Lamarr,
Thanks for the reply man. I wonder if the mepacrine would work for me as well since mine is rather more severe. On top of the joint/muscle pain I also don't seem to recover from injuries anymore which at this point has become more worrisome than the flushing (although I still flush daily).
Halfpipe,
Congrats that the mepacrine seems to be starting to work. I hope it works out for you. At this point though I wouldn't sweat the permanent redness. If you are able to fully get rid of the flushing than you can focus in on the redness. You are fortunate that your mom is a professional massage therapist! I have not experienced the shooting pain in my left arm as you have, but occasionally I get chest pain on my left side. Do you ever get muscle spasms? Also, what part of your back is affected? I went to a rheumatologist and got tested, but unsurprisingly everything checked out. The rheumatologists seemed rather unconcerned after my appointment so that is when I realized that the joint/muscle pain was going to be as much of a bother as the flushing.
Hey guys just wanted to update I think the quinacrine is slowly helping but I have now stopped using my sulfur topical at night due to I think its not letting me see the full results
I am scared to really break out by just cleansing and moisturizing but fuck it,I am gonna do it for the sake of not saying (well maybe it could of worked if i stopped using a topical)
hello, after reading the whole blog of post accutane/minocycline facial flushing it seems that some of us have different conditions. Some have Rosacea, Some have keratosis pilaris rubrai faceii, some have sun damage, and some have auto immune system problems (Graves disease).
Is it possible for all of us to start posting close up pictures of our facial redness.
Some of us here are confused with what we have, and maybe we could help each other more.
thank you
peter.

Yeah Ive been reading alot about it
I just ordered some ultra emu oil which is supposed to be the best healing one for the face
I wanna get the normal one too though and use it on my scalp
It took me an hour to find the right site, alot of sites have a bunch of stuff added and mixed..
Peter it specifically said it was good for YOUR type of eczema and all other types but it pointed yours out before the general assumption so that might be something to look into.
halfpipe,

Also, guys I tried using emu oil and for me it had no effect on my flushing. Not to say that it wouldn't work for any of you, but that was my experience with it.
Seattle i'm a big believer of the spasms being due to nerve damage from inflammation. I used to get muscles spasms over my cheeks ALL the time when my rosacea was bad. Now that the inflammation is gone i get none...
