No I obviously dont or I wouldnt have asked. It sounds like a figure of speech I have never heard of. Why are you being so reluctant to tell me what the phrase means? Cant you just tell me what it means instead of defining words that I already know the definitions of

So my constant struggle with acne continues! I decided to take pics with my digital camera since I have an obsession with my skin. Maybe I can just take pics instead of popping my pimples  Plus Im really bored and tired and need something to make me really tired so I can sleep well tonight.

WOW! :boogie:

I just checked out that picture with your makeup on and your skin looks 100% better! I think you are doing a fantastic job applying that Everyday Mineral Makeup because it looks so natural. It's a good lip gloss color too. If you find you have a particular spot that needs additional coverage, don't be afraid to dip a smaller brush, like the size of an eyeliner or lipstick brush, into the coverup, tap some off, then apply by using a gentle dabbing motion right on the particular spot to further reduce the redness, over your application of overall face coverage. It's fun to play around with it and I agree, you're doing a great job especially since you have only had it for a week!

I also checked out your last pictures with bare skin. I read on the sulfur cream you're using and it says it kills bacteria and acts as an exfoliant as well. Sometimes you might experience some itching, which you said you do. But if you check out your first pictures you posted right before using the new meds, then check out the recent ones, you can see a big difference in the way your skin looked before until now. Nothing will be 100% in the beginning, or maybe ever, but what you're shooting for is near perfect! Your skin looks calmer, less inflamed, less raw and angry, and looks like it's beginning to heal nicely. Remember, it will take some time for the spots that were under your skin to either shrink away and never emerge or come up and get killed off by your cream. Either way, overall your skin looks happier!

Good luck and continued success!

Im glad you think my face looks better. I think it looks somewhat better but there are still new pimples popping up (much smaller than the ones I had before and I am very greatful for that) and there are some papules that just wont srink up. The redeness in my cheeks isnt as horrible or as itchy so Im real happy about that. Will you do me a favor? Can you go to my workplace and shut up my co workers everytime they bring up my skin? 😛 Visitors of patients in the nursing home I work in have brought it up, one charge nurse brought it up three times once everday for three days, another charge nurse brought it up but she did it in a nice way and was very understanding because her 19 year old daughter has severe acne, and Im just tired of talking about it. I dont like attention drawn to it. Its like if a patient had an amputated leg, would they say, "What happened to your leg?!" I hope they wouldnt because its sort of similar to what they said to me, "What happened to your face?" I wish people would get a clue. Some subjects just are not to be brought up and criticizing someone for having acne is one of them

Yeah I know you were. Thast why I said that to you. I remembered you had told me you were gonna do that in your last e-mail to me. I followed you back here after you told me you were gonna do that. I love engaging in written conversation with you. You are nothing but nice to me! I envision you as a wonderful mother by the way. Im sure your kids just love you to death!

Aww thanks!

It's funny because I think once you have become a mother, it seems no matter how old your kids get, or their friends, or even people around this org, you want to help them out as much as you possibly can so they hopefully can benefit, and make their lives a little less stressful. Everything is much more stressful when you have crappy skin because it's an element that seems so out of control. Like when you have an important place you have to be, you worry will your skin look good that day? It's crazy how much people with good skin don't realize what people with bad skin go through just to feel 'normal' doing the same things. So I think I just approach it as though my own kids were asking something or posting something... just try and help them out!

When do you next have a derm appointment? I'm anxious to see what he has to say because he will stick by you until you clear up! He seems nice like you have said in the past.

Ciao Ciao!

I still can't believe people continue to comment about your face! It seems like they are a bunch of idiotic people there... I mean the ones who blatantly ask what happend... not the ones who ask in a caring manner! I just don't understand how in this world everyone is supposed to be politically correct in anything they say, yet when it comes to skin problems, they are totally rude! And I agree... if they saw an amputee... would they continually ask what happened? why do you look like that??? I don't advocate violence Molly... but I think you have to just haul off and SLUG them!!! :box:;)

Yeah I want to be an org member for a long time! Hopefully, when I am clear (if I ever get to that point) I can help out other people who are in their twenties and younger who went through the same battle as me. How many children do you have? I am an only child. It sucks lol

Thats for sure! People who dont have acne cannot possibly understand what its like. They talk as if we dont have feelings and just throw out comments without thinking first how it might affect the acne sufferer.

My next derm appointment is March 6th which will be here before I know it 🙂

lol If I wasnt at work I might just do that hahaha I swear anytime someone asks me that I will ask them would they ask one of the patients in the nursing home here who doesnt have a leg, "Would you ask a resident with an amputated leg, what happened to your leg?" I honestly dont know what else to say without being rude. I dont want to step to their level. Hopefully they wont say anything today because I am wearing my everyday minerals make up and lipgloss which does look like a lipstick and it makes my face look soooo much better!

WOW is all I have to say!!! You look wonderful the way you apply your makeup! I really can't believe that you have only had it around a week because you do such a good job. The exciting thing I think about that makeup is so many people use it and it doesn't break them out. I've heard minerals are actually good for your skin, so that's a plus.

- When you have your makeup on, and it's applied well, you FEEL prettier and look prettier.

- When you feel and look prettier, you naturally feel better about yourself, which gives you more confidence to face your residents, co-workers, just about anything at work, because you are not as self-conscious about your skin.

- The more time you spend feeling better about the way your skin looks, you will begin to spend more time doing things you want to do. Plus, you won't have a breakout hold you back because you are able to cover it up.

- As you continue using your medicine, and even new meds the derm might prescribe, your skin will continue to look better and you will require less and less makeup to get a great look. Your skin will improve and you will need less makeup to produce the desired results!

- An added benefit to wearing makeup is you won't see as much 'bad' on your skin that you feel you need to pick at or fuss with or stare at or spend more time than necessary in the mirror.

- All in all, makeup is a wonderful tool to allow you to get out there and do what you want to do and just blend in. I LOVE blending into a crowd!

- Lastly, I think you look very professional! lol

Great transformation! Even though you still have active spots, continue with your routine and by the time March 6th rolls around, your derm will be able to see how these meds worked for you!

Good luck!

Good look with the Everyday Minerals, Molly. It looks very nice, natural, glowy on you (as on all!) I'm surprised it took you this long to finally order it! ;)

I am afraid of being rejected. I am socially inept.

I just wish this acne would fing end! I washed my face around 8 oclock and I had to use my basis bar for sensitive skin to remove my EM make up. I have a bunch of new zits everyday! I dont understand why I break out everyday even when Im not on my period. It just never ends. I wish these antibiotics would work faster

Im gonna start eating an assortment of frozen berries for breakfast every morning and see if that helps my acne and my weight. In fact Im eating some now and I used to do that and Im not sure why I stopped  In addition to drinking a lot of water, the past couple of days I have been drinking organic green tea with about four drops of honey. I hope that helps too

My face looks less red this morning so I am happy about that. Maybe this new make up is starting to help me :D

I'm sorry you're having a hard time right now, Molly. I guess the first few months of any product are ups and downs. Hopefully things will just keep going up soon, once Clenia starts working completely.

Thank you! I typed Clenia up on google to see if I could get reviews on it. I dont understand if this is supposed to be used as a wash or what. Its called Clenia Emolient Cream. I think that means I dont use it as a cleanser but just as a cream but Im not sure now. Based on the reviews on acne.org, they make it sound like its a cleanser

Edit: nevermind its a medication. I have been using it right all along
