatural pills too which can cause side effects if I overdose. 

@Jikasa, just read your latest blog post. Nice ass :)) I wish I had a cute dog like yours too. haha. 

But do you overdose? Vitamin D3 should be at maximum 1000 IU a day. Since it is not natural, I don't advocate taking  high dose like the way you do. For example: Vitamin A in carrot or liver is in its natural form. Our bodies can store & convert it if they need so we can eat as much as we want. 

Another problem, can the effect of drying out & producing less oil due to Vitamin D3 you take be confounded with other supplements or changes in routine? I read & saw that you use a lot of supplements  (even though you have been on a very good diet).

In addition, usually, (assuming you have the same problem as I & Guillermo97), our face become clearer & (a bit) less oily after (a long time) fap session. I can tell you that my face becomes a lot better since the 3th week (Do you remember the treatment group & the control group which doctor gives subject a placebo drug?). I am worry about this. All our efforts is nothing but just the result of time.

Anyway, keep doing. Eat right + Cold water + Zinc + Carrot Juice.

FYI on this list, which helps regulate sebum production. Vitamin A is the highest potential here. Zinc is obvious & a must-have. Probiotics is good too. I have yet to try Saw Palmetto, Niaminacid B3, Tumeric (prevent cancer, anti-inflammation), Vitamin C (just eat oranges), Vitamin D (though I live in tropical area, I hardly have come outdoor, so D deficiency may be possible). 

My ultimate objective:
- To have the optimal nutrient intake (supplements) while maintaining  a proper diet (paleo, vegan)
- Reduce oil sebum naturally (without resorting to Spiro or Accutane)
- Cure the ejaculation curse 

I am a little curious
@Guillermo97, Have you ever break out if you "do it" only once a week? As I know, you said that your problem is excessive masturbation. What about abstaining it for a month? Will you be totally clear?

@Jikasa, You have abstained for a while. Long enough to be clear. What about "do it" regularly (say, once a week?). After all which is your problem? Excessive masturbation or Only ejaculation cause Acne. To me, no matter how, as long as I ejaculate, Acne appears :(

P.S. for jikasa, Cod Liver Oil has higher vitamin A content than Carrot & Beef Liver. I have just read this article. Interesting. Cod liver oil. One more thing on experiment list.

@shmilyMI do not seem to break out from once a week. Also, i'm been clear most of my life even tho i masturbated every 2 or 3 days, but i never masturbated twice in a same day or 2 days in a row. But i only triggered my acne by masturbsting excessively which means a few times in a row in a same day.

May be mega-dosing of supplements breaks you out. Your body can not absorb all at the same time. Synergistic form supplements (not natural form) havetheir side effects which I want to avoid as much as possible.

@Jikasa, I don't understand. According to your diet blog, you have a very good way of eating. So what's the problem here?

So both you & guillermo97 "do it" too much then acne appears. Not because of ejaculation like me. Lucky you guys.What about doing it once everyweek for a month. Will new pimple appear? I acknowledge that over masturbation (definitely) cause acne. But all I want to know is moderate, healthy masturbation causes acne or not.

Yeah, right now, I am really interested in vitamin A, D3 & probiotics. These things havetheirsown megathreads& successful stories.

The problem is, how to best absorb them without wreaking harvoc your long term health.

Probiotics is totally OK. Nothing to say more.

Vitamin A: Carrot, Beef liver. Right now, 1-2 carrot juice everyday seems to be a good choice. But still low dose in vitamin A. Cod liver, is far superior. I am searching on Amazon to find the optimal choice (Have not found yet)

Vitamin D3: have not found the best brand yet.

Any brands recommended by you guys?

@shmilyM I'm confused about my acne too. :( I gotta keep trying though.  I read the recommendation for d3 is 5,000iu a day?  That's what I'm taking.  And the recommendation for zinc is 23-40mg per day (you can find many links in a search that recommend about 30mg daily for acne sufferers).  I just took 40 for the first time today, but I'm going back down to 30 tomorrow!  I'm also just starting the magnesium, but if anything I think I need more than 350mg of that.

As far as masturbation goes, I think it's fine (and even healthy) in moderation (!!) - the same with mostly everything!  My problem is that it becomes a bit of an addiction.  Starts off as once or twice a week, moves onto once a day, and then worse from there.  This leads to me being less social, less confident, and more likely to sit in my apartment doing nothing productive (which in turn leads to more acne).

COD LIVER OIL!  I really want to get some, but I'm afraid then that I really will be taking too many things.  I want to keep it simple.  From what I read, the best brand is Green Pasture.  "Fermented Cod Liver Oil".  It's so freaking expensive, but you can search up people's experiences with it and see that a ton of people are singing its praises.  

Today was a bad day for me, but I'm gonna bounce back tomorrow stronger!

This Cod Liver Oil type  kills multiple birds with one stone. Freaking expensive!!! 50 bucks for 150 ML (one month, da hell). But it has:

- Purest CLO, total organic, highest vitamin A  (in natural form), nothing can beat this unless they synthesize to boost the content (which is toxic)
- High in Omega 3, 6, 9
- High in vitamin D3 too

Hmmm...I need to contemplate more about this. Very big, risky investment, but don't know the effect yet. 

Maybe I should purchase something less expensive, synthesized vitamin A to test the effect in the short term (say 1, 2 weeks) then switch to this one for long term benefit. Another wishlist items.

If I need to take vitamin, minerals supplements, the only two or three I would take is this one + Zinc + Probiotics.

Any, keep moving guys, I still suffer from the post fap effect which left about 4-6 pimples on my face. But thanks to cool water, I feel better.
