A few on my chin.. I have cheated a few times in the past week with almnd butter and gum. But over all I have been doing good. I am realizing that I was causing most of my skin problems and scars because of my picking habit. My skin truly looks so much better after 3 days of no picking. I guess I was picking it so much I couldnt heal.
Supplements:
Vitamin A
Vitamin D
Vitamin B complex
Calcium
Magnesium
Vitamin E
Vitamin C
HCL (30 minutes after my meal once every great while)
1 tablespoon of Cod liver oil (omega 3 and has vitamin A and D)
1 tablespoon of Olive oil (omega 6)cod liver oil
5-6 tablespoons of coconut oil
1 1/2 tablespoon of Celtic sea salt
Taurine powder
hey there!intresting regimen, im on something similar, or well trying to be at least >.>' so can i ask, how long r u having coconut & garlic? and how exactly do u deal with garlic? like u said somewhere here u ate like whole garlic at day, n im just..hoow?? o__o
Lol! I DID eat a whole garlic raw in a day.. But I don't know if I put what happened up here so I will post wht happened now.. Which is also why I don't really eat garlic now! A few weeks ago I ate about maybe half of a head or even he hole head (can't remmeber) of raw garlic (because I ran out o coconut oil).. Well the next day I woke up with the worst breakout ever! I suppose it was because the garlic was killing the candida a little to fast and I was expelling toxins through my skin. I do however eat 5-6 tablespoonsfull of coconut oil everyday with out breaking out bad. The first week it made me break out pretty bad but now I can tolerate it!
Good luck on your regimen! My skin is looking great again. I have a few small pimples on my chin but I have been cheating lately and eatling almond butter and it is also my menstrual time. I highly reccomend this diet along with the exercise. How long have you been on the diet? How much coconut oil are you taking right now with out getting sick? I usualy take 5-6 tablespoons all at night so I can just lay down afterward and go to sleep. I notice if I take more then 5 I usually get sick.
hey biologygirly - just caught up on your log and it was really interesting. i'm starting to think that eggs are a trigger for me as well because i've eaten them the past 2 sundays and then experienced breakouts the monday afterwards both times. it totally sucks since i don't eat meat and need to find a more reliable protein source. i hope that things keep improving for you!
intresting u take coconut oil alone before sleep not together with those garlics and not together with food?
i just add coconut milk to fe cocoa drink today or simply to food (overall 3-6 tbsp as well) for needed fat intake (i just stress all the time about that whole fat thing tbh, i cant figure out how much, too much or too less, when, what not etc, gee..) anywayz according to plan im trying to do, i should be having like 2 onions & 6 garlic gloves twice a day
buut man i cant manage to get in more than 3 cloves tho, srsly..aand rund out of onions so i have excuse for that at least lawl, but hey..
how exactly do u get so much garlic in u, like what is your tehnique for that? :/ also at what time do u get them can u tell?
also i know black walnut tincture & wormwood should be good for parasytes, candida n this kind of stuff, do u use those too?

Yeah the eggs made my skin go from 95% clear to a complete mess over the couple weeks that I ate them. I LOVE eggs.. but I love clear skin more. It stinks that they are a trigger and Bee says that that means they are helping me detox.. But I would rather eat meafish/veggies and not breakout then eat eggs. I mean I may as well eat chocolate everyday if I am going to deal with breakouts.. It's just not worth it. Thank you for your encouragement! Things are improving and my skin is almost at 90% once again I hope this candida diet works for you as well

If you are on the strict candida diet coconut milk isnt alowed because there is to much sugar . I just chopped up the garlic reall small and took it by the sponful and chased it with water until it was gone. I don't eat garlic anymore because the last time I tried i made me breakout to bad. I was using black walnut tincture and wormwood for about a week but it made me not have a sharp thinking process (the wormwood can severly hurt the neurons in your brain) so I stopped taking it.
well with sugar u mean additives or its natural sugar in it? :/ i just use coconut milk thats made solely from coconut pulp and water, still bad? aand breakout from garlics maybe toxins flushing out, worsening before getting better, purgin, something? bout wormwood, k thnx will keep in mind that fo sho.

The diet im on all sugar is off limits.. But I cheat once or twice a week.. Drinking coconut milk would def be a cheat. Yes breakouts from garlic is def toxins flushing. Wormwood is no good!
The candida diet is about low carb and antifungals, primarily. The coconut part of the diet refers to coconut oil, which is a strong antifungal, but since it's been processed, the sugar that's in raw coconut milk is gone/reduced. Coconut milk, while delicious, is very sweet (lots of fructose, I'm assuming). I know I broke out after using it in a curry.

what about dried coconut? like sprinkles? thats also meat right? buut ive actually read dried coconut is suposed to be even more effective than oil for removing parasytes etc, bcz of fiber etc in it n so..what u think? :/
but biologygirl, your scars r intended right? and once u get the scar tehnically it cant refill on its own anymore bcz thats like little piece of flesh missing therfor dna of that place of how it should be too? eh nvm cant explain myself ;/ basically tehnically scar cant refill itself without somekinda outside influence anymore anywayz right? :/

I think dried coconut would also be considered a cheat.. I have a couple ice pic scars and big pores.. Some days my pores dont bother me that much and other days they seem to be bigger. I havnt tried copper peptides. Have you? I ordered some stem cell swiss apple cream so i'll update on here if that helps at all.

sry for late reply but no i havent tried cp myself yet, i just remember reading good reviews here and elsewhere on nets by ppl who used them and they were pretty inspiring indeed and i just know cp stimulate collagen growth, which would be whats needed for scars right? strenghten (?) skin overall and other good stuff. just look it up a bit if u havent yet, n ull see..they r a bit pricey tho, but i spose its bcz they r kind of effective, i havent heard about its effects on pores however, but maybe? :T

High frequency maching used everyday (my friend lets me use theirs so I didnt have to buy it but they are around 100$...
Red light once or 2x every week...
clarisonic scrub brush (only been using on my forehead and chin but since I started my chin has almost been 100% clear)
Murad masks once in a while
I got so use to seeing bumps in the mirror I almsot thought it was normal.. but now that my skin has really cleared amost 100% I am remembering what it is like to really have smooth skin.. Take action now on your skin so it doesnt end up sarred like mine! Never EVER pick or use harsh chemicals on your skin.. Eat well.. Mentally become as enlightened. Remember your skin doesnt define who you are.. Once you stop defining yourself behind your skin it often clears.. That is kinda what I did this past week and it's cleared then it's been in the past year..

You said you gained weight at the beginning of this diet. I didn't read your whole log so I was wondering if that ever evened out, or maybe it wasn't a problem for you. I know this diet takes in a lot of good fats.
If I exercise regularly and maintain my calorie intake, will I have the weight gain thing under control?
I just don't wanna develop cellulite or have unwanted extra fat. I guess a little weight gain I don't mind.

My skin is WONDERFUL!! I mean I have pores and minor scarring from what I went through (which you all can witness from this log).. But as of not I dont have any active acne.. Just a few blackheads that have been there for a while but I dont want to touch because of the scar factor. There are a couple minor bumps on the left side but you can even see them and they dont hurt. I do have a white head pop up every now and then but overall my skin looks SO much better

LOL sadly I have gained weight .. I don't mind though.. I'll take the weight anyday over acne.. But the reason why I gained so much I think is because I eat a ton of butter and coconut oil everday. Some days I eat like 1-6 tablespoons of ghee (clairified butter) and about 5-8 tablespoons of coconut oil. I try to do 5 miles a day among other things but I am still packing on the pounds.. I started out at about 125-130 and now I am 134-138... I still look heathy though and not over weight at all.. I believe if you cut out the butter and take only 5 tablespoons of coconut oil a day you shouldnt gain to much.
How many calories were/are you taking in a day? I'd still be cooking with olive oil and stuff. I'll probably take 4 tbsp of coconut oil max per day. What I'll be eating will probably consist just of meats, eggs, veggies. I'm pretty small so to sustain my weight and survive I'll just need 1500 calories a day. If I keep it in the 1500-2000 range, even with all those fats, I should be fine? Or does it not matter? Haha, acne isn't my problem so I'm not too worried. It's overall health and energy.

I'm not sure how well this will apply to you, since I'm a 5'10" guy and I've always needed a lot of fuel to sustain myself, but I'm on essentially the same diet as biology, with a few tablespoons less of coconut oil every day (mostly because I can barely stomach it). I've actually found I lost a significant amount of weight on this diet, to the point where I have to make efforts to work in more and more good fats and vegetable carbs just to maintain my weight at 63kgs (it was 71 kgs before this diet). If you eat lots of healthy meats and vegetables, and supplement with coconut oil/fish oil and a bit of butter, you shouldn't gain weight as long as it's in proportion to your body size. Unless you go down the route of chugging down cupfuls of butter/coconut oil (props if you can manage it, I can't).
